Really nice views over the jungle and distant sea. Interesting drive up from the main road to Uvita. We found the service both friendly and efficient. The food was good but a bit pricey for Costa Rica.

Came here for dinner with friends from Uvita. The view was great but the service poor!!! I had Arroz con Pollo which was tasty. My husband and another friend both ordered French Pasta with chicken added; but only one came with the chicken. So we ordered a side of chicken and also some cheese to sprinkle on the pasta. Both...

This boutique resort is wonderful! Restaurant is great - and so is the bar at the amazing Infiniti pool! However....sitting in your balcony looking at the ocean down below - and whales - with trees full of toucans!!!!! Awesome! Up an interesting road to mountain top and worth it!!!!

We just went here for dinner and it was pretty good but very expensive for the area (American city prices). The service was great (they seem to have been trained by some fancy American servers and have some funny over-formal moments). I would recommend going while it's still light out so you can enjoy the view and maybe see the...

Our first night at Whales and Dolphins we arrived quite late and the sun had set hours before we reached the hotel. We were all greeted by the staff immediately upon our arrival. They fed us dinner and even stayed open late just for us. The next morning I awoke to the most beautiful view of the rainforest and the...

First off the view is pretty phenomenal, I will give them that. The rooms need some work, especially if this hotel sees a lot of guests from temperate climates who will need A/C to actually work (it didn't work in our first room, when I complained they tried to make it like I was imagining things). The food was pretty...

The staff, the service, the view, the food, the pool, the atmosphere- all 5 out of 5!!! I've traveled the world and consider this a prized gem, in a unique exquisite location. To view OSA peninsula "Whales Tail" (google it) from above the rainforest in an Infiniti pool with a Guanabana daiquiri amongst iguanas and toucans was one of the...

The view is this places best feature, the food was good but nothing special, service was attentive and friendly. You can't get there without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I'd go again if with others but wouldn't make a special trip to go there on my own.

Great views abound of the Pacific, once you make it up the hill... We are driving thru central america in our Jeep and this place was indeed quite a steep crawl to get to. Once there, we enjoyed the great pool, great room and quiet stay with a restaurant that overlooks the setting sun. Pricing is fair for Costa Rica,...

Let me just begin by saying that I lived in the Dominical area of Costa Rica for a about a year and I have worked with MANY Costa Rican hotels, restaurants, and other companies and I have maybe never encountered one as WONDERFUL and EASY to work with as Whales & Dolphins. After scouring the region for the best place...
