My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Residence Promenade over the Christmas holidays while visiting our son who was stationed nearby. This sea-front hotel is ideally located in central Burgas and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the Sea Garden. There are no other buildings between the hotel and the sea, just a few trees, and the view is spectacular.
There is a small access road in front of the hotel and about ten or so reserved parking spaces for hotel guests. The reception desk employees were very attentive to arriving guests and would quickly run out and move the reserved signs so we could park. During the summer, the staff are probably kept very busy monitoring the parking spots and preventing tourists and beach-goers from taking them.
The hotel lobby and rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely paintings, hardwood floors, and lots of marble. The doors are solid and heavy and the staircase is separated from the rooms by a thick glass divider, all of which help to minimize noise from other guests.
Our room was gorgeous and quite large with a modern bathroom, living room with couch and TV, and bedroom with king-size bed, TV, and vanity and bench. I really appreciated the small dual reading lights next to the bed and the lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Our room also had a hair dryer for guest use, mini-fridge, Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee, a small selection of herbal teas, and bottled water.
There is a great restaurant called Tony GiGi attached to the hotel which does a buffet breakfast for hotel guests (breakfast was included in our holiday package). A limited menu is also available for room service.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we truly appreciated that they were spending time away from their own families on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to take care of the hotel guests.
We had a wonderful time at staying at the hotel and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed, and ideally located hotel in Burgas. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Bulgaria.

This is our second stay here and already looking forward to returning. If you’re looking for an amazing seaside getaway, then look no further than the Hotel Promenade in Burgas, Bulgaria. This luxurious hotel is situated right on the beach, offering stunning views of the Black Sea and a prime location in the heart of the city.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect from a quality hotel, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay in the area.

Located in the very center of the town, the hotel is very closed of all place to see in Burgas, park, beach, pedestrian street...
The design is remarkable, and give you the feeling to be in a special place.
Rooms are very spacious and very well equipped (shower+bath+separate restrooms+iron+board), on top of that the lobby is only for guests, including a living room, a dining room, and a desk room.
The hotel has also his own restaurant that I recommend.

The hotel is awesome, clean and good-looking on the exterior and the interior.
One major setback is parking.
Although it was specified that there were a few free parking spots available, upon calling the hotel before our arrival, they confirmed the free parking spots available but warned us that they were limited.
When asked if a parking spot could be paid to be reserved they refused.

Upon arrival, I saw that the several parking spots dedicated to the clients of the hotel were taken by the hotel's service cars. Which, logically, could be moved to allow more clients to park there, considering the hotel is in the center of the city, where parking opportunities are limited. After driving for 40 minutes to find a parking spot, I ended up parking 2 kilometers away.
When I got back to the hotel, I saw 2 luxury class cars parked in the spots where the hotel service cars were parked before.
I guess parking reservations are available only to the few "select people", the rest are supposed to survive on their own.
Shame. As a result and consequence of the rainy weather, my wife got sick because we had to walk 2 kilometers to the car under the rain.

I guess that is the way of the Bulgarian tourism.
What was supposed to be a leisure weekend, turned out to be "stay at the hotel and drink tea and vitamins due to poor parking space management.

Not happy with the service. And I really try not to rate hotels based on this. Nobody at the hotel is helpful nor has any idea what is going on. Staff not friendly. A lot of people standing around reception doing very little. We were led to believe breakfast was included, went and had a glass of juice and piece of toast, and then at check out they made us pay for the full meal. We got into a taxi to go to Sozopol and were told one price at reception, and then it was another price. Rooms are bare and austere. There is a 5* restaurant by the same name, this is the 3* one next door, but trades on the first hotels reputation.

Hello, firt in every restorant must to pay by the fresh is not includeind in the prise and this is normal. It is written in the menu and every day the restaurant informed you about it. We are not responsible for taxi companies and I don't understand why you blame us. This is the first time anyone has complained about the staff being unfriendly and we definitely disagree with you.

This is the very first time we’ve ever gone back to the same hotel. That’s because the hotel and location are amazing and the incredible staff go over and above to make things happen for you.

So we get to enjoy the same sea view Balcony room for our anniversary holiday for the second time. When we got to our room there was a lovely surprise in our room - so thoughtful! The room is lovely, balcony with a view of the sea, large room and a beautiful bathroom with shower and roll top bath, where you can have a soak, open the patio door and hear the sea waves.

For us, a lovely escape. We can leave the UK first thing in the morning and be at the hotel by midday. A lovely little escape - we’ll be back!

This was a beautiful hotel!! We were here for one night on our way from Plovdiv to Varna. The room was very spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed the complimentary mini bar and the little gift provided by the hotel for our anniversary celebration. The location was great, right by sea gardens with a beautiful view of the Black Sea. It is also close to the pedestrian streets for tons of dining options. Parking was easy as the hotel staff would come out to guide you to a spot. Breakfast was served at the beautiful hotel restaurant, and it was delicious. I will return in the summer!

This is a real, proper 5 star hotel (unlike so many Bulgarian fake "5 star hotels" that are 3 at best). The whole building is insanely beautiful and its Burgas location simply cannot be better. Literally in the park, across from the Black Sea, 5 minute walk into town.

Everything is extremely comfortable and brand new. The staff super kind and accommodating. We were able to park our bike right in the front of the building without trouble and the view from our balcony was simply epic. Thank you very much.

Ohhh, visit the restaurant/bar next door....it's sooooooo cool.

I decided that for at least a day or two, I would not watch the news and I would try to escape from reality. I live in Burgas, and for a long time, I was dreaming of giving myself a staycation in this unique hotel. I do not think I am exaggerating but this is the best hotel in Burgas and one of the bests in Bulgaria. The location could not be more delightful. Things I loved the most are the sea and sea garden view early in the morning, the excellent breakfast, excellent wine list and food, impeccable cleanliness, polite staff and reasonable prices for a 5-star experience. I could not ask for more. I do not regret that I gave myself this day, although I live a few minutes from the hotel. I am a person who loves to travel, but in this challenging global pandemic situation, this passion for travelling is taken away from many people. We can rediscover our city, or visit another place in our own country without taking the risk of flights and airports. Thanks to Hotel Promenade for a beautiful stay and the Norma restaurant, which is in the hotel. In my opinion, the food in this restaurant is the best culinary experience you can get in a small town like Burgas. Be sure to try the salads, steak and great eggplant with hummus. Perfect breakfast, especially if your stay coincides with the weekend because then there is an extensive buffet with more offers.

Beautiful, cozy, very chic! The atmosphere is relaxing yet business friendly. The staff is always helpful. The hotel is located next to the best beach in Burgas and close to the city landmarks - the bridge, the Marine garden and the “Morsko casino” terrace. In the same time it is in the old city center.
