The hotel's interior is truly breathtaking and stylish. But what I would recommend you do is visit the amazing SPA! Roxy was totally amazing and very kind. The prices for the procedures are very affordable and worth it! The ladies working at the SPA center are very young, kind and professional!
Overall the food is also good. The staff members are friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is renovating the outside parts of the building which is fine if we consider the strange season we experience (Covid-19).

Very nice building, extern swimmingpool & bar. Deco and room very dark after some days ... Housekeeping = zero , dubble zero. No change of towels , shower smelting moisture , .... still many things to learn to be a five star ! A special memorie to Nina: speaking french but doing nothing if you complain ! The top of in-efficiency !!!!!, with no education.

The Royal Castle hotel professional images does not do it justice. The hotel attention to detail and oozes pure 5* luxury. Our Junior suite was large, spacious and beautiful, a super kingsized bed, with study are, soft seating are, large flat screen TV, marble and granite bathroom with bath and double walk in shower, larger suites available for bigger families. The hotel has 9 floors, including a spa in the basement which is inviting, calming, large pool, many individual treatment rooms, with a large selection of treatments available. The spa staff and staff are curteous, helpful, happy and all speak English very well. The restaurant and food were good, food was eventually plentiful after a minor under provision on the first day but it was, apparently, only the start of the second week of their season. The meat wasn't of a great standard in taste or variety, but the fish dishes were a delight and very tastey. Breakfast (on half board) was the best sitting with plenty of coffee and all types of juices, cereals, breads and fruits, with much of the food aimed at their German and Russian guest with cheeses, olives and meats. Dinner, the food was good but no water, wine or coffee, and you had to purchase this as an extra but no one really asked you if you wanted any and you had to track staff down to get it. Once you had a member of staff, you were taken into their wine cooler to choose from a large variety of wines. The hotel offered a clean and tidy stay, cleaned rooms every day, lots of staff cleaning outside and in, gardeners, pool attendant, security, staff taking you a short distance to the beach in golf buggies. The grounds of the hotel is highly manicured, the pool area has a large selction of sun loungers and four poster double bed loungers, double pods, with lots of fountains and water courses running through tiered levels and finished off with a life guard. The pool (not heated) area flooring has natural non slip stone, perfect for children. A canape pool bar and lounges with drapes circle the bar area where music is played, however the sme CD each day became laborious! Short walk to large water park, plenty of shoots and activities to keep the kids happy and occupied, short walk from there was many shops and markets selling everything you could want from food to treats. Restaurants and bars are not plenty but they serve great food and are welcoming. Food and drink is extremely cheap, so even going B&B at this hotel would be an option. The private beach for the hotel is maintained by two life guards and visiting security, many loungers but with good space between them and again double canape draped bed loungers. Having been in June and low season it is obvious there won't be enough loungers for a full hotel. The beach bar is very nice and offers everything a bar could but no food, we only found one snack bar on the beach which was insufficient. The beach has few large flat stones and is mainly sandy, the black sea was freezing cold and there were not many swimmers.
Overall, we would go back, the place hotel exceeded our expectations, our room was a delight and enjoyed our time in there, a bowl of fruit greets you on arrival and a mini bar which is not very cheap. If you like a doing holiday, Elenite probably isn't the place to go, but we found later in the holiday a book at reception of plenty of excursions to take advantage, you need to ask because the staff don't tell you anything at all, unless you ask and thye are then really helpful.
We visited Nesabar which has history and buildins dating back 5000, it is a great place to visit, plenty of restaurants and shops and places of interest and of course another sandy beach which practically goes right around the island.
The views both sides are either the sea view or the large national park view and are both equally lovely.
Idyllic for either couples, romance, older or younger, families, friends. Regular shuttle buses into Sunny Beach, 20 mins, which is very lively with clubs bars and shows.
Would recommend a private transfer to reduce time from airport to hotel, this little thing made arriving and leaving so much more nicer and wasn't expensive.

If you would consider this hotel for getting married in, well we couldn't imagine anywhere more romantic and idyllic, it's worth a look at at the very least, very cheap accommodation, but the hotel spares no expense on materail detail, everything you would expect in the UK £25k wedding is at the hotel, and plus your guests get to stay in pure luxury as well.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone, a 5* hotel for sure but lacks 5* service.

We booked this hotel very last minute, because we were let down by originally booked hotel, so under normal circumstances wouldn’t be something we would go for for a family holidays ( there were 3 adults and 2 kids). First impression: very fancy, flashy, almost OTT. But the cracks began to appear very soon. It is classed as a 5 ⭐️ hotel ( how?!). The all inclusive meal options were very limited and repetitive especially for families with kids. We would often find empty serving platters so you would either had to chase staff to refill it or put up with whatever is left. Another big issue was room cleaning. We stayed 8 nights, had bedding changed couple of times, otherwise the maid visit would be limited to towels or soap change. By the end of our stay there was mountain of dust on the floor, carpet and furniture… not the standard you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The outside area is nicely landscaped, however finding a sun bed by the pool is almost impossible( unless you throw your towel on one at 6 am). Same with the beach. Sun beds are very limited, so finding one is literally mission impossible. The pool bar at the hotel ( which was the only one that was working) naturally was very busy, at times you would spent half an hour waiting for a drink. So overall a disappointing stay at this hotel. You do expect a high standard from a hotel claiming to be 5 ⭐️ . Unfortunately the basic cleanliness, food standard resembled a 2 star B&B…feels like a rip of rather than money well spent on holidays…

Arrived in July 2023, initial impressions of the hotel, was that it was seriously impressive and that opinion only continued when we saw the glorious rooms that we were staying in - unfortunately aside from the salad selection there were no further good points to the hotel.

