I chose black leopard camp as it was about 350 kms from Johannesburg airport and we stayed for two nights. Although it is near a main road you are very quickly into the wild and it feels miles from anywhere. We were picked up at the road and the drive to the lodge takes about an hour. We did two...

As a couple of friends having our birthdays round about same time, we decided to book most of the tents at Black Leopard camp. Alan and Lindsay were extremely helpful even beforehand to address concerns and questions. Having wonderful staff that tends to all your needs without being noticed even, this place is a must. The tents are wonderfully neat...

Excellent place to visit. Get a feel of real adventure in the bush. We spent one night here in our luxury tent, if we had known it was that great we would have stayed longer. We cannot thank Alan and his team enough for making our stay so wonderful. We spotted my favourite animal of all: giraffes. Not to forget...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and we loved every minute of our stay. The 1hr30min game drive to the camp is a highlight and the further we got away from our car the more we relaxed. We chose to stay at the camp resting during the day, but they do offer game drives and bush walks for...

We had a wonderful few nights at Black Leopard Camp over New Years Eve. Our family tents were so luxurious and comfortable. Everything is so clean and you get amazing luxury, like turn downs and cleaning, all included. The Chef's are fantastic. We brought fairly simple meals, not knowing their abilities. They far surpassed what we could have done. Next...

We have been to Black Leopard four times this year. It is a wonderful place to spend time at any time of the year. RThe tents and the attention to detail is in a class of its own. Lynsey and Allan are caring hosts and walk the extra mile to make each visit a special occasion. I highly reccomend Black...

What a breathtaking surprise this place was! Especially to a foreigner who's never visited South Africa before and lands here for the first few nights :) A truly overwhelming experience. From the moment we were picked up at the parking lot, we saw dozens of animals roaming freely around the area. Due to the off-season, there were no menus at...

We stayed at Black Leopard Camp in May 2016. It is a beautiful place, deep in the mountains with quite a bumpy ride from where the ranger pick you up where you reach the camp. The tents at Black Leopard Camp are lovely, stylish and comfortable, with lots of character. The communal eating area was also great and we saw...

From the minute we were picked up we were treated like royalty. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful without being intrusive at all. The amenities was even more luxurious than we expected, and the coffee flask delivery in the mornings was perfect to start off the day. When we went on the game drives we felt like VIP's, and...
