On arrival at the hotel it was a bit like entering a secure area. There is a barrier which needs to be opened to let you drive in, there are numerous cameras and floodlights and another barrier to let you out. The Eagle’s Hotel California sprung to mind; you can check out any time you like but you can never...

Stayed here for one night on business, the welcome at reception was very good. I was so tired I did not care much about the room but it was so gloomy, one bedside light with an energy saver bulb in it which took ages to put out any light. Bathroom was cold and very dated and the shower had no...

I have used this hotel for 8 or 9 years as a base for business colleagues and they always find it a good hotel, very good food from a varied menu and the prices are reasonable. The hotel is in a semi rural setting and is ideal for access to the NEC where hotels are often full, and expensive.

This being the third time we as a family have visited for Christmas Day so we knew what to expect..quality food, quality service + all set in perfect surroundings! Was a bit fraught at first as the booking had not been received from the booking site. When it was eventually sorted, there was no problem. The room wasn't really big enough for both our dogs and us but manageable. Bed was hard and lumpy for my partner but not for me, I sleep anywhere. Good food in the restaurant...

This was our fourth stay and we felt like we were welcomed as friends. The atmosphere here is one of calm relaxation. Our room was clean comfortable and warm, and a piping hot bath was very welcome, especially as we just had ridden 160 miles on a motorcycle! We had booked a party of 12 for dinner. However, an extra...

My corporate Hotel booking system left me with this choice. Positives Carpark well lit and with good CCTV coverage Friendly staff WiFi free and relatively good Negatives Help me! I appear to have been transported back to the 1970's, or is that just the décor? Rooms are small, RSPCA would have been after me if I had attempted to swing...

We stayed over on Saturday night in October. The loaction is very convinent for the Motorway, but still feels very much like being in a Country House. We were very impressed by the friendly welcome. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast
