I had beetroot blue cheese and chicory salad - really enjoyed it fresh and nice - husband had Asian burger he really enjoyed that - and the others in our party enjoyed their food too Good to have tasty food unlike so many venues we felt we had value for our money - and the views and location are pretty

Stopped here for lunch with Mum and sister. Meals arrived fairly quickly. I had Asian vegetarian burger, sister had prawn sandwich with side of sweet potato fries and Mum ordered chefs special of chicken breast in bacon and pea broth. My meal was well presented and of good portion size, my sister also enjoyed her meal, however, the chicken breast... More

The room was lovely, clean, spacious, everything you might want was available (kettle, tea and coffee, hairdryer, dressing gowns, toiletries, heater, extra blankets). What really impressed us was the beautiful sea view from the large bay-window. And the icing on the cake was the fact that our room was used several times by Charles Dickens! This made a perfect end... More

We was walking in Broadstairs for a change also looking for Sunday lunch. The Royal Albion looked inviting lots of different areas to sit. Quick service friendly staff. Very well organised. My husband had the pork which he loved. I had the beef a bit tough but very tasty. The Yorkshire pudding is massive will go again. Great views out... More

I booked the Albany as it has the perfect setting on the harbour in Broadstairs. We were having a three day break with the elderly mother in law so everything had to be perfect! We arrived to glorious sunshine and the outdoor terrace was very appealing. I had telephoned the week before to ensure mums room was on the first... More

Was staying in Broadstairs and looking for dinner. Found the Royal Albion one evening and we just got in; quite popular. Not surprised. The food and service was excellent. They had a good varied menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit so decided to book for our last evening. Not disappointed. Well recommended. Herbie Chappell

The Royal Albion has recently been refurbished. As it was our first visit we have no idea what it used to be like, but it is now a very stylish town centre, seaside hotel. We were there for a mid-week lunch and it was busy with a buzzy atmosphere. It appears to be popular with all age groups. There are... More

A nostalgic trip; last stayed in this Hotel 60 years ago! Booked Superior sea facing double room - £310 for two nights B&B. Public car park 100 yards from Hotel. Assuming there is space the hotel provides a daily ticket to display. Receptionist rather harrassed; struggling with multi tasking. Room was at top; 49 stairs of varying difficulty. No lift... More
