Honestly such a great place for such a reasonable price! Rooms - The rooms are slightly smaller than the photos although still super nice and clean. It is a big hotel and some rooms do look to be better than others, we paid a little extra for a superior sea view and definitely think it’s worth doing so. Our views were amazing! The pool was freeeeeezing but is actually nice once you brave it. All inclusive - good selection of drinks and there’s extra cocktails available from 6.30. The free cocktails are basic but you can pay extra for mojitos / pina colanas etc. There’s a good selection of food and I did love the breakfast. The evening meals are pretty standard, but again for the price you can’t complain. We ended up eating down the front 3 or 4 times but had always planned to do that. Location - perfect! It was around a 10-15 min walk down to Agia Pelagia but totally worth it for the views!! We really didn’t mind the walk at all, but the hotel do run a shuttle if needed. Agia Pelagia beach can get quite busy but is lovely, and there’s loads of restaurants on the front. Make sure you explore round the left side of cove, amazing views and crystal clear water. You can also go down to Lygaria beach which is slightly closer, this is again beautiful but much quieter, and only a handful of restaurants. Again explore up the left side and you can get to the Greece flag, amazing views looking back! We didn’t realise for a couple of days, but if you go through the hotel passed the second longer pool and bridge, there’s a route which takes you down to the supermarket which is the quickest way down to either beach. Overall a great place for an amazing price.

I visited Crete for the first time and was very happy with this choice of hotel. The number of guests was smaller than usual due to our late trip (October). What was good - very clean hotel. Food - very good choice and nice and hot. COVID control - very good. Bed - comfy. Maid service - every other day. Cats - love 'em Swimming pools - Excellent, especially the long thin pool which must be over 50m long, super for swimming lengths (and hardly used) Hotel staff - super friendly and nice. Rooms - we had room 746 which was lovely. Nice and big and an excellent shower. However - initially we had a room close to reception with better views - but this was massively spoilt by the very noisy DJ who decked up around 21:00 to midnight. My friends and I really were not happy with this. Fortunately the reception team moved our rooms immediately - the '700' rooms are well away from this noise and in fact were perfect and quiet at night. If we visit again, these would be the rooms for us. We hired a car as part of our package and this hotel is just over 20min from Heraklion airport. Parking is free and fine at the hotel (not sure of busier times though). I and my wife really enjoyed our week here, and would book again. Many thanks also to Irene on reception for letting us keep our room on the free, as we had a very late flight back home on our last day!! Adams hints - take some mozzy spray and bite cream. I would recommend this hotel. We were all inclusive.
