It was nearly three years ago I spent 16 hours at The Spice Island Hotel and resort, I help the dawn that morning in my heart and vowed to be. Ack with a significant other. Hotel with a lot of potential but unpleasant, tasteless and outdated. This could be acceptable unlike not working toilet with stinking filling or insufficient cleanliness. The breakfast was not much better. The staff was not so kind and helpful as in other hotels we had on the island. Probably the opinion is influenced from the experience we had in already mentioned hotels but in comparison it was way worse than the others. We don’t recommend.

Hotel, rooms and very nice pool surrounded by trees. No fridge in the room. Perfect place for christmas with a dinner with 5 plates. Monkeys in the trees very cool just in front of your room but not aggressive at all very nice ones. The beach was nice but to walk in the sea had rocks everywhere. So you could only snorkle by high tide and get in the water under the jetti with a very nice bar. Perfect place to be before dinner.

This resort is absolutely amazing. It’s rustic and beautiful. You’ll have all the comforts you’ve come to expect while feeling like you can unplug from the hustle and bustle of city life. The food at the restaurant is delicious and there are also plenty of other hotels along the beach if you are looking for some variety. Paolo, James, Gertrude, Miriam, Jonas, Petro and Adam made our stay so comfortable and were always available to help us whenever we needed. I think the people we met at Spice Island were the highlight, which is saying a lot because the place itself is so beautiful. A big thank you to the Spice Island team because they made our first trip since the pandemic one to remember.

Lovely hotel by a quite and beautiful beach between Paje and Pangiani! Very helpful and friendly staff! Great massage! (thank u Asunta). Beautiful swimming pool and rooms! Breakfast was also very good.

Good location, nice staff and very good accommodation in beach front Jambiani. A big swimming pool, a lot of nature and big room. Good breakfast and a wonderful deck bar. The only problem was that there are some insects in the room (ants and crickets), and the crickets at night don´t let you sleep well.
