We had the best stay ever here! Beautiful hotel and they really have thought of everything! They have hair dryer under the sink so don’t need to take one, they even provide shaving, sewing and toothbrush sets in the room.
My main tips would be to hire a car from the hotel, we did 2 days which cost only €115 and took the car to lindos (beautiful sandy beach) and Rhodes old town. Taxis are very dear from this hotel as it’s fairly out of the way so it’s well worth getting a car. I would also take a mirror with a light as the rooms are very dark but the beds are really comfortable. There is a main strip of shops and restaurants only around 20 min walk away, I think the road was called Eucalyptus street or something.
In terms of the food, you NEED to order the Chicken Bao buns, we changed the yellow mayo for spicy mayo and WOW WOW WOW WOW. Garlic bread from the Italian and the Caesar salad - Unbelievable!! The staff were absolutely amazing, but I will say this hotel is the most strict I’ve been to in terms of leaving your stuff on a sun bed before breakfast, you can’t get away with it at all. The hotel staff will take your stuff to the bar and you can’t use your own drinks around the pool, all of this is completely fair enough, I’ve just never had an issue with it at any other hotel I have stayed at so something to consider.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable stay with us. It’s great to know that you found our amenities, like the hair dryer and complimentary toiletries, to be convenient. We appreciate your tip about hiring a car—it’s definitely a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings. Your feedback on the mirror with lighting and the restaurant recommendations is also valuable; we’re glad you enjoyed the Chicken Bao buns, garlic bread, and Caesar salad. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our pool policy. We strive to maintain a fair and comfortable environment for all our guests. Your comments will help us improve our services. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!

We stayed for 6 nights at Cooks club with the half board package.

+ Positives: Aesthetic boho style hotel, friendly staff and service, all the amenities you would need are available within walking distance (shop, restaurants, bus stop, car rental next to reception). Location is convenient - about 40mins drive from the airport, Lindos and Rhodes old town. The hotel grounds and rooms look exactly the same as the photos! Rooms are clean, shower water pressure was amazing. WiFi connection/speeds were good. The food at the breakfast buffet had everything you would expect - all drinks except water has to be served to you by a member of staff. The dinner is a four course meal which changes every day of the week - a nice change to your typical buffet which can feel repetitive. Some dinner nights were definitely better than others but the soup was always good. The staff are very hardworking and always greet you with a smile which is very much appreciated.

- Negatives: It seems that all rooms have two single beds pushed together to form a "double bed". We asked for twin room but had to pull the beds apart ourselves. The pool by the pool bar played music very loudly but was not our cup of tea (club vibes). The pool by the cantina plays music but with less volume ( we preferred this location). It seemed they played different music in a lot of areas and it can be a bit overwhelming. I had to buy some earplugs because the rooms are not very soundproof and evening entertainment is usually very loud and lasts until 11/midnight. Alcoholic + non-alcoholic drinks were just okay but quite expensive for what they were. I would recommend just going to the supermarket next door and buying beverages there. Can't comment on the wine selection.
Would be great if the hotel had seperate smoking/non smoking pool areas so that non-smoking guests don't return home with lung cancer from second hand smoke.

* Neutral: No kettle for coffee or tea. No iron or slippers in the room. There was no body lotion. I've stayed in several 5 star hotels which provide all of this. Reading some of the reviews, I can see that some guests went on wine tasting organised by the hotel but we were not aware of this.
All hotel information/menus are digital, so no hard copies.
We only brought backpacks so storage for clothes etc. was fine but if you have large suitcases/staying for longer there is not as much space to store your things.

Recommendations:
- Earplugs are a must if you are a light sleeper. If you like to sleep early: this is not the place for you!!!
- Would recommend renting a car (Rodos cars are everywhere) and exploring.
- Recommend bringing snorkel/goggles for the sea. Kolympia beach is fine, Tsambikos beach is only 10min drive, Stegna beach is also very close. Definitely recommend visiting Archangelos cave as well!

The dreamiest week and best holiday in a long time!!
Firstly, the hotel decor and aesthetic is divine. The staff!!!!!! Beyond amazing!! We did not encounter one member of staff who wasn’t cordial, everyone was polite and happy to see you.

