We keep going back because it's so good. We've stayed in almost every room. They're all different but they''re all lovely. Robert and Alastair always make us feel at home. The cooked breakfasts are delicious. And if you decide to have your evening meal there, you won't be disappointed - Alastair is an amazing chef - his Fisherman's Pie is...

Room was overpriced. Terrible ancient shower which kept falling off the wall. No tissues in room, no shaver point. Beds were good but not always made. Cups not always washed. Only three coat hangers. Someone needs to teach them how to cook a breakfast. Their accounting leaves much to be desired. Nice position and they are apparently going to update...

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. The Bay Tree closed on 3rd October for a 6 month refurbishment: this includes knocking into chimneys to create more space for our bathrooms and fitting new bathrooms and wet-rooms, including shaver points. We pride ourselves on the amenities we provide...

It is unfortunate we only booked one night in this lovely B&B but we plan to return for another stay. It is in a prime location over looking the sea and just a short walk into town centre. We had the room with a balcony which was lovely to sit out on and relax. The room was nicely prepared and...

We stayed here for 3 nights in August in room 9. We arrived an hour or two early and were able to park up in their carpark at the back as our room was still be worked on. We did not mind our room not being ready as we were early and so we walked into town which is a...

Superbly positioned, even if you do not get a room with a view. A good breakfast, and many local cafes and pubs offering good meals and snacks. The sea is a very short walk across the road. Gluten free eating was not an issue.

Booked at the Bay Tree only 40 minutes before arriving, eveything was ready for us. Friendly welcome by owner. The room was a good size with excellent sea views. The location is only a 10 minute walk from local town with nice restaurants on the sea front. Breakfast in the morning was all cooked to order and not at all...

Our family had three rooms and stayed 6 nights in this fabulous hotel. The beds in all rooms were so comfortable and we all slept very well. The view from the balcony room was fantastic , sun rise, the moon on the water and sleeping with the curtains and door open listening to the waves was idyllic. Breakfast was superb,...

We stayed in the room with the seaside balcony. Views are stunning. Slept all night with the balcony doors wide open and to the sound of the waves lapping the beach, absolute heaven! The bed was extremely comfortable and we absolutely love the antique style furniture and decor. The bathroom facilities are tiny (hence not full stars) but that will...

We recently spent a night at The Bay Tree Hotel. Bed excellent, breakfast excellent, The evening menu looked very good and reasonably priced, the staff excellent. As it was our anniversary a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on Ice was provided on arrival. The hotel lounge and breakfast room overlooks the sea at Stone Bay. One can sit outside and enjoy...

We stayed for 3 nights in Room 4 - the one with a balcony. Lovely room and great seaview. We appreciated the comfy chair in the room and the seating on the balcony. From the bed, there is a great view of the sea too. As previous reviewers have said, the bathroom facilities are tiny but, as the owners have...
