Tracy took such good care of us, and everything was perfect. She is so welcoming, flexible, and passionate about her place. It's a short about a block or so to the national park and beach, and we were able to hitch rides to and from her location. The room was clean, spacious, and had two fans to keep the temperature... This place was very basic. Was there for 3 nights, room was not cleaned and no towels changed. Restaurant wasn't open and there was no breakfast option. Staff were very friendly, but not really around much. Location is quite far from any restaurants and shops. Would be better off staying in the main Uvita part. Will probably be ok once... More

Thank you for the review. We don't offer daily maid service at this hotel, although if you would have liked new towels, you could have simply asked and I would have been happy to give them to you. The "staff" consists of myself, and as I recall, last week, I was dealing with and fixing multiple issues in the hotel... More

We had an amazing time here. The staff was absolutely wonderful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, the smoothies are delicious, and the location is perfect. Quiet and just up the street from the beach. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Close to the beach, bikes for rent, lovely atmosphere and delicious pizza (Thursday and Friday) and smoothies!! The owners, Jen and Tracy, are wonderful people and they have created a unique spot in Uvita! They also rent bikes and surfboards and are happy to facilitate any type of tour with trusted local guides.

Location to the playa was great. Good firm bed, friendly helpful staff. Sewer smell in our room (butterfly room) with private bath not acceptable. We ought to have been given a discount. Thank you for your comments. We're glad you found the beds comfortable and that we provide a friendly atmosphere. The grey water odor from the sink was a difficult problem to solve, as you know. Thank you for your positive remarks. When choosing where to stay down here, you have to ask yourself a question...closer to the beach or closer to town? Although town is only a 10 minute bike ride, fortunately there a quite a few restaurants in walking distance. We're also excited that a new market is being built in our neighborhood! We're... More
