This is a top class b&b! This is my second visit! Good sized single room! Beautiful bathroom with bathrobe and slippers! As much tea coffee etc as you can drink including fresh coffee and fresh milk!! Sky TV and WiFi that's free! Everything that you need! Standard is better than some so-called 4&5 star hotels! Excellent breakfast too! Definitely recommend... More

We stayed here overnight before taking the ferry to Northern Ireland. Even though we were getting up before breakfast the next day, the hotel provided us with a breakfast to take with us. It was delicious for a cold, packed breakfast. They were also very helpful with directions and advice.

All the things you would expect from a great B&B and some nice touches you would not expect which highlights attention to detail like little scissors to cut your sauce open :-) Would recommend to all travellers very hearty breakfast Hope the next place is as nice

We were going to Belfast to move our daughter into her new flat and uses the guesthouse the night before we sailed and the night of our return. We had a double room which was finished to a extremely high standard extremely clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail were superb. The breakfast was as the picture looked and... More

We stayed at Rhins for one night before taking the ferry to Belfast. The guys running it were great and very helpful. The facilities in the room were excellent and the breakfast was wonderful with all you could wish for cooked to order. We would definitely use them again for a overnight before the ferry or as a base for... More

Can't rate this highly enough, clean, beautiful rooms with gorgeous bathrooms - only stayed the night as getting the ferry in the morning - could easily have stayed a week ! Easily the best breakfast had in a long time, and as there is no licence- patrons are welcome to take their own drink - ice & glasses can be... More

We chose this hotel as it is very close to the ferry port and it was convenient for us to stay overnight and catch our ferry the next morning. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely chap, who offered us a free upgrade to the Churchill Suite 😄 I have to say the suite is top notch, very very... More

With an early Monday morning ferry journey to Ireland, I needed to stay near to the ferry port the night before. I use an agency to book through work. To be honest, I wasn't given a great deal of choice for the area. Rhins of Galloway was the only choice that was within price policy. I didn't look at the... More

The owners' welcome is bright and warm; the breakfast is extremely good; our room was very well-equipped. The dinner recommendation was spot-on. If you're taking a Cairnryan ferry, it's a few minutes away. Unreserved praise for Rhins of Galloway as a cut above.