We arrived late at night and they had prepared snack boxes for all guests which included ham, cheese and salad wraps and tortillas. Our room was cute, with minimalistic decor and had enough space for us and all our belongings. The whole hotel was spotless.

Breakfast was also one of the best we’ve had in a hotel, although I will say we felt it ended a bit too early (10:30am). Some mornings we would’ve enjoyed a long lay-in and late breakfast but we had to make sure to get there on time. Nevertheless, all super tasty and you could sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views while eating.
Food in general was delicious in all the restaurants within the hotel and you could also order room service or ‘pool’ service, which was great. The cocktails were also super nice!

They played very chilled house type music around the pool all day and in the evenings. On a Thursday they had performers singing and involving all guests in a little boogey which was super fun and the singers were so talented! The rooms aren’t soundproof but we didn’t mind the noise at all, in fact we personally quite enjoyed it and music never played past 11/11:30pm.

The spa is absolutely beautiful and the massages were equally as beautiful. But to get to the spa was a little tricky if you didn’t know the way so definitely leave in plenty of time.
The beach is a 3 minute walk down the road from the hotel but we did have to pay 15€ for the sun loungers and umbrella which took us by surprise, but there is also a free beach you can use.

We also hired a quad for 4 out of the 6 days (thank you to Gesti who took such good care of us) and on our last day we hired a car. We’d 1000% recommend hiring the quad. It was so much fun and we actually travelled quite far on it!

We did not want to leave this place and will definitely be returning next year. It was hand on heart one of the best holidays we’ve had and definitely a very special place for us.

Shoutout to all the staff!

Cooks clubs kolymbia is a recently refurbished retreat, all rooms, public areas and pools are brand new and in perfect condition. The relaxed boho aesthetic passing through the hotel from one area to the other helps create an instant sense of calm and relaxation.

Both pools are stunning featuring draw dropping views as the hotel is situated in between a rocky hill range (mountain goats included!) The Pool bar by the larger bar is flawless, a great asset to the hotel.

Although we were not a fan of the Kolymbia beach resort itself due to it being very tourist heavy with large hotels and slightly tacky bars (sorry!), we found it was in the useful location of being directly in the middle of both Rhodes old town and Lindos Village, both a must visit with local buses going to both making exploring the island very easy!
Tip: buses always run about 15 mins late.

The staff themselves were fantastic and extremely helpful, small touches go a long way!

Our overall stay was great, it’s definitely a good 4star hotel and I would definitely highly recommend.

Improvements:
Breakfast was slightly chaotic everyday.
- Coffees taking over 20 mins to arrive daily.
- Forgetting drinks orders, never bringing any milk with the breakfast tea even after requesting?
- I did find it strange there was not an iron to quickly borrow from the front desk, the steaming service sounds great but not in a rush.

Easy fix for breakfast is to have set staff for smaller areas of tables rather than all staff running around trying to collectively keep guests happy.

To all staff at Cooks Club, Thank you for a great holiday!

8/10

We spent two wonderful weeks at Cooks Club in Rhodes from late April to early May 2024 and can highly recommend this place! It was one of the best experiences we had in a hotel – and this despite having been a guest in many five-star hotels.

The service was absolutely outstanding. The whole staff was always friendly, helpful and really made us feel completely comfortable. We noticed particularly positively how attentive and friendly the staff paid attention to small details to make our stay even more pleasant.

The food was another highlight. We have not experienced such excellent quality and variety in any other hotel. Every day there were new, creative dishes that not only tasted fantastic, but were also visually appealing. Especially the evening menus have always inspired us.

The spa treatments were also very good.

The hotel itself impresses with its modern design, relaxed atmosphere and excellent location, allowing you to enjoy both the peace and quiet of the hotel and explore the surrounding area.

All in all, we can recommend Cooks Club Rhodes 100%. Our experience was all around positive and we are sure we will book here again. We award 11 out of 10 points – it was just perfect!

