This hotel may have rebranded itself, but it is still very basic. Our room was one level up, above the General store. There were 10 rooms, in a row, with a walkway outside and stairs at either side for access. There are no blinds/nets so little privacy with people coming and going. The walls are paper thin, and the a/c is one of the noisiest I have ever heard. Our neighbours made a phone call at 06.30, and we could hear every word. Neighbours the other side started opening and closing drawers and packing before breakfast. 2 noisy nights....on complaining to reception, we were promised breakfast coupons as compensation....but they never materialised! The resort itself is fine...lots to do, as long as the weather co-operates, but up grade to the main building if you want an undisturbed night. Very disappointing.

We lucked into the upper corner room. Amazing view of harbor, outer strait and all the comings and goings of boats, kayaks, kids, motorcycles, trucks, boat ramp, chess players, dog walkers and pub customers. All close by. So room not quiet but view is active. No need for TV :) Room was clean, nice and of average size. Bathroom shiny and clean. Terry robes a bonus with the world nearby. Small tv we didn't turn on. Deck huge and above but oddly private. Refrigerator in room, grocery store in the building. Staff all lovely and hard working.

We stayed here for a night over the Canada day long weekend. Really had a great stay. The rooms are comfortable, just watch that first step into your room if you are staying at the back. The views were great! My only complaint is about the staff smoking area, not so much it's location but the staff should be more cognizant about guests. The staff were loud later in the evening, we were about to yell out the window. Everything else was wonderful and I highly recommend this place. There is always something to watch or places to wonder around.

Driving into Lund you wonder why there are so many No Parking signs along the road. Then you find out: the only parking is the resort's pay lot. What small town dependent on tourists charges people to park and check out the stores? Nowhere except Lund. I've never written a grumpy review like this before, but found this to be the opposite of hospitality.

We are sorry that your experience to Lund was not memorable for the right reasons. The resort refunds all parking for any guest that uses the resort facilities and management is more than happy to redeem your parking for you and offer you dinner for two with our compliments. Please let us know if we can send you a letter confirming this, and we will make this right. Sincerely, resort management

Everyone was kind and helpful. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed one night and enjoyed dinner at the hotel. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We would definitely stay again.
