This is a huge hotel in Elenite. It is also the noisest one 've ever been to. Its is very grand and the rooms are nicely decorated and very spacious, especially the family rooms. The staff were helpful (except at reception) and one rep was fantastic (Hugh) the others were useless. The food was good , beach and pool clean. Personally we all had a horrible holiday at this hotel but only because it is far too noisy from 10am until 11pm. Music blares all day and you cant escape it, not even on the beach or at the hotel royal bay further down the beach. If you love a lively holiday for the kids and laze around the pool and eat, you'll love it.. There is nowhere to go out, and the kids entertainment around the pool is like a butlins mini disco..everynight the same dances. my kids got fed up with the kids club after 2 visits. If you do go and you need sleep before 11.30 request a non sea view room around the back. Always go high up away from all the noise on ground levels. There is the usual early morning rise to save a sunbed (approx 7am is the latest for beachfront) beware of towels getting stolen off the beach though, the hotel were aware but its at your own risk otherwise very safe though. Thoroughly recommend the jeep safari, fantastic!! aqua park a great day too (take the bus) and we hired a car and drove up north to see all the sight as far as just before you get to the border. not much to see but great to escape the noise. hope this helps..

Have just returned today (2 July 2012) from a two week family holiday at the Royal Park Hotel in Elenite, Bulgaria. On arriving we were dazzled slightly by the entrance lobby of the hotel and the overall appearance, all sweeping staircases with lots of plush seating areas and cool tile floors. So far so good. We tried to check in and immediately came up against some rather arrogant guests (several russian ladies, but more about them later) who pushed in front of us to speak to the hotel receptionist. Rather than deal with us first and ask the said ladies to wait their turn they were dealt with first and we, and several others, getting more bedraggled and hungry by the second waited to finally get checked in. When eventually we did we were quickly taken up to our room by a friendly, enthusiatic porter. The room was clean if basic and had a lovely view of the beach. It was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels left daily. The maid was polite and friendly and always had a smile for us. The buffet restaurant was a big shock to us on our first night there and despite going back with an open mind the next day, hoping that it was just frayed nerves and tiredness affecting our feelings, it did not improve over the two weeks. I would go as far to say that it got continually worse over the two weeks to the point that all three of us began to dread mealtimes. The food was lukewarm at best, stone cold at worst. I stood to wait for a fresh batch of a pork and vegetable casserole one evening and when I took it back to the table it was freezing. This happened with several of the dishes I tried on several occasions over our holiday. Perhaps however the biggest problem in the restaurant was the other guests, namely the Russians mentioned earlier. They had absolutely no concept of queuing for anything or waiting patiently in general. They were obnoxious in their attitude to the other guests, pushing myself, my husband and in particular my 8 year old son out of the way regularly to get to the food. My son was actually knocked to the ground on more than one occasion as they pushed for food. When they did get to the food they would pile it sky high on plates, leaving little for anyone else. My husband queued for almost 30 minutes one morning just to get pancakes for breakfast. He gave up eventually as the Russian guests kept pushing in and taking everything as fast as the chefs could make them. Mealtimes are not a pleasant experience at this hotel and by the end of the holiday the restaurant was almost manic with people pushing and literally fighting for food...not my idea of a relaxing, all inclusive holiday. We tried, unsuccesfully on several days running to book a table for any of the three a la carte restaurants. Again, it was a fight to keep our place in the queue behind the Russians. The lady dealing with the booking s actually refused to deal with them until they calmed down, got into line and behaved in a reasonable manner. We never did get to try any of the a la cartes and in the end we were glad as other guests informed us that it was in fact just smaller versions of the buffet restuarant and the food was certainly no better. Not my idea of a la carte at all. The setting in which the hotel is set is lovely and we couldn't fault this. The beach was lovely and the sea warm late into the day. The pool however was bitterly cold and we were informed the heat had been turned off because the Russian guests kept jumping in the pool in the evening while drunk. I hate sounding so negative but despite the glorious weather and the fun we had on the beach and at the waterpark, the food quality was shockingly poor, the other guests were rude bordering on aggressive at times and the staff seemed uninterested in doing anything to resolve these problems. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and would advise against booking your holiday here.

