This year we have planned to visit other countries, but the virus changed our plans. We stayed home for a long time until finally we decided to go on a short holiday, to stay at the beach and enjoy the seaside. Bulgaria is among the countries that is not asking for a test like Greece is doing, or some other countries. We made our plans quickly and we booked directly to the hotel- the apartment. They replied very fast and the rates for half board were OK. We arrived at the hotel by noon. We parked our car right near the hotel. 7 leva/day. I was happy to leave the car there and we did not move it during our staying. There are not many parking spaces in Sozopol and we did not want to end up having our car picked up. The check in is made at 14 o'clock. We had time until our apartment was prepared, to eat at the restaurant of the hotel. We have tried fish soup and pizza. Both were very good. The apartment was big, a lot of space. We had 2 large balconies with sea view. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and very bright. There is a sink in the living, glasses, electric kettle and coffee cups. There is also a medium size fridge where you can store something if you want. The sofa and the beds were very comfortable. We slept very well. Pillows are a little flat, though. We had a medium size bathroom with shower. Rooms were cleaned every day. The towels were changed each time we asked for. There is a drying suport on the balcony. The aircon was working very well- even is a centralized system-each room had it's own aircon. Breakfast and dinner are good. In order to follow rules for Covid 19, guests are split in several groups so there are not a lot of tourists on the same time at the table. For breakfast we had eggs, cheese, all sort of meat products, pastries, cakes, fruits. Coffee was among the best I have had in a hotel. For dinner we had meat, pasta, salads, fish, potatoes. Fruits and cakes. The water melon was very tasty. Everything was served by the waiters behind the plastic glass. They were wearing masks and plastic gloves. What I did not like was the fact that they did not provide you cutlery unless you asked for it. Sometimes I forgot to ask for them and I had to return to stay at the queue again to ask for cutlery. Also there are two persons a boy and a girl that had some sour faces and they were not very kind. The rest of the personel was kind and smiling. The pool is OK in size. There are enough sun beds for the guests. Beach was very close. 5 minutes away. We had sea calm for 2 days and 2 other days we had big waves. We could not swim. I do not know if we were unlucky or it is how the sea is usually here. Nobody wrote something about it or I could not find anything about the subject. We have visited old Sozopol almost each day. We took the taxi- someone from the hotel ask the taxi for us. Price is 12 leva - from hotel to Old Town. I have enjoyed every minute we spent in Miramar.

The hotel was nice, not one of the cheapest to be honest but we had a good time. Car park was on a left field, and there was no guard at evenings and night but they charged us like 8 lev a day the same, beaches are nice and Sozopol is not far, all well, also the swimming pool was nice. Some guests from Russia were unpolite but this is not an Hotel responsability, it can happen, ignorance... We were charged 2 lev because we asked some ketchup along with the fries (we had half board), host told the ketchup is not included in the restaurant, this si ridiculous and made me lauhgh and think how poor that host should have been in mentality, with a bill of € 1000 you askd me 2 lev for a bit of ketchup ? Get back to planet earth...

This was our second time in this hotel. This place is perfect . Location is 2 min from the beach . Food is very good . Rooms are big and clean . Pool was clean and warm . The only minus - they don’t have parking .

Our vacation here was an unexpected one. Their good services made us to appreciate this place, a lot. The room was clean and with a great view to the pool. The food was great, with a lot of variety of dishes and the stuff was very polite. A big plus also to their manager that is very nice, in the middle of the people always with a smile on her face. I think that this makes a difference from other places. The beach is near hotel and was perfect for our stay. We enjoy a relaxing vacation here. Thank you!

The hotel is lacking attention to detail and needs to improve on the basics. Pro's: -Good size room + balcony. -Clothes horse provided. -AirCon in the room. -Towell's at poolside provided. -Great size fridge although it mentions mini bar items however it was never stocked.... Cons: -No Iron / board and no kettle provided. - There is no safe in the room which I believe should be mandatory for a 4 star hotel. You have to pay extra... -We were disappointed with the cleaning of the room. The bed sheets had stains on them- they never got replaced by the staff so we had to ask for them to be changed which we shouldn't have to do. The bathroom supplies were never replenished. Our beds were not made up and the bathroom facilities were not cleaned. I got the impression that they went in and maybe put the mop around and that's about it. -There was one morning when we had no hot water in the hotel, these things happen however the way it was handled by staff was poor. In addition there was a separate day where we had no water and there was no communication from the staff. Advising they were dealing with some "planned" maintenance...best to inform everyone the.. -The hot food provided at breakfast and dinner this was often cold when collecting. -No soundproofing anywhere. You could hear your neighbours in all their glory. Would recommend the local area for a relaxing holiday and if the hotel just made some improvements as per above then this would be a winner.
