The prices are perfect for what Mbuyuni Beach Village has to offer. Staff are very helpful, friendly and actually, genuinely ask for your experience on the island, your stay at Mbuyuni and help your where you need helping with. As for the food. Breakfast is included and can be prepared so that you can enjoy it in your apartment or... More

This is a budget hotel, a little tired at the sides and to some maybe basic in part but certainly worth staying. The hotel setting was just perfect with the accommodation near the pool and a few steps from the Jambiani Beach. An informal hotel with owner's dogs (very friendly) lying under the loungers. We don't normally eat in hotels... More

The BEST food. The nicest staff. The most beautiful views. By far the most enjoyable stay at a resort/hotel we have had in a long time. The best value for money. Did I mention the BEST food. The menu changes every day. The chefs are culinary geniuses. Stay here!

Situated up on the coral outcrop between Paje and Jambiani with views over looking the Indian ocean. A menu of cocktails and food is displayed on blackboards by the bar and prices are reasonable and the food varied. Simple sandwiches and burgers average at about 15,000 tsh and are worth the price. Seems to be open all of low season... More

The hotel setting is nice with a swimming pool and a restaurant overlooking the sea. The place is located outside the village and therefore minimum 20 min of walk or a taxi ride are needed for going to another restaurant. The hotel room was extremely spacious with a nice terrace in front of the pool and the sea. The room... More

Let me start by saying I've never actually reviewed a place before, this place however compelled us to leave a rating. As far as being a budget traveler this place was a great splurge for us. I'd go ahead and say what really had us writing this review is the quality of the restaurant. The food and staff for what... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, the accomodation and location were just what we were after. Above all I was impressed with the restaurant, some of the best seafood I've ever tasted and a daily changing menu. I wouldn't hestitate recommending Mbuyuni Beach Village to others.

Very nice bungalows on a very peaceful beach. Food was fine and reasonably priced - fortunately as it was Ramadan and there weren't any outside options! If you want action it's not really the place, though there's kite surfing etc a bit down the coast. Nice little pool

What a fantastic hotel! We travelled here from Nungwi for the second, more chilled out part of our holiday and that is exactly what we got. If you want bars, lots of places to eat out and lots of people then this isn't the place for you. However if you want some peach and quiet, amazing views, the beach right... More

The resort was excellent by budget standards and the personal really friendly and helpful and they all provided a personal touch to the visit. I do not dare to name all personal here since I would surely forget somebody. We had a great time during our 10 days at the resort. It is located in between Jambiani and Paje. It... More
