We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location is superb with far reaching views of the beach and sea from the restaurant & rear terrace, from which you can access the promenade The room was clean & well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was superb. The hotel is ideally suited as a base to... More

Nice coffee, snacks and surroundings, let down by the state of the tables. Aware it was sunny /busy, however, loads of staff and loads of dirty cups/plates and rubbish, shame . Staff friendly but maybe alergic to tidying?

We dined on a Sunday evening in the bar area. The bar area and the setting looking out to sea were lovely so our expectations of a delicious meal were high. Sadly we were very disappointed, 3 out of our 4 choices were not available and the food that was available when it did arrive was very average. A shame... More

Lovely rooms, nicely done up but the staff need to up their game as this place could do so much better with service and organisation. Opt for a sea view room and best eat in another restaurant. As I said real shame as it just needs a shake up!

We stayed 3 days in the albion during one of the warmest weeks of the summer so we saw broadstairs at its best. We had room 33 which is a family room at the town side of the hotel. There were no noise issues and the room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. It was on the top... More

Don't get me wrong. The hotel is clean, has amazing sea views and great summery atmosphere but the food leaves alot to be desired. I live in Broadstairs and have been at The Albion several times with family and friends so it is sad that we have to eat elsewhere then go to the Albion for refreshments only. The menu... More

Very friendly hotel. Clean, well maintained. Only grouse no car park, reception will give permits for local car park. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Staff friendly especially as they were busy with the folk festival. We felt relaxed also rejuvenated jigging to the music from the entertainment. Thank you all. Will be back soon.

This is a great place to sit in and people watch. The food and staff are hit and miss, we've had a couple of good meals and a couple of average ones. Likewise with the staff, some good, some can't be bothered. But the views are fantastic, especially if you're lucky enough to get a window seat and it's very... More

Very very ordinary salad which was way overpriced at £8.00. First & last time we shall be eating there. Rude waitress, dirty surroundings, and some young waiter making too much noise while putting the empty bottles away.
