I spent 10 days at Estancia La Rosita in November, December 2018, great horses, great countryside, brilliant accommodation, all staff were excellent, friendly and very experienced. Great times and happy trails with Fernando and Willie, nice evenings chatting with their mother, lovely woman (Alicia, I believe?). Gauchos were brilliant, all staff were, food and wine excellent. Couldn't get a better location to ride out and with great people, first class. Bobby Mageraghty.

One of the most amazing rides and vacations we have ever been to. We have been riding in a number of countries and continents with a variety of directions. However the Estancia to Estancia ride together with staff from La Rosita has been the best ever. Everything was topp quality and advanterous. We learned how to be gauchos and got all the thrills we were looking for; collecting cows, horses, long rides with a number of nice gallops and finally an extremely fun polo game. The food and the the hospitality of the different estancias were excellent. We had a long gallop along the Corrientes River and finally we took a swim and a boat ride in the same. Everything was amazing and genuinely Argentinan. But above all it was the the horses and the staff we will remember. The service level from Fernando and all the gauchos is above all expectations. We will be back!

I went with my fifteen year old son. There was also another guest there with his 14 year old son. So we both had chosen a holiday that we thought would challenge our kids. I do think this place would work for adults only or for kids who like to ride and are maybe over 10. If you don't ride and don't want to ride, you are going to be bored. If you do ride, this is brilliant place to go and see another way of life. We are both experienced riders, me more than him, so I chose Argentina because I had heard that the riding is faster, if you want it to be. I wanted my son to be challenged as at 15, this was a chance for him to have a really different experience with me as a semi-adult riding fast. You can do an 8 days ride that goes from Estancia to Estancia but our dates did not work. So we were based at Estancia Rosita and rode out from there every day. The riding was everything I had hoped. The farmer, Fernando was very careful on day 1 to assess our riding. We both got plodders on that day until Fernando could see that we could ride. I had heard stories about Argentinian horses being very difficult but I saw none of that. Through our week, we got steadily faster horses as we requested them. All of these horses were very well schooled so would stop on command, no problem. I know the horses were fast because we were playing polo in the afternoons and were going incredibly fast. Huge fun. We played polo with Fernando and the gauchos and we all had huge fun. We also took long rides into the country side to see the Capubaras and the birds. We also helped on the farm. This was a bit of a revelation. It is actually quite a rush to herd anaimals on horseback and spending time side by side with the gauchos was a real experience. It also felt really free because we were not hacking in a line, we were spread out over the landcape to gather the animals in. Natural riding. None of the gauchos speak English but they were very patient with our attempts to move animals with them. The estancia is a proper working farm with local horses that are born into the herd. The gauchos are authentic, the cow dipping and calf tagging was authentic. The tack even had two girths - one to stay on and the other to attach the lassoo too. The accommodation was really charming if a little dusty. That is country living for you. Don't expect marble tiles and infinity pools. A lovely wood fire in the dining room, local food. Wifi was ok for email and watching Netflix but certainly my British mobile could not get calls. No pool. Our hosts were the farming brothers Fernando and Willie. Fernando supervised all the riding . Both speak good English so we would ride and chat. Even getting there was an advanture as you have to fly into Beunos Aires and then get an overnight coach north. Fernando meets to when the coach arrives at the local town, Esquina. As an example of the personal care they took of us, when we left, the member of the farm that looked after us at mealtimes, Veronica, asked me to close my eyes and then she gave me a silver ring as a momento of being at the Estancia. There was genuine warmth from her even though we spoke different languages.I have come back feeling renewed after an unforgettable experience.

I stayed here for, 8 days it was incredible, Willie and Fernando the manager's were very professional and very accommodating in every way, a thing you required was provided, accommodation brilliant, food excellent very large portions also, organic beef, grass fed cattle, vegetables fruit etc, coffee or tea galore. My riding really improved by being here. Don't miss it, it's not a dude ranch, it's the real deal, working with the Gauchos who are very experienced and very sociable, your well being is overseen at all times by Fernando and Willie! Absolutely the best, rural La Pampas, overnight bus return to Esquina from BA, is as good as a business class flight, the whole experience with stay with me for life, Vera and all staff are brilliant, forget the commercial ranches, go for the real deal to Estancia La Rosita Corrientes. They are there to pick you up early morning, no waiting and see you off with a great farewell until your overnight bus leaves, don't miss it! Bobby Mageraghty

This Estancia surpassed all our expectations!! We were looking for an authentic non touristy Estancia - and found it. Fernando was fantastic from our initial enquiry right to the end of our stay. We are a family with novice and experienced riders - they accommodated all levels. We rode with Fernando and the guachos twice a day (about 5 hours in total) - they were patient with the novice and gave the experienced rider lots of opportunity to canter and gallop. They matched horses very well for each rider. First we learned how to ride the Argentine style, then we herded cattle, treated cattle, rode through native forest and amazing wetlands, tried polo (Fernando and Willy cut the polo field grass especially for us even though it wasn't polo season - thank you). The scenery and bird life is stunning - amazing sunsets. Fernando & Willy, their parents and the rest of the family made us feel totally at home. They arranged sunset drinks in different parts of the Estancia. Willy catered for us so well with delicious authentic food. We also visited the nearby town of Esquina - Fernando knows the best ice cream shop!! We travelled from BA and back by luxury "flat bed" overnight bus from BA - all arranged by the Estancia all made very easy with clear instructions. If you're looking for a truly authentic experience, we doubt you'll find anywhere better. We hope to be back before too long. Thank you Fernando, Willy and family for a great and memorable experience!
