While the hotel looks impressive, its only redeeming quality is its proximity to the sea and the dinner menu. Cleanliness was so-so and the bed quite uncomfortable. The building facade looked quite dilapidated in need of serious renovation

Threadbare rugs and carpets in public parts, non functioning bathroom basin plug, reception unattended at 8 a.m, a general air that they are struggling to hold this beautifully situated place together. As against that all the staff we met were charming, friendly and willing to help if they could. The worst thing was the restaurant - the food is dreadful....

Some hotels age gracefully. They express a patina that adds to their charm, despite being well beyond their finest years. The pictures of this hotel give the impression that this is such a place. It is not. Staff were not present when we arrived at noon although the door was unlocked. Nor was there any note of explanation. We wandered...

Set in a lovely ground. Independent hotel, still retains a sort of later years feel, excellent welcome, we had a standard room ,nice and clean , excellent showers , and a warm room ( was a cold January )! Tv ,wifi , the restaurant was closed during the low season, but a few minutes away you had plenty of choices....

Location is wonderful and at one time the hotel must have been lovely. Visited with my mother, and fortunately she upgraded to two front facing balcony rooms. They were fine. I know others were less fortunate. It is three weeks since my return and I am still very angry about both the quality of food and my experience of Saturday...

Dear Philg802, Further to your comment, we first regret the bad experience you had and please know the restaurant recently changed his menus for SAGA Group related to the agency. Despite of the fact that the wedding you mentionned was unusual because it happened at the restaurant, we deeply regret you have been disturbed by the noice. This situation was...

We also made the big mistake of coming to this hotel with Saga. The position, pool and grounds are lovely but the hotel is not. The food was appalling off a 2 choice menu on a very cheap budget, what they did to vegetables was a crime and fried potato balls YUK!!. This hotel has faced years and years of...

The hotel sits in a very pleasant garden, with lawns, trees and an outdoor swimming pool in season. It is only 200yards from the sea. The public rooms are pleasant ,although the lounge area can get very crowded. The hotel is let down by small bedrooms in need of redecoration, and poor food. It is understaffed and we waited for 40 minutes...

I found all the staff at this hotel were devoted to their guest's pleasure. Always happy, smiling, in particular the reception staff. Almost all spoke good English. Our food was good with two menus each evening. HOWEVER, the fabric of the hotel requires a total refurbishment. Our double bedroom was small, our first bedroom even smaller. A large dirty stain...

The grounds and the views are lovely but sadly this was the only positive thing about the hotel. The room was dirty, the ceiling had caved in in one area and the carpet was badly patched up. The food was also very poor, there were only two options for the evening meal and they were both of poor quality. We...

Dear Jess431, We first want to thank you for having chosen the GRAND HÔTEL LES LECQUES for your holidays in south of France. We deeply regret to learn that you have been disappointed. As you noticed, even if our building is old from 1890, a lot of refurbishment works have been done in the commons spaces and our rooms (20...
