What can I say, great apartments - clean and tidy, great location, great vibes. We took over all the apartments for a 40th Birthday for a week and there were a lot of us! Mary and her staff are the best, they couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommended and will definitely go back! Thank you Mary for your hospitality!

This is our 3rd time to the Anatoli apartments. The owner Mary is a very special lady. extremely attentive and looked after me and all my friends and fam with a lot of care and attention. The apartments are spotless, comfortable and modern. It must be the closest accommodation with a pool to the beach, 20 meters away. The club sandwiches were amazing. Huge shots and great priced alcohol at their Helios bar. I can see us here every year.. its perfect. I can't thank you enough Mary

If you are in Crete this hotel is your best option! Close enough to Heraklion not to spend too much time with travelling to&from the airport, from the terrasse you see the sea which is a few steps away as the hotel is close to a small, protected bay which is fully equipped with everything what you need (supermarket, restaurants). The whole setup is offering you the feeling of perfect freedom and calmness. The owner is a very sweet lady, talkative, helpful and nice, keeping the rooms tidy, net and clean.

I love this place so much I don’t really want to tell anyone about it in case it gets booked up for my next visit. 4 years in a row we have returned to the amazing hospitality and location of Anatoli Apartments to see Mary and her family who run the place. They treat everyone as a welcome friend. The apartments are spotlessly clean and maintained every second day with polite and unobtrusive efficiency. Inside there are all the basic equipment you would need for a bit of self catering on holidays - and if you were missing anything Mary would surely do her best to get it for you. All balconies look over a beautiful pool which has a separator to prevent children going to deep. Once again the patio and pool are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. A small snack bar beside the pool opens during the day and there are tasty but reasonably priced drinks and snacks served to order. Less than 2 minutes walk from the edge of the property and you can find yourself at the start of the Agia Pelagia beach. It is a stony/sandy beach and not very wide which means it gets busy most days with tourists and Greeks alike. But the water is warm and clear and clean. Fish can be seen swimming in even the shallow depths so great for little snorkellers. Sun beds (2€) and umbrellas (3€) are available to hire for the day. Pedalos and boats and some water sports are available also but their presence is well managed and not intrusive to beach goers. Agia Pelagia is a small village with a quiet pace. There are many restaurants most serving the standard Greek traditional fare, with the addition of a few new places that take a more modern approach to cuisine. A handy take away of Giro pita or pizza can be got cheaply and taken back to the apartments if you are in a quiet mood or living on a budget. The small town has a few shops, a couple of well stocked supermarkets, a nice jewellery shop and a selection of souvenir shops selling crafts, beauty products, clothing and ceramics to take home as gifts... but it wouldn’t take you all day to visit the shops... drive 15 minutes or get the local bus to Heraklion in 30mins to see a wider selection and visit the attractions. For me the Anatoli is the perfect location with the right balance of everything. Pool and beach. Quiet but with things to do.... and guaranteed Cretan sun! I love the cleanliness of this establishment but by far what has kept me coming back is the welcome of Mary, Maria, Manolis, Spiros and this year, Angelica who offer a home from home, a friendly smile and wave, any help you could ask for.. but never intrude on your holiday time. .... please don’t take my space! ....

We spent a nice week in this hotel in Agia Pelagia. Our kids enjoyed very much the swimming pool. We appreciated clean rooms with equiped kitchen. The sea is just a few steps from the hotel. There is a supermarket right behind the corner where you can get fresh bread every morning. We really have nothing to complain about. The best thing about this hotel is very friendly stuff, especially owner Mary, who is working hard all day including cleaning a behind pool bar but she is always smiling and ready to help.
