I`ll try to be as honest as i can. The hotel is very nice with a team of very dedicated staff keeping it running smoothly on a day to day basis. Every member of staff are a credit to the hotel. Our room 216 overlooked the sea in the distance, it was clean, basic and well maintained. The aircon worked well, safety box you had to pay extra for but well worth it. The food was always hot , plentiful and tasty so no issues there unless you are a very fussy eater. The all inclusive package was worth it in my opinion. The hotel guests were from around the world but lots of German and Russian guests, some polite some not so. I have never stayed at a hotel where there were more sunbeds than spaces to put them so it was always crammed around the pool and the usual `towels on them but NO show ALL day from guests who had reserved them, because of this we used the beach which was 5 mins walk away. The pool gets very deep very quickly. I`m not sure if this hotel would be good with people with walking disibilities due to lots of steps of slopes. The area around the hotel has kept some of it`s old rustic charm so no screaming mopeds racing around the streets. There was a lovely typical Cretan restaurant directly opposite the front of the hotel called ` O Nikolas` serving traditional food which was to die for, very reasonable, fab staff and great atmosphere. Thanks Alexander House Hotel for a nice relaxing week.

Had the most amazing holiday at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating and lovely. The hotel offers an amazing pool, gym, child friendly and 2 minute walk to the beach. It is perfect location to beach shops cafe and the airport and also a water park only half hour away. I highly recommend this hotel and the owners are accommodating to your needs and so friendly . The food and drink is excellent and the place feels like home. It really was a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back again. Thank you holiday was amazing!!!! 🌞🌞🌞🌞

I have just spent a week at this hotel, from the moment I arrived I was made feel very welcomed, I arrived nearly at midnight, the kitchen was close, however, the prepared q light bite for me which was very nice. I was then shown my bedroom for the week (537)... and WOW! Super new, super clean, very pretty. A few steps from the beach, simply perfect for me. I loved every minute of my stay there, every single member of the staff was always very special, friendly, warm. The food choice is incredible, the chef excellent. We have different choice of food every day, there was even “gluten free” food available. I am not a beer girl but the Greek option they have was so delicious that I found myself drinking beer more than I normally do. The selection of drinks is wide and also includes white and red wine. The Greek night is a must! I had so much fun. !!!! Thank you so much, I highly recommend this hotel and its people. :)

Stayed here for a week as a solo traveller. Thankfully I didn’t read the reviews before I came otherwise I may have been worried! Had a very pleasant time. My room was clean and practical, if a little worn in places however nothing that would upset me given the price I paid. The maids make up the room daily and replenish towels as often as you need which was great. The pool bar and pizza bar are open 10-6pm every day and are nice. Pizza is freshly made throughout the day and varies in toppings which was great. The evening bar is well hosted with a good range of products. Only beer, wine, raki and ouzo as well as soft drinks are available on all inclusive and I have to admit they weren’t the best quality. You can, however, for a couple of euros pay extra for cocktails or spirits so that worked out fine for me. The beach is less than a 5 min walk and very clean with beautifully clear water and a range of bars and restaurants on the sea front. There is a mini market around the corner from the hotel for any essentials you may need as well as plenty of places down in Agia Pelagia. The food was pretty standard but decent enough to keep you topped up. The salad bar and dessert range was brilliant though! I would definitely come here again if I was looking for a holiday on a budget 😊

I read mixed reviews before booking this hotel but have just had an enjoyable 2 week stay. This hotel is in a lovely location with the beach being a 5 minute walk away. It's a very narrow stretch of sand so gets really crowded but lovely clear waters. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel sits up slightly higher than the town over looking the bay so very picturesque view. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive. The food was good, fresh and plenty of choice. It was very clean but some areas looked a little tired and worn but nothing out of the usual for most hotels. There isn't any entertainment which can make the evenings a little boring and quiet although most guests went to the bar where music is playing. There was one Greek night arranged during our stay but you had to pay 18 euros to join in. Very little alcohol is included in the AI...only wine, beer, raki & ouzo so not a lot of choice. There are very few British guests staying at this hotel but lots of other nationalities. The Wifi isn't free as is advertised in hotel description. It costs 15 euros for a week or 3 euros per day. The A/C is inclusive of price. On the whole a good holiday
