Villa ILIATORAS is built in a hill just above the beach of 'Mononafti' in the area of Agia Pelagia, in a big extent surrounded with trees and flowers. We stayed 4 days in early May. The villa is absolutely stunning, comfortable, decorated in a traditional Greek atmosphere with lots of love and passion for details and good taste. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic vacation, and to experience a real autentic Greece this is the right place. We rented a car and traveled around Crete and returned in the evenings to rest from crowded cities and enjoy the tranquility and absolutely stunning scenery. The villa is fully furnished and has all the facilities for a self-catering holiday convenient for people who like to travel and cook for themselves, there is a very cute grosery near the villa where you can buy all you need for a great typical Greek meal. And if you are not a cook there are plenty of excellent restaurants throughout the area. Anastasia hosts with supreme grace, generous caring and attentive. I personally recommend to taste the olive oil she makes herself, it would not be presumptuous to say that it is the best olive oil I have ever tasted and I know a thing or two about olive oil since i live in Israel. Wonderful apartments with magnificent sea views and only a ten minute walk from the beach. Car hire is recommended if you want to travel anywhere, but the apartments are so comfortable, you might not want to leave. Simple, elegant, charming and peaceful.

Small apartment complex with great views. We had a small apartment on the ground floor with very nice dining area under a pine tree and views of the sea. Very nice was also the well usable outdoor shower (as not visible). Both are available only to this apartment, according to our Recommendation. Overall functionally equipped, very comfortable double bed. The kitchen may be a bit too simple for guests interested in self-catering. We spent a week at the end of July and we had a great time here. The owner of this property is a nice person who helped us to find out interesting places to sightsee. We had an apartment which is spacious and has everything both in kitchen and bathroom. The villa is sorrounded by restaurants, supermarket and beaches but a car or motorbike is necessary. We would love to come back once and highly recommend! Thank you Anastacia and Janis for everything!

We stayed at an apartment in the villa at the end of April/beginning of May. The apartment has everything you need to cook, relax and enjoy a lovely holiday. We found being away from the town very relaxing and enjoyed the panoramic view from the lounge window as well as being able to sit outside on the chairs provided. We didn't have a car and didn't feel we needed one. We walked to Agia Pelagia (about 2 miles) for shopping and restaurants, many located on the beach. Very easy to get a taxi back if you wish and there are buses to Heraklion. There is also Mononaftis beach which is closer, just down the hill. There are a few great restaurants and some small shops. Super friendly, welcoming people. There are a few nice hotels on the doorstep to have a drink in the evening.
Highly recommended as a place to stay, the owners are lovely - very friendly and helpful and kindly let us stay on for a later check out as we had an evening flight. This was much appreciated! Thank you!

This place i will visit again definetely. Beautiful view, very kind and helpfull local people , apartments are near the beaches, which are really clear and nice. 200 m from the apartment you can rent a car, and make some trip (I recommend Elafonissi)...You can use herbs from the garden / in front of house/ for the cooking for exapmle. You dont need to take a mat on the beach because all of apartments have avaliable own... Everything is perfect :) Enjoy your holiday

Beautiful family run business with little comfortable fully furnished apartments. We had a great few days away. The sea view and enchanting smells of the vegetation all around made it ideal for a romantic and relaxing stay.
