Stayed one night en route to Calais. Quietly but handily placed on the outskirts of Eu (which has little to recommend it) and a short drive to Le Treport, which has more interest. We had our dog, and the grounds of the hotel were good for a place to give him some exercise. The room was quiet and clean; the... More

Overall very good and the bedroom was excellent although sound proofing could have been better. Unfortunately the staff couldn't speak English and so were unable to tell us the best places to eat as promised in the email - it was Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed. All in all, a very handy place and more up market place... More

We stayed here for two nights with friends. Rooms and beds comfortable. Quiet location outside Eu. Took us 20 mins down to the town but no proper footpath most of the way. Receptionist said there was no-where to eat but we found a pleasant bar and separate restaurant open. Breakfast is completely self service but there was more than adequate... More

Pleasantly situated, well appointed, comfortable and good value for money. The staff are helpful and the service is excellent. This is our third stay and we have not been disappointed to date. It is a good base from which to travel around the sights of the northern part of Normandy,

My wife and I stayed one night as part of a group visiting the area. As there was no availability of normal rooms we had to book a superior room at €115. I'm not sure why it was "superior" as it seemed a pretty standard room to me. The room was pleasant and clean, the bathroom too. The separate toilet... More

We really liked this hotel. Its location, though on a main road, has lovely views of the countryside and the rooms are quiet. We liked the design as well - it looked as though (originally) it was a farm, and the barn had been converted into the bedrooms. It wasn't "modern" - and we liked that a lot. We would... More

This is a great over-night place if you are visiting Eu, Mers Le Bain etc. There is ample parking space and the rooms are very clean and neatly maintained. The bathrooms too are sufficiently large. The breakfast at Zanzibar is sumptuous and the spread is much better than expected. Overall a very happy place to rest ones head over the... More

we have stayed overnight at this hotel en route to the port three years running. Whereas the hotel and grounds are most pleasant, the Reception efficiency is poor where you can be kept waiting by an empty desk for 5 minutes or more, the Zanzibar opens as and when they feel like it and the staff have a generally sullen... I got off to a bad start with this one because I thought it was in Dieppe, as is indicated in the Trip Advisor. Actually, it's almost 30 km away from Dieppe in a place called Eu (as I discovered when I asked for directions in Dieppe!!). But it turned out OK because Dieppe was packed with people (even though...