We arrived late at night, but were greeted well, entering our room we were excited 😊 as it's lovely.
Following day, the view from our room was of the pizza restaurant and mountain. So lovely mesmerising views.
We had two single beds pushed together, which was ok but would've preferred a double bed. Although the bed was very comfortable.
The outdoor areas of the hotel are amazing, lot's of relaxation areas, gym area, bars and the 2 pools were nice and clean. Most days sun bed's were taken which was a shame if you wanted to sunbathe by yhe oool areas, but we relaxed on on the hammocks and swinging chairs.
There is music playing at all times which is the ethos of the hotel to make it fun and give it a dance vibe. Although not many people joined in the dancing and preferred to stay on sun bed's. Would be nice to have some different types of music as well, not only dance songs. We had a lovely boogie one day and the bar staff joined in with us, it was a lovely atmosphere.
Breakfast was lovely. Lot's of variety of dishes available and tou could eat as much as you wanted.
There is a shop/supermarket, right outside the hotel and many others locally to get snacks etc, good price as well.
Bus stop is right outside, so scan the bar code for correct times, you can travel both ways to Lindos / Old Town Rhodes. Only 4 euros per person one way. Bargain!
Beach is near by only few mins walk away, which is has sand/pebbles. You can hire a sunbed for 6 euros. Lovely staff at the hotel, who looked after us everyday especially Nikolina , Yannis, Yari, Socrates and Ava. All went above and beyond to make our stay special.
Please could you place a bin in the room so guests don't have to keep going to toilet to get rid of rubbish.
I highly recommend this hotel, its ideal location wise as you're in the middle so can travel to most tourist places easily.
One morning we went for a walk on the mountain, it was such lovely experience, highly recommend for others to go and explore. On Friday night there was a live band so that was nice to listen to some classic pop songs. We sang along and had a dance.
We had a great holiday and hope everyone finds this review useful while booking.
Thanks Cooks Club Hotel 😊

We arranged our transport from the airport with the hotel directly. The driver was there to meet us and the car was just outside the door. He was professional and friendly, a really nice guy.

Check in at the hotel went really smoothly and they arranged for our bags to be taken to our room by a really polite young man. After we unpacked it was quite late as we didn’t get to the hotel until 10.30pm.
We went down to the little bar at the pool (the smaller of the two pools). We were served by Ourznia (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) who was so lovely. Both Ourznia and Stavraula (again sorry if this is misspelled) looked after us so well the week we stayed here. They were both so attentive and friendly so thank you both so much.

We had a wonderful housekeeper who cleaned our room Ginka (again sorry for any misspelling) she was fantastic and kept our room spotless and also arranged my nightshirt beautifully on the bed. When we were checking out my husband was over at reception and she and her colleague just lifted a case each and carried them down the stairs for us. The room was a great size and the fridge was cold which is unusual for Europe.

We ate both in the Asian and Italian restaurants and would definitely recommend both, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, thank you to Giannis in the Italian and to Stefanos in the Asian restaurant who made our experience so enjoyable.

We were bed and breakfast and couldn’t fault the selection of foods. Our only tiny complaint was that on 3 or 4 days the bacon was cold (not cool but cold). Other than that we were happy with everything else.

The pool areas were beautifully kept and when the hotel was busy, it was good to see staff remove towels when guests had left them out early and they didn’t come back for hours to use them.

Live entertainment was great, especially the mowtown/drifters tribute.
The only downside is the glasses of wine were 7euro each and not terribly great or generous.

We would recommend this hotel 100% thank you to all management and staff for your wonderful hospitality.

Large room with very little storage, you have an open hanger rail and a couple of drawers. Only a coffee machine in the room, no kettle, tea, or iron. The rooms are not soundproofed but seem to be fine after 23:00.

The sunbeds around the pool are about eight inches from the ground. Some are just a foam pad on the floor it may look cool, but they are impractical and uncomfortable. You can not reserve beds, which is good, but any bed left for more than 15 minutes will have your items removed.

You are not allowed your own soft drinks around the pool. Only those bought from the bar are allowed. That includes water it is rather strange watching adults surreptitiously eating crisps and drinking water from their bags.

Breakfast is good but only the water is self-service all other drinks need to be served by a member of staff. Which can take a while as they can be extremely busy.

I recommend going half board as the evening meals are very good, it is an ever changing menu served at your table. Our waitress Rafaela was always smiling, and nothing was too much trouble.

WiFi and Aircon are excellent. Most nights, the entertainment is a dj on the couple of nights they had live bands it was very good.

