Everything in this hotel is really lovely! Location is right in the center of the town! Breakfast was decent. Anyway, one can easily grab a bite from nearby bakeshops, cafe or restaurants. The lady at the restaurant allowed me to take some breakfast even if the breakfast time was over! Great Dutch hospitality! I find my room at the attic... More

Visit Harderwijk, book this nice small hotel. Everything nearby, the terras, cafe, restaurants. Nice room, clean and at the back of the hotel very quiet to have a good night rest. Make sure you have dinner at the restaurant were you also have breakfast. For €35 a 6 course dinner.

Located in the centre of Harderwijk so you can discover the town on foot. You can park your car in the hotel parking garage, but you do have to walk (about 3 min) to the hotel because it is located in a pedestrian zone. It is perfectly alright for one night - basic but good value - wifi no problem.... More

This hotel sits in a pedestrian plaza surrounded by stores, nice restaurants and a 3 minute walk to the lake. The lake and farmland at Harderwijk is a beautiful example of reclaimed land since 0ver 25% of the country is below sea level. This lake was reclaimed from the sea and is now a "Sweet Water" lake and a beautiful... More

The dish of the day was a selection of fish with salad and cornbread. It was tastefully presented, the cappuchino good and the outdoor seating area beautifully situated in the church square with streets leading to all the attractions in Harderwijk.

We decided to overnight in the delightful town of Harderwijk having flown into Holland earlier that day. Choosing the Hotel Marktzicht because of its central location was inspirational as the hotel was not only ideally located for exploring the town, and only a few minutes walk to the Dolphinarium, but it was also a delightful hotel in its own right.... Nicely located, in the middle of this nice town. Nice informative people, at the reception. Parking facilities are great. Breakfast was continental, rooms a large, and café/restaurants around the corner. Partly walling from middle ages. Nice.

Very good location in centre of town, but parking nearby is difficult. Bars nearby can be very busy. Small private hotel, basic rooms in a old building. Wifi is not easily available so not good for business travel.
