Spent 3 nights here. Like many others I found the dinner, etc. prices to be, well, ridiculous even though the quality and service were excellent. Owners and service staff are superb, friendly and helpful. Our room was small, cramped and poorly ventilated (unless you kept the window open and happen to enjoy bugs). The decor will remind you of your... More

We chose this as a place to break our journey from Portree to Edinburgh and were very glad we did so. From the warm welcome from James to the comfortable room to the relaxing bar/lounge everything is conducive to a sense of comfort and relaxation. The view of the loch from the dining room is marvelous. We did not have... More

This was the UNFawlty Towers experience. Everything is self-contained and easy to access. It is a wonderful B&Besque place with fantastic lake views. My travel agent found this place for our wife and I as we were driving through the Highlands. The food is incredible. Your manager, receptionist, bellman, and concierge is all the same guy - James. James is... More

Stayed for just one night with my partner in late 2015 whilst driving through the highlands. We chose the hotel after a lot of research as we were looking for a place which captured the atmosphere and feeling of the highlands, or our perception of it, as we only had 4 days to spend in the highlands. We certainly were... More

We had a wonderful 1 night stay here in late July, the view over the loch is so lovely from the dining room. The room was really beautiful and cosy. fantastic bed and the softest duvet ever! We had a lovely warm welcome and even enjoyed a stroll up along the old train tracks behind the lodge followed by an... More

What can I say? This quint boutique hotel with a 5 star restaurant is well worth the trip. They're in an out of the way of tourists spot, but it is well worth the effort. Each room has its on flavor, all come with full bathrooms (showers, no tubs), so very cozy. The view of the Loch is fabulous &... More

I vacationed with my family (husband, daughter, son in law and granddaughter) for 10 days in UK, and this was our first stop. I wish it had been our only stop, because the peacefulness and beauty of the area is truly amazing. The staff was courteous and helpful, always very quick to respond to any request made. The decor was... More

My family visited Scotland on a short break and after a long drive we ended up staying at the Corriegour Hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating we could not wish for more. The bedrooms and were quaint mixture of 1930's and Laura Ashley style but, nicely put together. The only downside was the... More

This place was very cute, and in an excellent location. The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating. The dining room has a fantastic view, too! Dinner was too expensive for our budget, though, so we ended up having dinner in Fort Augustus instead and James, the host, was very helpful with our local dining options. The staff... More
