Didn't stay in the hotel as our family only live 12km from here but came over twice in 10 days for lunch. THE most wonderfull salad Nicoise I have ever had with freshly grilled tuna steak, my husbands grilled chicken was faultless .... and the price is so reasonable ....100% sure we will be back ....

This hotel is located right in the heart of Kromeriz, on "The Large Square", which means short distance walk to all the main attractions of the city. Castle is right across the square and is AMAZING! Anyway, the hotel has two floors of rooms, but we are still speaking of about 20 rooms. I had a view to the back yard, which is not nice, but who has a view to the Square side, might be more satisfied. Rooms are renovated as the whole hotel, with decent "baroco style" wall papers and nice, but very small bathroom and lavatory in one place. Lcd TV with RC, small fridge and trezor included. All worked as it should. Restaurant is in the same style, i was told owner is fan of antiquities, so there are also some nice paintings and pieces of furniture there, which nicely combines with the same type of wall paper on rooms as on restaurant, which is placed opposite front desk (reception). Food was ok and bartender Tereza was very friendly, but professional too. Big screen in golden baroco frame makes it strangely connected with other antiquities also placed to the restaurant. Prices might be slightly higher for people Staff is definitely very friendly and helpful, which add even more value. All over, i liked the stay and once i am in Kromeriz, i would be definitely staying in the same place.

We stopped for a cup a tea and light dinner. Restauran is nice, there is a good athmosphere. Everything was clean. Food was good. Toilet is clean. I think it could be nice place for wedding. Not overpriced.

Had a room overlooking the square with a view of the Archbishop's Palace. In February this was fine. In summer, you might want to trade the view for a little less noise and a room at the back. The service at the Hotel Boucek was lovely - really friendly and helpful receptionists. The breakfast was generous and the recently refurbished restaurant with its chandeliers makes you feel very special. The restaurant also serves Pilsner Urquell, for those who are interested in that sort of thing. The rooms at all hotels on or near the main square in Kromeriz are quirky, as the buildings are all Renaissance, but they are tastefully furnished. The shower was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. Altogether a lovely spot from which to explore Kromeriz and the surrounding area. The hotel even organised a reliable taxi service from Ostrava airport to the hotel on the evening we arrived, and to the station on the day we left. The train and bus stations were within easy walking distance. It's also worth mentioning that the rates for bed and breakfast are extremely reasonable. Generally in Kromeriz you can live like royalty for budget prices.

If you are looking for a place for romantic stay, take a wedding apartment when the city is with snow - amazing view from the window, queen-size bath, stylish furnish. The city has beautiful chateau (UNESCI site) with gardens and small zoo. It is really worth to stay there.

Excellent position facing the marvellous square of Kromeriz. Receptionists speak very well english and rooms are clean and tiny. Unfortunately i was here during the restaurant renovation, so i couldn't taste its food. It's a very relaxing hotel because there is no noise. Bathroom is small but clean.

We arrived late and without a reservation. Front desk was very helpful and gave us couple of options for rooms. We choose the business apartment which had lots of room and a great view of the square. Their restaurant was being remodel, so we were told to go across the street for breakfast which was included in the rate. To our surprise the breakfast was a amazing! best breakfast we had during our 10 day trip. Wifi was also included but the signal was weak. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is somewhat strange for the 4 stars at the front. Next to the reception is an exchange desk which queue extends in the front of the stairs to the rooms. The front rooms are nice and spacious but they seem not to understand to make good use of space. The wardrobe stood in the entrance aisle where light was controlled by motion sensor. So you stood in the dark again after a few seconds. Next to the aisle was another spacious room which would have solved the problem. The bath was spacious but the used china was small so cumbersome to use. And no space to leave your things. There is no hairdryer which is a must for 4 stars. The worst is the breakfast which is served in the so called restaurant which has an appearance of a socialist workers canteene. There is only a fiixed selection of menue items you can choose from and you can choose only one and there is only one cup of coffee included in the voucher you get at reception for your breakfast, which you have to ask each day again. Best thing was the view from the room over the main square to the castle. But that your have also from the hotel next to this. So if you accept a 3 star room with a 1-2 star service for a 4 star price this hotel may be your choice.

This beautiful hotel is situated in the centre of Kromeriz. The staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are a good side with comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom with excellent shower. There was no air conditioning in our room, so the room was quite hot at night.
