What annoys me about this place, it is advertised as Luxury. It certainly isn't, I have stayed in far better back packers, there was so much wrong I have listed everything, which is something I have never done before. The cheapest bed I have had the misfortune to sleep on, pillows even cheaper with tears in the pillow case. It... More

Really nice B&B. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was of a good standard. The breakfast was lovely, with both cooked breakfast options and cereals. The hotel is in a lovely area and makes good base for walking.

After a slightly grumpy reception, we had a lovely meal at the station restaurant which the owner kindly organised for us, the room was very clean and modern with a large en-suite with a powerful shower. We had an early breakfast as we wanted to climb Ben Nevis and I could not fault it.

Hi, remember us? It's 1:43am. We are the people who showed up on time at 9:30pm and you turned away because of your clerical error. We expected to spend tomorrow on skye. Insead we had to drive 3 hrs EAST to this dump in Glasgow for $200. Thanks, friend. I should add -- I'm a computer scientist who's paid very... More

Our best b & b in Scotland! Well located in Spean Bridge, along the river. The family room is spacious, very clean. Breakfast is excellent and Colin is very caring with his guests. Highly recommended!

Spent two nights in this excellent B&B whilst walking the East Highland Way (Fort William to Aviemore) end June / early July. I could not have asked for more in terms of amenities, room comfort and breakfast. The breakfast offered a choice from porridge, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, full cooked breakfast in a spacious, light upstairs breakfast room. The... More

Colin was very welcoming and served us with a lovely afternoon tea which we had in the front garden. He then phoned and reserved his recommended place to eat for us. Our room was lovely but could hear all footsteps from upstairs. Otherwise we had everything needed for a pleasant stay and were comfortable. Breakfast is at a fixed time... More

The Riverside is a simple B&B, and there are quite a few rooms, so things can be a bit noisy. The surroundings are nice, and breakfast was again basic. What irked us a bit was that for one sandwich, a pear and a small bar of chocolate plus a small bottle of water we were charged £5. This made the... More
