Stayed one night - the welcome was warm - but for the price, which was different to that advertised on the hanging sign - it lacked the refinements of other establishments in that price bracket. There was a single hairdryer in the communal kitchen area, from which you were invited to make a drink when required. This small area comprised... More

We have just had a one night stay at Barnawee. It was a lovely experience. Walked into town via greenway path and found a restaurant which Michelle had recommended. It was handy to have the use of a small kitchen - plenty of fresh milk, coffee and tea. Also tins of biscuits. Lovely breakfast. Thank you Michelle - we will... More

The owner was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Nice view of the bay from our room. The cooked part of the breakfast was good but everything else was poor. Generally very average/poor for the price of €40 per person.

Michelle was a fantastic hostess who was able to recommended a local taxi and advise of us where the best places to go in Dungarvan were. We Really enjoyed our time in the b&b. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view of the lake from the room. Lovely warm atmosphere. The room was of very high standard. If we ever decide to... More

This B&B is on the outskirts of Dungarvan and there is a very nice footpath that takes about 30-40 minutes to walk into town. From the B&B you can also drive the beautiful Copper Coast drive towards Tramore, which is highly recommended. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom had a nice powerful shower. There was a kitchenette further... More

Stayed for 1 night only in October. Room and ensuite generous, clean, with nearby guest kitchen to make unlimited tea/coffee. Hosts very friendly and generous. Two things stand out - 1) Great views and lots of wildlife on the shore (saw a kingfisher) and 2) Totally excellent breakfast. Wifi in room a little unreachable but free downstairs.

Super family-run B&B in a lovely location on the outskirts of Dungarvan. Lovely spacious rooms, helpful hosts and a lovely view from the room. Plenty of parking Nothing to fault, really. There are no worries about booking here.

Family run B & B that screams "Come back!" Michelle is mother hen looking after her family of boys and guests without seeming to break out in a sweat. I am sure the reality is different but she doesn't show it. Homemade bread, preserves and an Irish breakfast to make Desperate Dan take a short break between mouthfuls. The rooms... More

The room was nice with a great view and the breakfast set us up for the day. Homemade brown bread was delicious. There is a great path from the house across a causeway that is away from the road and traffic for most often the 30 minute walk into town.

Not sure where to start - beautiful setting overlooking the bay, warm inviting host. About the bed : lovely comfortable bed and bedclothes, great pressure in the shower, mild, restful décor and very spacious room. Big window with lovely view. Little extras like well stocked bookshelves, WIFI and even a guest kitchenette. Now to Breakfast : lovely, freshly-cooked breakfast, generous... More
