The booking was last minute, budget but great value for 7 nights. We got a "banda", which is a bungalow located with some privacy near the beach (so nice to sleep to the sound of the ocean). The room was overall clean, but there are a few tiny creatures living around/inside the room, like ants and geckos, and we spotted...

This is my favorite place in the world! I've been to Zanzibar about 5 different times and I keep coming back here! What most people don't know is that it's one of the few locally owned and operated places in the area! It's quaint, quiet and fun. The staff can be shy, but if you joke around with them they...

It was a last minute booking and very much worth it. Even if the address is Jambiani, it is a good walking distance from Paje (good news for kite surfers). Jamiani village is more then 1 hour walk on the beach or you can borrow a bicycle from the hotel. We stayed in a banda which was close to the...

Mbuyuni Beach Villa is in a perfect location. Right between Jambiani and Paje with easy access to the various sights and activities in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. We had a room very close to the pool which was very convenient but got very noisy in the early mornings...

Iv been to many hotels in eastern africa and this one is one of the worst, it turned my holiday in to bad memory. The food is bad. The pool over crowded and doesn't provide enough chairs in shadow. The staff is rude and full of revenge, they have hundreds of strange rules as they make up along the way,...

Amazing place with the best food on Zanzibar. We liked everything! Even snake in our room :) but the staff prefered to remove this guy from the room. We had "banda" with very nice terrace with ocean view and comfortable bath room. The room was very big with huge bed with mosquito net. There is a lot of places to...

My friend and I spent two nights at Mbuyuni Beach village, we surely felt at home. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was so good at a very reasonable price (e.g. pizza was 15000 tsh). The breakfast was superb, with varieties of fresh fruits and juice. The staff who we were told are the natives of Jambiani-the village...

We didn't stay here but came for dinner here twice. The staff were really welcoming and the food was fantastic. There is an extensive food and drinks menu that changes daily. We had the most amazing pizza and some great cocktails. All in an amazing setting overlooking the beach.

We stayed for 7 nights at the wonderful Mbuyuni Beach Village - and I don't think we have ever felt so relaxed! The location is stunning, on beautiful Jambiani beach, and there is a pool and loads of places to lounge about and unwind. The room was huge - as was the bathroom which doubled as a dressing room -...
