It's often said that the devil is in the detail, and Anne Patterson has clearly thought of every one of those details. Our room had a large and extremely comfortable bed,a luxurious en suite and a private patio. We were greeted with a plate of warm scones on arrival. There are excellent tea and coffee facilities in the room, with...

This was a wonderful place to stay on Skye. Neil and Anne were the most gracious hosts! We spent 2 nights there and really enjoyed the stay. The breakfasts were great. And their dog is a to die for friendly black Lab. And there are the views that are marvelous as you are so far up on a hill. Really...

During our 3 weeks in the U.K., we stayed in 7 different B&Bs and this one is my favorite. The food was wonderful and Neil was extremely helpful with advice on where to eat dinner and what to do during the day. We will definitely return.

Just back after three amazing nights here, and we are already trying to organise our diaries for our next visit - for longer! Forgetting the unbelievable hospitality (nothing was too much!), the amazing breakfast that keeps you full all day (unfortunately Starbucks does not offer this - I checked this morning), the view has no words to describe it, nor...

Stayed three nights with Neal and Anne. Clach Ghlas was everything we imagined. The views are spectacular and the accommodations are fabulous. Stayed in the Master with great views of the loch and the hard lands across the way. Waterfalls were multiplying as the rai fell for a couple of days and added to the view. The winds actually caused...

Had a great stay with friends, Neil was very helpful with whatever we needed. The place has a great view, great breakfast options and very nice rooms. Definitively worth the price. Would recommend to go by car, but that applies to all of Skye.

All I was looking for....a fireplace in the evening, an amazing view from the bedroom....and on top, a jacuzzi. The breakfast with love for the detail and a very warm and welcoming host.... Worth to get the most expensive room!

Sadly we only booked in for one night - we would love to return and stay longer in the future. Really First Class hosts, rooms and food. Exceptionally attentive hosts, warm scones delivered to our room with possibly the best jam I've ever had. Anne had arranged a taxi in advance so we were whisked to and fro Three Chimneys...

We stayed at Clach Ghlas for three nights last week . Anne is a wonderful hostess , and we were met with warm scones on arrival. Our room had a marvellous view of the sea and cliffs beyond and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, including a fridge, biscuits and chocolates that were replenished each day. Anne has...

I agree 100% with the reviews that have been written. Anne does an amazing job with breakfast . I loved her porridge, her home made oat cakes, the selection of smoked meats and cheese. Exceptional! We wished we had stayed longer than 2 nights in Skye as there is so much to do, and coming "home" to Clach Ghlas was...
