Stayed two nights in August. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the housekeeper, Alison, couldn't have been more helpful. It's quite a grand sea-front house on the cliff and the views from the front of the property are breathtaking. It would be just as appealing in bad weather as you could watch the storm from the drawing room.... More

Spent two nights at this hotel. Warm and friendly welcome. Stayed in Room 1. Small but comfortable but could do with a little sprucing up. Bathroom adequate and clean. Shower over bath - temperature very temperamental but let the hot water run for a while with the shower out of the holder and it settles down!!! Slept very well the... More

Thank you for your feedback We are pleased that you have enjoyed your stay at The Bay Tree You stayed in Room 1, on the ground floor, next to our main entrance. You felt the room needed a 'spruce up'. This room was recently re-decorated including new furnishings (drapes, headboard, luggage rail etc). The Bay Tree will be closing on... More

My husband and myself stayed at the Baytree for one evening, wish we had booked longer. Wonderful room, breakfast, views, location. Everything was perfect. To top it all Broadstairs is a lovely clean and friendly town. Will definitely go back.

We had a really lovely stay at the Bay Tree. The location is perfect, right across the road from a sandy beach and a short walk into town. Fab breakfast in the morning and comfy beds. Broadstairs itself is a great place for children and we stayed the night with our 3 and 7 year old. Would highly recommend this... More

We stayed here for one night making the most of our British sunshine ! I emailed in advance requesting an earlier check in and this was arranged. On arrival we were given the option to upgrade for a sea view room for £6 - this was worth it !! The view from stunning from the room - overlooking Stone Bay... More

We spent 2 nights 3 days at the Hotel, it was amazing; peaceful, and relaxing. the staff was nice and very attentive. The food was top quality. The most comfortable bed we slept in so far. We fell in love with the view that surrounded us at the Bay Tree. Shops and sea at the doorstep. Amazing gateway

The Bay Tree may not quite qualify as boutique - and I doubt it has such pretensions - but it's a comfortable, pleasant overnighter with a smashing location on Busy Broadstairs' grand Eastern Esplanade. A reasonably sized single room with a comfy bed, generous supply of towels and good wifi are a great start. The breakfast was full and extremely... More