The Bus to Rhodes only 4 euro from outside the  Hotel you are also very close to a supermarkets and the beach which was great for swimming.

Stavroula was very, very helpful when we had a room problem. Her customer service was very impressive.

Some of my comments may seem a bit negative, but we did enjoy our stay and would certainly go back.

A fabulous hotel and great location.
I’m not sure why other reviews are negative unless they are just moaning people!!
The hotel is very friendly all staff are helpful from the Catina stuff to the bars, Italian and Asia Restaurants.
The rooms are great, hairdryer, mini fridge, safe, air conditioning. The beds and pillows super comfortable. Towels changed daily and beds every other day.
Pool/beach towels are free from the bar at the pool. Beach 10 minutes walk subbed €15 for two beds parasol and table.
Bus stop outside the hotel taking you to Rhodes and Lindos €4 each way. The supermarket is there too.
Friday afternoon wine tasting at the Italian restaurant is a must, plenty of wine and nibbles for €26 each.
The breakfast is a buffet there was so much choice of hot and cold food. Dinner if you are half board like us is a set menu with two choices.
All information is via the hotel app which includes times and menus.
We arrive late evening so had missed our meal we were given a voucher to seat the Italian or Asia Restaurants which we did, pizzas are amazing.
There are two pools with plenty of sun beds.
Just to elevate the hotel I would suggest a bottle of water in rooms each day not just on arrival and a box of tissues. Only little things just to make a difference.
We throughly enjoyed our two week stay and would definitely recommend Cooks Club.

Me and my bestfriend came here for 4 nights at the beginning of May.

The location of the hotel was good - we were right next to the sea (we didn’t venture out to find a nearby beach) our hotel room was literally right on top of the shop which has everything you could need and more, and there were plenty restaurants around. The bus stop to Rhodes town was right outside too!

The rooms were soo nice, so aesthetically pleasing and gives that boho vibe. They were spacious and clean. More than enough room for 2 people!

The hotel itself is unreal, the detail is amazing and such a sick hotel. It was really quiet when we went, so I don’t know if that made me like it more or not (prefer a bit more atmosphere in the evenings). Most days there were spare sunbeds, these were SO comfy!!! You get towels too so you don’t need to bring your own (although we already did). All staff are friendly and defo fit the vibe of the hotel.

The food was amazing. We booked bed and breakfast - breakfast has everything you could want, was defo a bit posh for us but was amazing nonetheless. The Italian restaurant was a hit for us, the pizza is unbelievable and the CEASER SALAD😮‍💨 we ordered this around the pool too (just went to the pool bar and they ordered it for us and charged it to our room (or you could pay there). Cocktails were decent too!

This has nothing to do with the hotel but the bus from Kolymbia (our stop was ‘Kolymbia Beach I believe) was PACKED. If it wasn’t so cheap I’d actually just rather a taxi but taxi would’ve been like €40 each way. If you get hot make sure you take a fan and water for the bus ride and buy tickets for your return time as soon as you get off the bus otherwise you’ll be waiting in a hefty queue to get tickets for the bus you want which don’t come too often ngl. I’m not joking, there was at leader 50 people standing in the bus between isles and in the walkways etc (was horrible). And this wasn’t even peak season

Overall tho, this hotel is a must if you’re not fussed about going all inclusive and just want a chill one!

It’s great to know you enjoyed the location, aesthetics, and comfort of our rooms, as well as the quality of the food and service. We appreciate your feedback about the bus service; we understand that it can be quite crowded and inconvenient, and we’ll take your comments into consideration. Dear Christian, Cook's Club Kolymbia is not isolated and actually has a good location for exploring! Here's a breakdown: Kolymbia Village: The hotel sits about 0.8 miles from the center of Kolymbia, so you can easily reach restaurants, shops, and local atmosphere. Beaches: Kolymbia Beach is just 350 meters away, offering relaxation right on your doorstep. Tsambika Beach, known for its beauty and water sports, is also just 6 kilometers away. Island Exploration: The hotel's website mentions the island's rich history and mythology, making it a great base for venturing out and discovering Rhodes. So, while it might not be a bustling city center, Cook's Club Kolymbia offers a good balance of relaxation and opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Sincerely, The Cook's Club Kolymbia Team
