We stayed over for 1 night chose because it's close to the nec. Clean but very dated in need of an urgent refurbishment. Had carvery meal in the evening & continental breakfast (included in price of meal) carvery was lovely very cheap. Breakfast more than adequate self service restaurant also dated & urgent refurbishment necessary

We stayed here for one night whilst going to the getting arena. The manager was excellent very friendly and welcoming. Room very clean and everything you could want. This is a budget room and for the cooked breakfast and the price was excellent.

I booked this as an economic alternative to the NEC hotels nearby, which it was. My room was in the very top of the hotel which meant lot of climbing for a lady with a bad knee (fair enough - I didn't specify a room close to the ground). The heating was blasted high when I opened the room door...

On 08/11/16 I stayed at the hotel. I chose the place given it's good location to my business meeting scheduled for the following day. Situated within a pub setting, innkeepers lodge there were drinks and food at reasonable prices. The rooms are somewhat dated but were clean. The beds were quite soft and felt like they needed an overhaul. I...

Booked the last room on the ground floor, smelt damp as soon as we went in which put me off straight away, however the bedding was clean so was ok for 1 night. Looked at the carvery for dinner, however it looked all dried up so not very appealing so walked into the town and had an excellent Indian meal.

We stayed for 1 night whilst visiting the NEC - The location was good with plenty of free parking. The hotel was above the pub/restaurant which didn't cause any problems with noise, but the smells from the carvery that lingered in the corridors wasn't very nice at all. Our room (112) was at the end of a rabbit warren of...

After reading some of the reviews on here we were a it apprehensive, but pleasantly surprised, check in no problem at all, very knowledgable young lady sorted out our booking.we were on the first floor and admittedly the hallways were a bit dingy and smelt strongly of air freshener trying to hide the musky smell, at this point we were...

Stayed for one night while going caravan show. Comfortable warm room with free toiletries, kettle/tea & coffee, tv, good hot shower. Perfect for our needs. Had the carvery in the evening. Had the half chicken. Very good value. I had the continental breakfast in the morning, my husband had all you can eat breakfast. Again very good value. Staff very...

We have stayed at the swan several times over the years, booking through the innkeepers lodge. When I booked I asked for a 1st floor room. But to our surprise we got top floor and the last room all the long corridors. Corridors are filthy, dirty carpets and could do with good decorating. Room very basic. Windows where filthy black...

we stayed here extremely briefly last weekend. We had asked for a ground floor room as I ahve walking difficulties and stairs can be a problem. We were given room 100, woch was the only ground floor room. it was wheelchair accessible so was quite spacious. However, as soon as you walked into the room, there was horrible damp smell...
