We have stayed here for two nights and to be perfectly honest, the quality of our stay as a whole was rather poor. After a grand tour throughout Scotland, we had booked this Lodge Hotel for an extra night since we were looking foward for a time of true relaxation. Based on the pics on Tripadvisor, we thought it'd be...

We stayed 2 nights at this traditional hotel. The location is fabulous (right next to loch licht). Dinner & breakfast were excellent. Great for exploring Spean bridge and walk to the commando memorial. Wifi only worked in lounge and both nights we were disturbed by hotel's chronic water system noise. Hess would be easy to fix. Great waypoint on the...

Well placed for an overnight stop. Rooms were well insulated (warm & quiet) and we slept well. Great value for money. Location: Sits on Loch Lochy with easy access from the A82 linking Spean Bridge in the south to Inverness in the north and Skye to the west. We really enjoyed our visit and will stay here again. The room...

This is our 4th trip to this hotel and whilst a little frayed round the edges it offers a great location and excellent food. We booked a superior room and this had great views out to the lock, and a very comfy bed, the only let down was the bathroom needs updated. A few issues with the water supply off...

The Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel is spectacularly situated on the banks of Loch Lochy. We woke every morning in our rooms to a wonderful view of the Loch and the mountains. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean as were the public areas of the hotel. The food was exceptional with a good selection of dishes to chose from both for...

Letterfinlay provides an experience of old style country hotel living. It’s spacious bedrooms as well as dining and lounge rooms are well appointed in a comfy way and the hospitality from Maggie and the team is friendly and helpful. The big asset of the hotel is its location. A short walk took me down to the edge of Loch Lochy...

We love this hotel. Staff couldn't do enough for you. They are welcoming and friendly. A special mention goes to Maggie. Food is excellent. Lots of hills to climb in the local area. We managed two hill days in mixed weather. The reception staff even took our wet hill gear and dried it off for us. Many thanks. We will...

We booked this hotel for a west coast trip and were left dissapointed. Our receptionist on arrival was very freindly and welcoming, she showed us to our room that appeared to be a converted basement cellar so no beautiful views over the loch. It was spacious enough but very cold and sparse with basic amenities. We booked a table for...

After locking ourselves out of our Campervan just up the road, we stumbled across this gorgeous hotel. A lady (unfortunately we didn't get her name) helped us get in contact with RAC and helped us advise them of where we were - which was great! We were even allowed to wait in the lounge area (which was brilliant as we...

A very warm welcome, comfortable room with views of the Loch. Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is magically placed to explore the Highlands. Although close to the main road you have no traffic noise, but have the convenience of easy access.
