I have stayed here three times. Rooms are clean, free wifi and as a lone female I feel extremely comfortable. The staff are always helpful and friendly, Beth in particular, on my last visit was exceptionally kind and helpful. It makes a very pleasant change to staying in some of the bigger named chains and it is my first choice... More

Coleshill in general and The Coleshill Hotel in particular was a real find! The town is very pretty, with a lot of very interesting old buildings, of which, the hotel is one of the most notable, comprising several separate buildings. The room was very attractive and comfortable. The other facilities: bar, restaurant, terrace were excellent and the place has a... More

On arrival we were met by a very friendly receptionist. I asked if there was a room on the ground floor or close to a lift and we were offered a suite in the annexe which was across the road from the main hotel. This was Ferndale House a beautifully converted Georgian House and our room was at the back... More

Place isn't very busy, but struggled to get served at the bar for a pint, and 45 minute wait for food. Lovely place though! Maybe they are short staffed or something. Will definitely be back to see if this is a one off...

I booked a room a good three months in advance for a wedding reception at the same venue, but i think they gave me the worst room in the hotel. I was allocated room 10 on the top floor which was very obviously a former store room and not one one designed or originally built for habitation. There was no... More

All the staff were helpful, check in was easy and the accommodation was good. Saturday evening gets busy and quite loud with locals (a good sign) but our room (top floor at the back) was fine. We had a squeaky bed which they promised to fix when we notified it. We would visit again.

Good range of bottled, keg and cask ales as you would expect in an English pub. Early Sunday lunch for 2 from the main menu resulted in the chicken burger for my son and a rib eye steak for myself. The burger was 'very good' apparently and my steak with a side order of vegetables, also hit the spot! The... More

Visited Coleshill Hotel for breakfast this morning, waited 20 mins, when it came it 1 tiny button mushroom, the toast came in stages, and the bill came to £20, no wonder no one in there. The waitress was polite and helpful, but up against it I suspect

Last October we were given a guided tour of many of the rooms and booked a large group in for June for the evening of my daughters wedding. The manager made the booking while we were there and we made several requests that he noted down, eg, family rooms for my nieces, the groom to share a room the night... More
