We've just returned from staying at the hotel Chuchulev and we,re so glad that we chose to stay here. The hotel is run by a lovely family who are so friendly. We stayed in a deluxe room, which didn't cost much extra, It was a huge room on the first floor and was immaculately clean. The hotel is in the new town with easy walking access to the Old Town. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Spotlessly clean, very friendly & helpful. A bit basic but great as a base. Air con in the rooms, tv & fridge. Breakfast not included but very central to beach, lots of great eating places & shops. 10 min walk to old town but right in the heart of new town. Recommend.

We visited Sozopol 8-13 June. Thanks to this hotel for our good holiday with my mother! Clear and light room on the 1st floor with balcony and wonderfull view! Many thanks to Mariya who help us with this room and did everything for my mother comfort. Harmani beach and central beach about 3-5 minutes. Tow tents with bakery 1 minutes. Fruits - 1 minutes. Bolero supermarket - 5-7 minutes. Old town about 10 minutes. Good and free wi-fi in the room - it was very important:) for us. Сharming garden on undergroud floor. Highly recommend Chuchulev to all who deсided visit Sozopol.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in the beginning of June. The weather was not hot, though mostly sunny, and the nights were rather chilly. Economy room 1A was in the semi-basement, and in such a weather dampness was felt within the room. Till floors added to that feeling. Though in the end of our stay, when the weather became warmer, it became better. The best thing about the hotel - friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were provided with a simple set of plates and cutlery at our request, were informed by the hostess where to change money, about the nearest shops, and whenever we needed some more information - they were ready to answer. We were also informed that if we want room service - it is enough to leave a key at the reception. It suited us perfectly - we were free to come and go at our pleasure and chose the time for the room to be serviced in our absence. There is no curfew, you have a set of keys from the room and the outer door. It was handy when you return late from an excursion. There was no balcony, but in the inner yard there were large pots with flowering plants, like a garden, and guests can sit there at the chairs by the small table, and also dry swimming suits on a rack. In the bathroom there is a shower, which you would like to use pretty often to wash off the fine sand from the beach - it is very pleasant to lie on, as it consists of tiny flecks from shells, but it sticks to the feet and everything else. The shower is without any curtain, there is just a drain in the tile floor. A cloth to wipe the floor may be handy. Plumbing worked perfectly, water was hot at any time, unlike in some other places we visited before in Greece or Turkey. The room is equipped with a fridge, a tv, and an electric kettle. Wifi worked fine throughout our stay, but if you need to charge your tablet or laptop while using it - then you'll need a longer cable - 2 meters - as the sockets are by the feet of the bed. It is just 5 minutes from the beach, you can buy fruit on the same street on the beach from a friendly couple.

We've spent 5 nights in this family hotel and this is the first time I've seen so strange attitude from a hotel owner. Towels are changed every second day and if you require housekeeping you need to leave your key. We understood that in the middle of the stay and even if i requested towels to be changed the owner refused the first time and said no. Besides that there is a very bad smell in the bathroom when the vent is on. Location is ok - 10 minutes from the beach and 10 -15 min from the old town. There is parking upon request, which is positive as there is an issue in general with the parking in Sozopolo. first 2 days the room was very small on the top floor, when we moved was OK. Fridge, AC, terrace and Free wi-fi in the room.
