It was big plesure stay in appartment 2 days. Under the appartment is great restaurant. View from balcony was the best. Everythink is really close by the walk and owners take care about your comfort everyday

This house is beautiful, located right above the sea on the cliff beach of the old part of Sozopol. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and would do their best to make your stay really pleasurable. The bedroom we stayed in had a cosy retro setting and a balcony with a direct view of the sea and the cliffs. The room has everything you need and is impeccably clean. It is very quiet, you hear only the sound of the waves and that is simply hypnotic. We had a truly relaxing holiday!

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at , with the most breathtaking views over the Black Sea to St Ivan’s island . Situated in the beautiful old town part of Sozopol this house is built in the traditional style & the attention to detail in the decor shows how much this family love Sozopols heritage and take pride in their guesthouse . Paid €1300 for “deluxe” apartment to get: 1) POO smell in the bedroom & apartment as sewage system is old & owners don’t invest into fixing. 2) Fireplace which is advertised for the room in description & facilities cannot be used. 3) Paid 2 weeks of designated parking upfront to arrive and see our spot is busy with another guest’s car. 4) Owners refuse to admit poo smell & fireplace ban is an issue, and loads of our vacation time goes into attempts to sort this out with them. 5) I don’t even mention showering over the toilet for €1300/2 weeks as this is quite common in Bulgaria, though not for such money. 6) The drain hole had to be plugged with plastic bag to reduce the smell (still smells tho), and we had to shower on _another floor_ in a separate toilet room. 7) The owner advised us to spend more time on the beach in order not to smell the sewage in the “deluxe” apartment. 8) Owners changed rhetoric to “fireplace can only be lit by our staff” after we informed them we’ll move to another place. But imagine a romantic evening for a couple at 11PM where staff stays in your room to lit up the fireplace. 10) Our honeymoon trip was fully ruined by this poo-deluxe. Owners kept being arrogant & didn’t offer at least a discount for the troubles. 11) We had to quit this hotel and move to another hotel in Sozopol. With amazing big suite, sea view, perfect toilet/shower. And much-much cheaper. 12) After we complained to the booking website, the owner at least Oked to refund us the amount for the remaining days. 13) Stayed in 3 more hotels in Bulgaria during this trip - all were amazing, and owners were wonderful. 14) Several other reviews on booking website mention bad smell. 15) This was the first time ever i complained on booking website after numerous trips and hotel bookings.

Dear Alesya, thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and malicious review. First of all, let us make it clear that you paid 810 euro in all as you got a refund after modifying your reservation and staying five days less at the House ( instead of 14 days you spent 9 days here). There's been smell from the drain for may be a day or so and it is not because the sewage system is old or not taken care of (it was built in the 90s for your information) it's because the house is located right next to the sea and depending on the sea current some smell from the city's (not the house's) sewage system may occur. We sealed the drain at your request and were happy to provide you with another bathroom outside the premise. It is also worth pointing out that none of our other guests had issues with any smell from the sewage during the period of your stay. None of our staff or the owners of the place had advised you to spend more time at the beach. In fact, you seemed rather unwilling to communicate with any of us and rarely greeted anyone from the house so we don't remember having had any real conversation with you. The "fireplace ban" as you call it was a security issue for us. You somewhat omit to mention that you were kindly asked to not use the fireplace without the assistance of our staff as the one time you lit fire you had failed to turn on the button for the pump that keeps the pressure low. I believe you understand that failing to turn the pump on you had put our guests, including yourselves at risk of a serious incident! This I believe was clearly and politely explained to you. And of course, helping you to light the fireplace, does not involve us intruding on your privacy. We are afraid that the cited parking incident is again your interpretation of things. As you know we have one common parking spot opposite the house with no designated parking places. The problem that night, was that one of our guests had parked in your place leaving another spot empty which you did not like. In any case we rearranged the cars in such a way so as to provide you with a parking place to your liking. Once again, thank you for your review but we of course could not feel guilty for your "ruined honeymoon" as we believe we did everything we could to meet your complaints and demands. This is the first time any one of our guests had complained about this particular apartment. In fact, the place is fully booked for the peak season and is much in demand by our regular guests. This is a review only for the restaurant. Very good location with a spectacular view of the Black Sea. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. They were also extremely helpful, when it came to recommending dishes of the menu. Unfortunately, we ate only from the starters and salads, which were very good, but I can’t speak for the mains. All in all I would visit the place again.

Lovely room with large balcony above the seaside cliffs. Very good food on the restaurant and amazing view to the Black Sea wild cliffs. The hotel gives you a parking card (6 Leva/day). The public parking is not far away, only 200 meters on the east edge of the peninsula. Good choice staying here.

I discovered this cosy house on the cliffs two summers ago, and was happy to visit once again. Location is fantastic — you get the vibrant charms of Old Sozopol from one side, and the endless peace of the sea from the other. I loved my top floor room with big balcony, hanging above the rocky beach — best sunrise spot ever! Hosts are friendly and attentive, the restaurant downstairs serves delicious fresh mussels and cappuccinos and one can only wish to have more days to stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing beautiful place. Ewelina, the owner/manager of this charming little hotel is very friendly, pleasure to deal with. We planned this trip initially in June of 2020 but due to the pandemic we had to cancel, and Ewelina agreed to postpone our stay, and used our deposit of few hundred euros for June 2021, such a nice gesture of kindness. Beautiful place and excellent view to the sea - small old town and real nature on seaside with rocks and ancient archeologoical site. Comfortable house with traditional flair and contemporary service. The appartment has a view to the sea and small rocky islands and is cosy, seeing the sea and hearing wavesbreak. A good restaurant down, close to the seashore. Perfect holiday.

We have visited almost every restaurant in sozopol.this has been the best one so far in terms of waiters, quality of food, good music and excellent view. 11/10 as a review is not possible, but it should be - for this restaurant is the best in town.
