For the second year in a row, I brought a group of yogis to the AMAZING jungle of the Nicoya Peninsula for a week-long, soul-searching yoga and mindfulness adventure. We'll be back every year! The Sanctuary at Two Rivers is one-of-a-kind place to stay, eat (more on that later!), practice yoga, read a book, walk through the river, rest in... More

The Sancuary at Two Rivers is a beautiful yoga retreat on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. The arrival is magical as we walked a path that crossed a river four times before the actual retreat is in sight. I've ner seen such stunning buildings. Our room was like being in a screened-in tree house. The food was amazing and... More

Rest, recover, reset. This place is the best. We were whisked into the jungle full of natural beauty and lodged in gorgeous, modern jungle lofts. The care here is phenomenal. The staff treated us to awakening yoga practice, transformational meditation, as well as the most delicious and interesting foods you could dream up! You will never stop enjoying everything this... I did not know what to expect when I booked a stay at the retreat....right from the start we had an incredible walk up to the property.... I knew we were in for something special. Greeted by a troop of monkeys in the trees, we were amazed by the flora and fauna on the property. The stay was fantastic. The... More

I am writing this review in reflection of the amazing time I spent at the Sanctuary this past summer . After making the decision to get my yoga teacher training certification, I looked at many different yoga retreats in Costa Rica and was ultimately drawn to the Sanctuary. Let me explain why I was drawn here and how to completely... More

I've been to the Sanctuary at Two Rivers for two week-long stays now, and it's been magical both times. While the rest of Costa Rica competes with tourists, we had to share the lush jungle with no one, except our community and the beautiful animals that called the land home. The Sanctuary is off the beaten path and not simple... More

I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training at the Sanctuary this past summer. It is the most incredibly soothing, grounding, and humbling environment to practice and learn in. Beginning each morning with the sounds of jungle creatures and fresh jungle air, the sanctuary fills your entire being with serenity and peace. Practicing in the pagoda with incredibly knowledgeable yoga teachers... More

The Sanctuary at Two Rivers provides a beautiful setting for a restorative, inspiring and rejuvenating retreat or teacher training program. Allow the joy-filled team at The Sanctuary to nourish your body, mind and spirit. Take a meditative walk around the grounds, up to the Tower to see the ocean view or along the river to visit one of the many... More

I am returning home today from leading a 6 night 7 day retreat at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers. I feel that it's necessary to share my experience in hopes that it will help guide Yoga Teachers in the future towards fully being prepared for their experience. This is not a beach location; This is a jungle location. To find... More

Such an incredible place. The jungle, the food, and the accommodations are all amazing. It's one of the most special places I've been to. You're truly immersed in the jungle yet the accommodations are so comfortable and beautiful. It's the best vegetarian food I've ever had. Really an unique and memorable experience.
