Stayed here with 4 pals as part of a motorcycle tour. What a find ! Secure parking for our bikes, clean comfortable rooms. Toilets are designed to have no seats, which can be a chilly shock but they are spotless. Very good restaurant serving good value local dishes. The owner could not have been more welcoming. I would definitely stay...

I visited this hotel with a group of bikers. Having read the reviews I was intrigued but now, after staying, I must say I was more than happy. For those that prefer places in line with the UK norm you would be better off elsewhere - the patron and staff have very limited English. They will fetch their English speaking...

a well situated family run hotel in a town blighted by its geographic location re historical wars. the is where the entire german army entered france in 1939. the hotel is perfectly decent with clean, well appointed rooms and a fascinating mural on one of the ground floor walls depicting the old town prior to its partial destruction. we did...

Stayed here early November because the Chateau nearby said they were full. My friends were staying at the Chateau (which is lovely) and I couldn't get in, and this is literally a 2 minute walk away. First things first. Turned up and the guy doesn't speak a word of English. Okay, so we're in France but there's a huge Union...

We spent one night at St Michel. We came to the area to see and pay tribute to a member of our family who was tragically shot down in the second world war. He was only 19. His war grave was in a local village near by. We found the owners very friendly. The rooms were clean with a great...

Sedan is not an upscale town and the Le Saint-Michel was a decent place to spend the night. It is located directly across from "the fort" which is largest fort in Europe and near the tourist office. Decent sized rooms but in a part of town where everyone is out in the street until an hour after sundown so it...

Eight biker friends travelled together to explore the Ardenne. The hotel provided excellent locked undercover parking for bikes. The location is good to enable visits to the regions sights as well as being a reasonable ride to the Nurburgring. The town is light on evening entertainment but the hotel has a good restaurant and bar of its own.

“If the lack of bog seats bothers you bring some disposable covers like those provided on long haul flights (along with a phrase book!). The car park is an open yard - park your car/bike away from the walls as pigeons roost there.”