Upon arrival, we went to the bar for oir first drink of the holiday, to be told there was no beer due to a wedding on the previous day.

The hotel is run down, which was typified by the tiles in the pool raining down on the users.

The food selection was poor, with the family being unimpressed for the whole week and looking forward to going home for better food.

There was only one bar and restaurant open, as opposed to the multitude that was supposedly offered.

The staff were very nice, but severely lacking in numbers.

An example of our stay was when we went to use the tennis court, which looked nice. However I had forgotten my tennis rackets (which I was very annoyed about) and we went to the reception to use the hotel's rackets and found that their paltry offering of one tennis racket and one squash racket was not sufficient to play tennis.

In conclusion, I would advise all who are looking at this hotel to avoid and seek a 4 star hotel in any other country.

Reading the reviews is a little shocking cos this is my second time here and I love this place. Let’s be completely real here people complaining about service and amount of restaurants etc but for the price you pay you get above and beyond what you will get anywhere in Europe. Not to mention the location and mountains and sea all around with clean air and beautiful settings. The rooms are huge . Food I thought was delicious with a ton of options. Is it at the standard of a 5 start in the Maldives , def not but for what you pay you get 5 times more than you would anywhere else. The place is quiet during Sep which is why I love coming here then. It feels like I have it all to myself. So if you are looking for a party resort or busy places don’t come but if you want nature peace and relaxation then this is a brilliant hotel. Cons: yes you may need to ask for the room to be cleaned at times but who cares. Again you pay peanuts vs what you would get elsewhere. So just ask and stop being spoiled brats on here complaining abt stupid stuff. I see the last few negative reviews and those are the same people who made things unpleasant and just wanted to get drunk. This isn’t this type of place. I loved it. Both times I’ve been here . Thank you for having us

Excellent services! For a perfect stay, absolutely perfect, from all points of view, this is the perfect option. Everything is made to make you, as a guest, feel comfortable and like a royalty. The hotel is super clean, several entertainment spaces and bars with specific accents, opulent you might say! Big size rooms, comfortable beds. The food si excellent, tasty, diverse and fresh.

Food is definitely not 5* you would get better food at a 2 * and actually made my stomach bad. Nothing advertised is open just one restaurant and 1 sometimes 2 bars. The staff are either really nice (especially the bar staff and one of the waitresses) or look totally miserable.
The actual hotel is nice maybe a bit over the top but who cares when your on holiday.
Hired a car to get away for a few days so broke it up. But you are not walking distance to anything.
Overall definitely not worth the money had better holidays for half the price

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in anywhere I the world. Myself husband and two kids ages 13 and 9 . Don’t be fooled by the pictures online . This so called 5 star hotel has been left to rot. Not one of the staff could speak any English and the whole place is filthy. There’s nothing to do with two kids as the so called water park is closed and looks abandoned. The one pool that was open was dirty and freezing. There is nothing nearby no shops , restaurants or life ! There’s no local buses and the taxi to sunny beach was 40 lev each way and that was one of the cheaper ones . The food was disgusting . Three of us were ill after day three . Nothing for the kids to eat unless they’re ok with chips .

My girls hated every minute and internet is non existent as it’s in such a remote place we could only get it at sunny beach .
We had to spend so much money on taxis just to see a bit of life and go to the shops in sunny beach but 80 lev a day for taxis took most of our money . We should have read the reviews as it was a nightmare from the moment we got there .
Save you money and book anywhere else in Bulgaria .

We should of believed the

It did not have ultra all inclusive services, the bartender would tell us they don’t have a drink, then give other people that kind of drink we asked for. When putting ice in the glass they used the hands without gloves or anything, just shove the hand in the ice and then in your glass. You did not have many types of food to choose from. The rooms were not cleaned once. The staff was not friendly at all, the cleaning lady was yelling at people. The hairdryer in the room was broken, almost electrocuted myself. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hi, thanks for your reply. So just to clarify you have now changed the hotel policy from this year? In previous years we have used the hotel bar & spa/pool and enjoyed it very much. We have also enjoyed meals in your restaurant. A pity that this has changed to non residents. Surely the hotel is losing paying customers? Thank you.

I think the answer came a little late, sorry for that.. It`s in the walking distance 5-10min walk(you are walking only through the resort)

Is this hotel open all year round & does it have facilities for none residents like indoor pool, bar, restaurant?
Answer from FirstLineHotels
Dear Guests, Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, the hotel is opened all year round. Because it is HB hotel, there is possibility for non-residents to use our restaurants and bars. We have A-la carte menu everywhere. If they use the buffet dinner or breakfast that costs 20Euro for the meal. The spa facilities are also open for non-residents and there is a daily charge. Here on this number you can find our more: 070018411. Many thanks for your interest. If you need any further information, I'd be happy to help.
