Nice hotel with a central location in the main street. Modern and spacious rooms and the beds were so big and comfortable! A good patissery and a bar close to the hotel. We also had a very nice walking tour in the valley.

Arrived having cycled from Porto. We were "warned" re exterior, which is a bit faded, entrance down alleyway into building. Very pleasantly surprised by interior and rooms, large traditional and quite cool despite extremely high outside temperatures. Apparently outside of building not owned by the same folk who own the interior, hence the mismatch. Helpful staff, right in centre of...

We were there one night in May. This hotel was a really good choice: it wasn't too far from station (ok, you have to go uphill, but it isn't unbearable) and in the heart of Corte. The room was ready when we arrived (before noon). Our room was big and clean and so was the bathroom. At reception the young...

We were a group of 5 hikers looking to explore the mountains and gorges in central Corsica. Corte is the ideal location for this and the Hotel du Nord was a perfect place to stay for our trip. The manager, Loic, was really helpful in advising us on different hiking options - he has great local knowledge of the mountains...

Central location on main Street, first floor & upwards. Our room comfortable, but overhead fan may not be able to cool room at height of summer heat. Breakfast in ground floor restaurant was self serve, good selection for France! We did not have car or bike, only backpacking.

I've stayed here three times for a total of seven days. Corte is the place to stay on central Corsica. Hotel has central location. Well-maintained. Comfortable rooms. Excellent one euro breakfast in bar next door. One minor negative is disco behind hotel - lots of bass vibration on Thursday night/Friday morning when the university is in session. Otherwise, very quiet....

The Hotel du Nord is situated on the main commercial street in Corte, adjacent to restaurants, shops, and various landmarks. The rooms are modern, attractive, large, comfortable, clean, and quite. Due to the good window insulation there is no street noise. The owner is on hand providing friendly personal service with luggage, breakfast, and general local information. Parking was not...

Hello and thank you for those lovely words. In a few words, you give us a good resume of what we propose to our customers. Freshly and renovated rooms, soundproofs efforts, friendly recommandations and advices.... we are not a luxury hotel, and don't pretend to be...the hotel is just like us... and we're glad you felt the same..thanks a lots....

Quite a walk from the railway station, partly up a steep hill. No taxi rank at the Station, merely numbers to ring. A further stiff climb to tourist information in the Citadel – more basic tourist information at the Hotel would have been helpful. Otherwise, the hotel is well situated in a main shopping street close to the town centre...

We stayed here for one night as part of a hiking trip around Corsica. The hotel is located right in the center of Corte with great access to shops and cafes. it is also an easy (10 minute) walk up to the trail access for the Vallee du Tavignanu. Our room faced the main street and was very nice, clean,...

We stayed two nights and were happy with our room and the Hotel staff. The arrangement for Breakfast in the Cafe below left something to be desired as they seemed to ration coffee and other food items. The reason became obvious on the second morning when we found the group of hikers staying at the same time had devoured a...
