We just happened to pass on the beach and thought the restuarant looked cozy. The food turned out to be brillant and the staff were so friendly and relaxed (not so pushy). We did not stay at the hotel but maybe next time, although jambiani is still very quiet and isolated and far from the kite-centers..

We just turned up impromptu at the lodge as we were driving around Zanzibar and turned out to be a good choice. Excellent manager. Food at the restaurant was always great (much better value than The Rock - avoid), as was breakfast. Well stocked relaxing bar that serves up good cocktails, including authentic caipirinhas!!! Rooms urgently need to be re-styled,...

My sister and I stayed at Bahari with my 2 year old daughter and we all had a fantastic, relaxing time. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, spacious with all your need and a top level of cleanliness. The staff were all really welcoming and went out of their way to help us, particularly when it came to my daughter,...

The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Came here on our honeymoon, dusty and tired after long days on safari. The staff had lit candles and spread flowers on the floor and on the bed. Super romantic! Dinner at the restaurant was served buffet style. Everything there tasted really good. Staff was super friendly and helpfull. Even had one person waiting outside...

We stayed here for 3 days and nights at the end of our 3-week African adventure and it was fantastic. From the start we felt spoiled. The bartender delivered freshly prepared "welcome drinks" with a smile and a warm laugh. The beds were decorated with hibiscus blossoms and at least two staff members said they had been worried about us...

Stayed here for three nights and what a great stay. We stayed in a beach Banda with a separate block for toilets and showers. It was right on the beach and a great comfortable nice simple room with a fan. We ate breakfast here and couldn't believe the choice they give you compared to other hotels that include breakfast. Also...

Stayed here for 4 nights end of July - we were lucky enough to be given room/hut 2 which is right on the beach - absolutely perfect. Great room (spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean), great service - the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food was good - it was real little gem of a place and would highly recommend...

We stayed 2 nights in the Bahari View Lodge with our two small children and we loved every minute. We haven't seen other rooms/cottages inside, but our stelted cottage was right on the beach, next to the bar. It was comfortable and spacious. We had hot running water in the morning, afternoon and at night, which we enjoyed very much....

“Room/Hut 1 and 2 are right on the beach - we were lucky enough to be given Room 2 (double bed and a single) - They are also right next to the bar - but there was no noise from there from other guests. One of these rooms/huts would definitely be my recommendation.”
  • Balcony view from room/hut 2 - beachside - perfect!
