Visiting Dickens Christmas markets today we could only get a seat in here for food as everywhere else packed. Thus we realised why. The table cloths had shower curtains covering them the toilets were really disgusting. I am sure Trading Standards would not pass these. The roast very unappetising dry roast potatoes no Yorkshire puddings in all pretty sad looking...

Decided to try again after a bad experience some years ago. What a change! Food price A1. food very good, hot, big home made Yorkshires, separate gravy pot, 4 veg + roast potatoes. Service a little slow, but on an event day in Rochester, understandable. Will definitely be back. What ever you've changed, keep it there, it's now right.

Me and my family stopped here for a Sunday dinner. It looked like a nice kept pub and the pricing was good. The restaurant was to the left as soon as you walked through the door, looked nice and there were a few other couples so we continued. All four of us had a roast dinner which was really good,...

The Hotel proved to be very rundown scaffolding around the building the room was small and very tired needing a update the breakfast was limited and not that good The location was ok for seeing the cathedral and Castle but the high street proved to be rather popular with the clubbing set and turned into a noisy evening/night?

room was clean nicely decorated.. phone didnt work, bulbs odd, a bit like faulty towers staff wise. Piles of new towels in corridor along with a ladder. Could be a charming hotel with more effort from management. china needed to see a dishwasher. It made us chuckle

Perfect location. Situated close to everything you could need. Great service. Warm and friendly. Rooms are a decent size and each with their own tassimo machine and fan (it was a scorching weekend). Will definitely be staying again....here's to next time! Oh and the view from the room.........

The location of the Hotel was excellent no need to take transport to an attraction. However the Hotel does need a face lift to bring it to 21st century. The showers in the rooms did not work to capacity and shower pump would solve the problem in all rooms. A painter and decorator should be used to make the rooms...

Came for a meal...3 courses for £16.95 looked like a good offer. Only starters available on that offer were the pate and soup. Ordered the pate only to be told a few mins later it wasn't available. Then 5 mins later another couple ordered the pate which duly arrived! When questioned the waitress said "they went out and got some!"...

This hotel overlooks Rochester Cathedral and a few minutes from Rochester Castle, River Medway and Train Station, so in a great location on the High Street. It also has a fairly large Car Park. However the rooms at the front of the Hotel are very noisy and for our stay on a Saturday night we were kept awake by drunken...

We had booked into a B&B in Rochester, unfortunately when we got there the place stank and was filthy, we got out of there as soon as possible and made our way to the High Street to try to find alternative accommodation. There had already been 3 nights of concerts in the castle grounds, we were there for the 4th...
