My husband and I loved this place. It was clean, quiet, spacious and the people there were very friendly and spoke terrific English. We even had our own parking space! They cooked a delicious Saturday night dinner, it was one of the best dinners of our entire trip! Their wine was very good also! Our room had a fireplace, hot...

We stayed two nights in a large studio apartment in an old stone building on the grounds of a Brunello winery. We loved the large room with a huge fireplace for a fire in the evenings. The kichenette was perfect for cooking simple meals, a delight to shop in the local market and then have a dinner that didn't cost...

If your looking to truly experience Tuscany and the wine country of Italy, La Crociona should be your destination. The beautiful estate is exactly what you would invision for a vineyard in Tuscany. This was our second visit and will not be our last. Barbara, Fiorella, Roberto and the entire family and staff (Giulia) made this a trip to remember....

http://www.lacrociona.com/eng_index.asp Idyllic setting, wonderful people, outstanding wine, spacious rooms, great location, reasonable prices, I don’t know what more you could ask. I have stayed here several times and it keeps getting better and better. They have added a hot tub and exercise room as well as a new wine cellar and tasting room. The website has improved and shows an...

The family of this farm/vineyard is very sweet. I would definatley stay here again. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious. They provided us with coffee and tea which were both delicious. The shower was very hot and the bed very comfortable. The wine of La Crociona is very good as well and fairly priced. If in...

Don't believe any negative reviews of this place. As someone who has stayed here a few times and also lived in Italy for four years, this place is a gem. The family who runs it are kind, sweet people and they have turned this little vineyard-farm into quite a paradise. Only a few minutes south of Montalcino, La Crociona is...

We had to cancel our trip due to a crisis at home and giving Barbara and family 18 days notice of cancellation, they cashed our $100 USD check. All other 5 Bed and Breakfast accommodtions, including less that a week's notice, did not charge a cancellation fee. This agritourismo did not send to us their cancellation policy, but said they...

Last week I spent three days at La Crociona. It was a wonderful experience. Fiorella, Roberto and Giulia made us feel very welcome. We rented a two bedroom apartment that was very spacious. We toured the wine cellar and learned how they harvest their grapes and produce their wines. The location was excellent to visit Montalcino and the Banfi Vineyards....

We were two couples travelling together and we stayed in Unit A for four nights. We were welcomed like family by the owners and immediately felt at home. The apartment is not big, but it is very clean and comfortable, and includes everything needed for a comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the lovely covered terrace and made use of the...

La Crociona will stand out to as one of my favorite Italian memories. We had a lovely time with Roberto and Barbara over food and wine, amazing how you communicate with little English and Italian! Really felt very welcome, loved the apartment that had a fireplace (it was cozy on the cooler nights) and would go back. Have been recommending...
