Is exactly why we had to stay put here. We made a foolish mistake of not booking a hotel in advance before we decided to drive up to Mahabaleshwar on a long weekend. We struggled for places, all of which were sold out due to the demand, until a taxi fellow got us here. Terrible hotel, terrible rooms, terrible housekeeping... More

When you enter the premises, the photographs there remind you of the 90's when it was the top most hotel with visitors from bollywood. Food is ok, but the ambience, staff & the premises are upto date.

The place appeared decent from outside.. But the same wasn't true for the room. The room we got was a tiny one, with some weird stink. The rooms are over-priced for sure. The toilet was too small to even for 1person, missing basic stuff, no water and flush not functioning. One can for sure find many other decent places in... More

I was there to celebrate my bday, but it was a worst hotel ever I had visited in my life. Small rooms, dirty bathrooms and towels. Staff stary look, worm in food, arrogant staff(higher level). Rats are running here and there. TV was 18 th sentury with low picture quality and no remote. Everywhere was dust.

The property is beautiful and far from the maddening crowd. Its a beautiful heritage hotel with friendly staff, good food . The view from the room is nice and its a good place for kids with a swimming pool, a small play area, carom, open area for badminton. Its feels like a home stay with a personal touch

The rooms are two small. The environs are nice though. Breakfast buffet is limited and the way they keep their eyes on your portion is kinda irritating! Something which I liked about the dining area is a painting of Shivaji and Rajmata Jijabai - which attempts to recreate the camaraderie between Laddu Gopal and Maa Yashoda!

Beautiful red bricked property with open lawn and an old world charm. A heritage hotel, with beautiful sprawling old bungalow structure with sloping roofs. The room had a view of the garden and the lawn. The openness of the hotel pleases the eye, with morning and evening mist surrounding it. The air is fresh with well manicured garden and trees. A... We returned from our stay here for three nights and will not like to visit the hotel again. Depressing, dingy interiors, carrying a smelly wet feel all the time. Upkeep of interiors is very poor. Toilet is not well maintained. Location is not that great.. it is about 15 minutes walking distance from the market, and there are no eating... More

A quaint 'red in your face' old world charm awaits you a steep ten minute walk up from the local market in Mahableshwar. From Mumbai via the Mumbai-Pune expressway and a detour from WAI is a comfortable approx 6 hour leisurely drive up a winding snaking scenic mountain top through Panchgani. This place is nothing like the modern upmarket hotels... More
