I came quite a few times having dinner in Spice Island, and I've never been disapointed. The food menu is very diversified, all my choices were always so tasty and well coocked. The staff is so friendly. Very attentive to any request. We experienced movie nights and music nights. Very appreciable. We met Liv, the restaurant manager from Israel. She... More

We had a fantastic family holiday here. The bungalows are really well designed for families with kids and we loved the pool area. The housekeeping keeps the rooms nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food served in the restaurant was average and a bit "samey" but it is a remote location so they do quite well... More

Beautiful hotel, nice decorated apartments and the jetti bar on the ocean is nice for evening cocktails. The restaurant hall with the ocean view is bautiful and the food is delicious! Once a week is a BBQ around the pool, the atmosphere is so romantic and unique. The staff is totally friendly and have always a big smile in their faces!... More

Dear Katharina F. Thanks a lot for review us here on Tripadvisor. We would like to say thank you for staying with us and we really appreciate your warm words about our little paradise. It is right when you say that during the sun downer time the best spot for a cocktail is our 100 meter long Jetty Bar. We... More

Rooms were well equipped, pool was lovely, beach spectactular. Staff was attentive, but not pushy. Great ambience. Dinner menu is very limited, lots of fish, not much vegitarian fare. Expensive taxi's to and from Stonetown. Do not expect any shopping, ATM's etc. nearby.

The spacious bungalows are nestled in lush garden grounds. The rooms are comfortably furbished and very clean. Reception and staff are very friendly and attentive, the food selection was plenty and very tasty. Special evening events, i.e. live music, African dance groups and local food tastings made the stay even more special. Trips to Stone town, spice gardens and boat... More

This resort is in a beautiful natural setting on the south eastern coast of Zanzibar. It offers a good sized pool and an abundance of lounge beds and places to relax in the shade by the pool or looking out at the ocean. There are lots of activities on offer and you can bike ride or walk on pure white... More

If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the daily grind then this is the place for you. The staff was very customer friendly, the rooms were clean and large plus well maintained. The pool area was super and taking walks along the beach at low tide was throughly enjoyable and relaxing. Taxi service from... More

Great hotel, beautiful grounds, the picture here does not do it justice, much better "in the flesh". Loved the big pool sheltered from the wind with sea view and the great dining hall. Very good food and friendly staff. Best bit for me is this beautiful pier, which takes different aspect with the changing tide. Perfect place to rest, peaceful... More

The service is incredibly thoughtful and they are always smiling and making sure they are doing whatever they can to make your vacation better. The location of the hotel is also great if you look for a calm place. It is, however, close to Paje, in which we found great places to spend time during the day. The trips organized... More
