Due to COVID-19 we could not go on our holiday in August. We had booked through hotels.com but they said that they had talked to the hotel and that they didn’t want to refund us. It was a non-refundable stay, so naturally it was acceptable but sad. I wrote an email directly to the hotel and got an extremely sweet, helpful and professional response. They had full understanding for the situation and of course wanted to help us. So they cancelled our stay and we got a full refund. When we will go to South Italy next we will definitely visit. Thank you for great service and understanding 🙏🏼
Great property, amazing views, clean and safe. The hotel has a shuttle bus to vietri sul mare and offers rooms with a small jacuzzi in the balcony. Great balance quality vs price. Francesco at the front desk and the breakfast team where fantastic. Would totally recommend.
The location of this hotel is superb - it is a short walk into town but the shuttle is recommended as you are always dodging traffic. We ate there the first night after a day of travel - we were advised after we sat down that it was a set menu that night due to a large group dining there - a dozen people at the most. They tried to make our meal great and gave us a few extras but the main course of gnocchi was not that good and definitely not home made. A disappointing meal. The hotel did accommodate out last minute reservation (two weeks Prior) if we stayed one night in one of the more expensive junior suites - no problem for us but after leaving the suite the next day for 5 hours, they did not have our room ready for us and seemed to prefer the new guests over us. They’re were both nice rooms but as a previous traveller mentioned, there was a serious sewer smell in the junior suite the first morning - pretty gross. It is a nice hotel but needs a little extra love for what they charge.…
This hotel is a lovely quiet small hotel, with great sea views from balcony. Shame the pool was so cold. Modern hotel, good facilities. Dinner we had the mussels and clams, was great. There was a shuttle bus to the cute town, with ceramic shops and restaurants. Best pizza ever at Divine vietri. The staff here are so fab. The gentleman on reception was always available to plan our stay. The waiter at dinner, with helpful advice. The breakfast was simple, with different cakes everyday. The lovely lady waitress at breakfast, went out of her way to make sure I got my favourite choc chip cake, when it wasn't on the days menu. Thank you all for a special stay. It deserved a review posting.
Overlooking the ocean, about a 10 minute walking distance to the town. The hotel has parking. The staff is efficient- especially Francesco at the front desk. Ima, who is a server at hotel, provided us with insightful information on local places and things to see and do, as well as dinner recommendation at Il Limonetto. The hotel does have a restaurant and buffet breakfast is included. It has a relaxing and beautiful pool terrace. The rooms are large, modern and clean. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean, which I would highly recommend in getting. We drove from Sorrento on the most curvy and narrow road along the Amalfi coast, with a lunch and sightseeing stop in Positano. Well worth the drive, it was enjoyable to stay at Relais Paradiso where it’s less touristy.
