Stayed here recently and really enjoyed everything about the resort. Really handy to get to Sozopol, the hotel run a small road train service. A fabulous complex with swimming pools, restaurants, sports and wellbeing facilities. Loved it’s close proximity to two beaches too. Everything within easy walking distance. Great buffet breakfast and attentive staff. Felt spoilt here and excellent value for money! Meals cheaper in Sozopol as is usual in resorts - UK prices or a little cheaper in restaurants on the complex. Drinks so cheap! We could feast like kings when out for evening meal in Sozopol. Beautiful country with lots of greenery and mountains too - well worth a visit! We will be back ☺️!

Very nice location and fantastic beach just down the road. Taxis and trains are easy to use and cheap. We were lucky that our rooms were in walking distance, if they had been any further it would be difficult to walk. Make sure you read the small signs on the mirrors to ensure you get fresh towels. Disappointed that the beds were not changed or made all week or floors swept. Had a really good deal booking 2 weeks before arriving, however really disappointed at the price we have had to pay for a late checkout which equates to almost the cost of one adult for an entire week. For anyone needing a late checkout be aware of this in advance. We were given two different prices for the late checkout and then told we were having this at a discount! Lovely food within the resort and at very reasonable prices for a family of 5. Make sure you look around at places to eat to get the best deals. Overall very pleased with our holiday and the resort, just disappointed with the overinflated price for a late checkout.

Santa Marina Holiday Village offers a relaxing vacation, but not only that but also exhilarating activities to choose from such as, windsurfing and swimming. There are multiple cafés and even golf carts to transport you from location to location (within the resort). The villas are clean and the floors are mopped everyday and they change the soap as soon as you finish it. When we are in the villa the cleaner does a great job at mopping all of the floors and everything to a satisfactory level, however when we are out of the villa the cleaners do a half- decent job. The swimming pools are clean and there are plenty dotted around the resort. Staff are friendly and they don’t fail to make the holiday a special occasion. Overall, Santa Marina holiday village offers an enjoyable experience for your holiday to Sozopol.

We spent a week here in June 2019. The setting is very beautiful and a great safe place for young families. We are a very fit “older” couple and found the climb up to our apartment block very challenging as the steps are very steep & numerous with very poor lighting in darkness. The swimming pools are lovely, pretty and spacious, plenty of small pools for the children also. I would recommend that you beware when eating at the Apollina Restaurant, we ordered a small steak and was charge 144 lev - that just for the steak (£72) with salad and 2drinks the bill was 171 lev as apparently they charge by the weight of the steak - so beware when ordereding. The food was delicious though so we’ve put it down to experience! The accommodation was adequate but not 4 star. The view from the balcony was almost perfect - except for the huge conifer blocking most of it(room 303). I’ve given 3 stars based on the fact that information was not provided when little train was not running to schedule & the basic facilities in the room, otherwise I think the village itself was very nice.

This is a very well organised and we believe secure site. It is verblarge with most of the properties owned by private owners, Bulgarian/Russian/Ukrainian/etc. Four or five pools, several restaurants, two superettes, several other non-food shops. Very nice gardens and planting. Only slow electric buggies on main site. Mostly very well maintained, staff polite. Would be excellent for young families.... but for all visitors, do get off-site; the local town is very attractive, much more to see and do in local area. Many lovely views, walks restaurants. The little train is very useful.
