Clean and pretty but for R$300, I would expect soap to be provided in the bathroom. There was none in the bedroom nor in the communal toilet. The receptionist wasn't bothered about anything and was neither informative nor knowledgable about tours to Chapada Diamantina. He could not have been less helpful. We decided to move to a much nicer -...

Located near the city center offers simple accommodations for a reasonable price ! If you are staying in Lençóis doing the tours it is a good option! Their breakfast is good and many things are made by themselves ! At least in my room there was no air conditioner, just a small fan! No TV as well!

First of all: so far the best breakfast in a hostel in Brazil! Homemade food every morning, lots of choices, different options every day. So if breakfast is important to you, this is where you should go! Apart from that: very helpful nice staff, clean, big chill out area, pool table, decorated with love, much space in the room. Only...

We stayed at Pousada dos Duendes for 4 nights in a lovely room with our own balcony and hammock which we used every evening to relax and look at the stars. The staff was very attentive and helpful and the Pousada runs its own agency so we booked passeios with them directly. Our guide, Lúcio, was great, super friendly and...

Cute little Pousada about 300m away from the town centre. The office staff are very helpful and we arranged with them three days of tours with an English speaking guide. I stayed in a 4 person mixed dorm. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good, but it's best to go before the rush. There are lot...

Many of the rooms in this hostel have private balconies, some with really great views of the town. The hostel grounds are huge, with lots of room to sit, and a pretty garden area. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hostel. Great staff. Great location.

The staff were really friendly and helpful which is what made our stay so good. We organised tours through reception and did some amazing trips with fantastic English speaking guides. We stayed in a private room which was pretty basic but clean. It did get a little bit hot with only a fan but overall we were happy with our...

A wonderful pousada, with comfortable and very clean amenities. The staff is friendly and they also specialise in tours of the Chapada Diamantina. The breakfast is divine and features on some days the best chocolate cake known to humankind.

From many angles, this seems to be the perfect hostel. A great outside common area with hammocks, a pool table, wifi and a book exchange. Helpful staff that speak good english, know a lot about the surroundings and are very helpful in planning your stay. Our double room and the shared bathroom were clean, so no complaints here. Did not...
