Our cycling tour company (44|5 Cycling Tours) has used Auberge du Vin several times to house our clients. The location is perfect, with a stunning view north to Mont Ventoux, and surrounded on all sides by fields and vineyards. Although very quiet, the Auberge is only minutes from the village of Mazan and Carpentras, the main town in the area....

I should have given an example of how friendly and helpful Linda and Chris are; their facility, as its name suggests is wine oriented and does that very well. I told them I was a beer drinker and since that's outside the norm for them I'd be happy to pay for beer but I was supplied lots of good beer...

My wife and I just had a few days with Linda and Chris at Auberge Du Vin. I'm a bit of a wine geek and Linda started us off with a very informative tasting of the wines of the Southern Rhone Valley. We were fortunate to visit during the harvest and Linda took us to a couple of the local...

I love going to the Auberge du Vin. It is in an amazing setting, surrounded by vineyards with Mount Ventoux as a backdrop. Linda and Chris's converted farmhouse is also idyllic. We stayed in very comfortable ensuite rooms with the use of a guests' sitting room downstairs. We ate outside under the wisteria-covered canopy with twinkling lights after dusk. On...

One of the best experience I've ever had in Europe! The owners are an English couple that treat you like you're part of the family. Homemade dinner, breakfast under a beautiful tree, wine experts... A very calm place, with an amazing view. Definitely will come back!

It has been 2 weeks since or stay at Auberge du Vin and I just can't stop thinking about the experience. Tony Bennett may have left his heart in San Francisco, but I left my heart right there. The setting is very beautiful and it is only enhanced by the hosts. Linda and Chris are so welcoming and hospitable it...

We have now stayed three times. Linda and Chris are outstanding hosts; charming, friendly and always going the extra mile to be helpful. We have stayed in the Gîte and self-catered and also stayed in their lovely rooms in the house, both are fab. A wine lesson from Linda is where you can learn an enormous amount in a very...

We booked the Auberge du Vin for our daughter's wedding. It is a glorious place and the perfect setting for a wedding. Linda and Chris could not have been more helpful and from the start, their calm and friendly presence influenced us all. They were always quietly in the background, there to help if we needed them. We could not...

Stepping down from the Eurostar carriage at the Avignon TGV station, the visitor is immediately met with a blast of all-enveloping warmth from the midday sun, and a huge expanse of perfectly azure-blue sky. They find it hard to believe that only a few hours before they were sitting in the 7.15am train at St Pancras station, bound for Marseilles....
