The check in was efficient and friendly and the owner took us to our room. We already knew from previous reviews the rooms would be fairly simple. This meant our expectations were managed, however, we were still slightly taken aback by the very basic and small room. The bathroom was in the corner of the room with a folding door,...

I stayed here for a cheap stay August Bank holiday as my niece was getting married at one of the villa's up the road and so it was very convenient. I was giving a friendly greeting and quickly checked in and shown to my room, which must have been the smallest room I've every stayed in, but as I was...

When I arrived I was met at the desk and immediately was asked for my credit card, no hello or how are you. It was hot about 90 or higher with some humidity. I was shown to my room by a young man and it was up 3 flights of stairs, he never offered to help with my luggage. When...

Azalea-63, Proprietario at Hotel Azalea, responded to this review

When customers arrive at the hotel after they have presented a document is required of them for the regular recording of data not the credit card as incorrectly delivered by the "Mr" Cerbo. L 'Hotel Azalea is a two star simple and clean with a reasonable price for the lack of some amenities that are found in other more expensive...

After being recommended this restaurant , we were terribly disappointed with the food and service. 3 of the party ordered fillet steak only to be served a really cheap cut of tough meat !!! The service was atrocious , in that the one and only waiter appeared to be serving the whole restaurant, We are the type of people who...

I stayed for the second time at hotel azalea on Lake Como. It was just as pleasant and nice as the first time. Nice family run hotel. I always love their breakfast too!! Perfect spot on the lake with nice restaurants within walking distance .

Seems to family owned and friendly to guests. Over the top service and breakfast. Rooms are clean and have modern bathrooms. Lakeside rooms are large with great views. Other rooms are adequate and not to fantasy. But for the price, service, cleanliness and breakfast, a must do! Internet was not very consistently on.

Although we only stayed one night whilst on our way to visit the Villa Balbienello we enjoyed the real Italian welcome from this small hotel right on the lake front. We were given a family room on the side of the hotel, which was large and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also a good size with an excellent shower. Hotel...

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location on the lake is perfect. The rooms are old and tired. We found the staff to be polite but not friendly. The rooms are overpriced but it seems normal in these locations. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was ok but had to wait one hour for service because they were...
