Stayed at this hotel for 7 days, all inclusive. We have been in all-inclusive in the Caribbean and Mediterranean (Greece and Turkey). This hotel is small, but it had everything that we needed for a quiet and enjoyable vacation. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food: only one buffet restaurant, not a big selection, but the food is fresh and delicious. It’s not repetitive. From breakfast to dinner, from entrees to desserts. We enjoyed every single day. Room: they were small and little outdated, but we didn’t mind as we didn’t spend much time in the room. Rooms facing the sea were beautiful but could be noisy, specially if guests stayed up late by the hotel bar. We switched to a quieter room facing the mountain on the first floor on our 3rd day. We slept much better after that. Beach: this was our favorite part of the hotel. The small but very private beach. It was not crowded. Water was very clean and only one motor boat going to the island twice a day, so on some days, we had the beach almost to ourselves. Overall we were pleased with this hotel. If you like a quiet, simple place to relax, this would be the perfect hotel.

This was a holiday booked by my children as a surprise for my 10th wedding anniversary. Not sure how it can be classed as a three star? Very average and run down. I have attached pictures of the ‘garden view’ which I upgraded to! Looks very much like a car park to me. Complained about the room but they said that they wouldn’t move us and that it’s not important as we wouldn’t spend much time in it anyway. There doesn’t appear to be any facilities for older children other than a pool. Checked out after two nights but hotel are refusing to offer any refund. The only plus points are the staff are nice and breakfast was more than I was expecting. Resort is very quiet and we would’ve been very isolated if we hadn’t hired a car. Downside of having a car was the fact that we had difficulty finding a parking space. Probably why the overflow car park appeared to be outside our window. I have also attached a picture of the balcony which was very unappealing.

SUMMARY - stayed 10 days in September with glorious weather. Hotel has potential as it occupies a prime position with great views and perhaps the best stretch of beach in the area. However, the hotel is shabby (we understand it's due for a refurbishment) and currently the pictures on its website and those of booking companies show the hotel in over-favouable light and are misleading. Rooms are small and cramped; food is just adequate but repetitive and bland. The main problem was the hotel was overrun by large organised groups of between 12 and 50+ in number who monopolised the place with little regard for any "outsiders". As a result, meal times were stressful, the hotel was always noisy and sunbeds were all taken. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR COUPLES at this time of year and suggest the hotel and booking companies should make clear the group booking policy to warn others. We should not have stayed here and whilst Reception staff and management were sympathetic when we raised our concerns they seemed powerless to do anything about them. ROOM - unattractive, small, cramped with tiny shower room and insufficient storage. Our room had a 3rd single bed making it so small there was only room for 1 bedside cabinet and we had to use the 3rd bed for storing clothes (pic attached). The shower was crudely botched with mastic and covered in mould (pic attached) but at least the hot water was always instant and plentiful, FACILITIES ETC - great views and nice grounds; water in pool was always clean (although tiles on the outside of the pool were hanging off); staff were generally friendly and hardworking (especially Ivan in the bar, Mate in the dining room and all the smiley cleaning staff). The main problem was the hotel was full of large groups (pic attached of 2 huge coaches which delivered such groups) who all stuck together, swarmed into meals at the earliest opportunity (barging past anyone not in their group) taking all the tables (there were no tables for couples) and the best food (food was not adequately topped up so would run out or be cold and congealed if we tried to arrive when the crowds had dispersed). We ended up eating our last few dinners in a local restaurant despite having paid for full board. The large groups even organised their own entertainment, including discos and dances to the exclusion of other guests and "reserved" all the sunbeds overnight or by 6.30am at the latest (pic attached of all sunbeds taken by 7am) even though they often only used the beds for a short time in late afternoon after their daytime activities had finished. Website pics show sunbeds with parasols on the beach but all spare beds except those around the pool were chained up and there were no parasols to be seen.

For the money I paid, for the location I would give this hotel 5 stars, however there are 2 minuses: 1. Food to cold and always over cooked. On a plus side, it’s always diverse and lots of salads to choose from 2. Advised from reception that the only way to get to the hotel was a taxi that would cost 150 euros. After calling and insisting in getting more information, I was told about a bus that would be available, but quite a bit of a hassle. I found myself through some web research this Korkyra agency which charged £30 euros per person and we were picked up and dropped off just outside the hotel. A special thank you for the housekeeping team. Always helpful and with a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much for them. Big well done! Overall a very nice stay and I would recommended Orsan hotel. But please don’t expect more than 3 stars. They’re good for the stars they got. Thank you.