This is a long but very honest review and I hope you take time to read it fully! I want to start off with the bad things. (always believe the bad news first then the good, so here it goes!) Food = be careful, my boyfriend got food poisoning on the 2nd night so we 'lost' the 3rd day to him recovering. It also meant that we were even more careful about what we ate. (we were careful before but obviously not enough) Room = The room was slightly 'worn' by this I mean there was some marks on the walls. (a few fly casualties and what looked like a heel sized chunk of plaster missing out of the wall near the light switch and a hole in the back of the wardrobe) The Curtain rail came off a couple of times when we tried to go out onto the balcony and there was a gap between the curtain and the wall which meant sunlight was across my face in the early (for me) hours, which woke me a few times. The furniture was marked and looked like it needed a clean. The sheets on the bed were a little old also, they had marks on and we did get a couple that were torn in places, it also looked as though the pillowcases were too small for the pillows. The bathroom = had some mould around the bath/shower, the toilet was a bit wobbly and leaked often from the back (we did notify the staff of this problem when my partner was ill, because the toilet became blocked and was leaking badly from the back. The 'handy man' came out, unblocked it and kicked the pipes at the back of the toilet, as if that would fix the leak!) And the hairdryer looked a little unsafe, it had a couple of wires showing at the 'holding unit' and with all the steam in the room after a shower I can't help thinking that isn't a great thing. The towels were very much like the sheets, sometimes stained and 'tatty'. Staff = Some were a little miserable looking and were barely helpful. Bars = Sometimes the glasses were dirty.
And now the good things! :) (yes, after all that there are some good things!) Food = (what we dared eat, but checked thoroughly before it entered our mouths) Was quite tasty and there was a choice of things to have; pizza, soups, salads, grilled chicken, pork chops and then there was 'main meals' pasta with a tomato sauce, pork/beef/chicken meals and rice, breakfast was european bacon, eggs, pancakes, omlettes, bread, cereals and continental style breakfast dishes. Room = Was attended by the maid every day, so fresh towels and a tidy up and the beds would be made. It was a nice size, so was the balcony, bathroom too. (full size bath. . . bliss) Hotel = Looked amazing on arrival and there was loads to do on the complex. The Water Park, Bowling, Mini Golf, Chess, the animation team had things going on most days, there were shops, you could use any hotels facillities, spa, games centre with pool, air hockey etc in, and water sports. Theres also a medical centre and the doctor there is on call, should you need it! (we didn't by the way) There is an amplitheatre where they do shows, there's an animation hall where they also do shoes (but the bar here is included in your all inclusive) theres also 3 a'la carte places to eat on top of your hotel. (but you have to book these 9am of the morning you want to go) The pool area is clean and tidy, pool bar also and the beach is literally yards away. All in all the hotel could use a little TLC,then it would be fantastic! The bad reviews make it out to be a lot more worse than it really is. I think that's everything but if anyone has any questions please ask me and I'll answer as best I can. I know it's been a long review but it's as honest and informative as I can make it! Happy Travels :)

This is a dirty, disgusting place. I've never seen such a horrible hotel before. Everything is dirty and stinky, no cleaning, air condition doesn't work, only 2 of 4 elevators are working, but very-very slow, small, dirty and stinky too, 10 minutes to get the 7th floor every time. The food is cheap and tasteless, but you have to fight for it with hungry and jerk people who try to collect everything edible and bring up their room. The snack bar is crowded too, you have to wait a very long time on the sun, to get some food. Never go to this horror hotel.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The rooms were in horrible condition the ac didn't work the elevators didn't work, the pool was dirty, the food was the same for lunch and dinner, the plates that were suppose to be clean we dirty with old food still on them from the last time they were used. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever been to and I recommend never to stay at this hotel to anyone.

We booked this hotel with on the beach in February, but when we got to the hotel after being dropped off after a 12 hour journey with cases to our horror the hotel was not open, we never got informed by the travel agent about the hotel, which we booked in February, we were left horrified and scared, we saw this Bulgarian man walk up to the hotel. I showed my paperwork which read the royal park he got on his mobile rang some number next thing he passed the phone to me, some girl spoke to me who knew my name and said a buggy would be collecting us in a few minutes, unawares to us were we were going we landed up at the royal castle. The hotel was up a hill, we couldn't go anywhere, loads of steps and out of the way. If on the beach had informed us of the hotel not open, which we booked in February by the way, they could have given us the option to go elsewhere.
What a nightmare of a holiday, we were petrified after being just dumped outside royal park, we were having panic attacks, we couldn't wait to come home. An awful experience and I am in the process of writing to on the beach and we want a refund for all the trauma we have been through.
Mrs McIntyre A very angry and upset lady

Total disaster. Where to start. Lifts are extremely slow and always one out of four does not work. You need to wait ages to use it. No air in the lift. The rooms are good size but no housekeeping. The pools are very dirty. The grass is yellow. No maintenance or whatsoever. You need to wait hours to get a snack. You need to queue a while to get a drink from the bar. You need to hit someone to have a dessert. The food is very basic and same everyday. No ventilation in the restaurant. You go for dinner and smell like chimney. The sunbeds are very dirty and aged. No proper cocktails or fuzzy drinks. We have been here 3 days feels like ages. We asked for baby cot. We have got one without matress. This hotel is not even 3 star. Do Not recommend. Avoid at all cost

Наталья здравствуйте, спешу ответить на Ваш вопрос))) Море было очень чистое лазурного цвета, как с картинки. Пляж песчаный в перемешку с камнями, но они не острые и их не много, дискомфорта не доставляли.
