Don't be put off by the reviews. The hotel has obviously smartened up its act and renamed . Now the Belvita. The staff were great and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are fine. The pool and bar area is nice. Food is OK and what you might expect from an all inclusive. The beach is about 10 minutes walk and there is a daily bus. Local restaurants and bars are also about 10 minutes away on foot.

I don't recommend this hotel. Very disappointed. This is not a 4 stars hotel. Definitely not like in pictures. The food is not good, it is almost the same everyday, and not so tasty. It doesn't give us the impression of a clean place. The rooms don't look cosy at all. The towels were dirty. They are asking 10 euros per day for using the air conditioning. Otherwise you don't have the remote. We had a room with a double bed and two single mattresses on it which were running away on sides, and we were falling between them on the wood support. Not a good sleep at all. The all inclusive system is not really all inclusive, just between 10h30 to 22h30. Soft drinks are disgusting, sparkling water was ok. If you want to go to a 4 stars hotel, I don't recommend this place, bad experience.

The hotel is very nice. Unfortunately upon arrival our room had few issues- the shower was missing doors and the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. As we arrived very late with two children I didn’t want to make a fuss at night and I went to reception first thing in the morning to address the issues. We had most of the issues sorted out straight away and were also advised that if another room becomes available we can move. We although decided to stay as it wasn't a big deal. The hotel is lovely , two swimming pools , the food is not as much Greek as I would excepted and it’s mostly European but lovely, warm and lots to choose from. No issues with freshness so no tummy problems 😊. BBQ and pizza by the pool are great. Choice of drinks and cocktails is ok, and always/mostly available. The downside for me is the space for children- the hotel pictures shows small playground but atm is only slide left in there, so if anyone chose to stay there all day everyday kids have nothing else to do except play at the pool which is also only opened from 10-18. The staff at the hotel are lovely, especially reception ladies. Overall we had a lovely time there but we did not plan to stay at the hotel all day long, so for someone who wants all inclusive all day long stay could get a bit boring , as the entertainment is mostly in the evening- if any and nothing much for children. We would happily give 5 stars but I think the fact that the room was not ready and with a few issues let the hotel down. I think working and clean showers are the bare minimum when you are welcoming guest, especially families with children, so I think it’s worth to address this issues as it seems like most of bad reviews are regarding that. Would we come back? - yes as this is a lovely hotel in good location in beautiful part of Rhodes. Bus stops are few minutes away, port is not very far, so you can walk and catch a boat to most of top locations and the surrounding beaches are amazing . Stunning place.

worst hotel we’ve ever been to, please please do not stay here! The hotel looks nothing like the pictures (I have added a photo of what the rooms really look like). The rooms are filthy, bedding was dirty and some bed sheets were even yellow. The beds and furniture are broken and air conditioning is an additional €10 per day. Our shower was completely missing a door and the silicon strip was handing out of the shower. The WiFi does not work and when we asked reception about this they said they would reset it, they never did - this happened everyday. You can only get all inclusive cocktails from 5:30pm so they only serve cheap wine and beer during the day which is crazy for all inclusive. The food was disgusting, undercooked and inedible as can be seen by the photos. The staff were so rude and threatened to kick us out due to how much we complained (at no point were we rude and we were complaining to our travel agent not the hotel). We moved rooms but in the end we had to move hotels due to how awful the hotel was.

I was really disappointed from the moment of the arrival. The card key didn't work after so many attempts I had to go back to the reception where I actually found out that we have to pay for the air-conditioning for 5 days =€50. Also you have to pay €15 for the safe which is not in your room. The sheets looked like they not been changed with hairs and stains, so many stains on the pillows as well, absolutely awful. I asked stuff to change the sheets and towels. The beds ( two single beds ) look like they are for children not for adults very cheap with very bad matress. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, hair everywhere. The small fridge had lots of marks on top and dirty inside. I have never stayed in such a dirty place and this hotel supposed to be 4 stars 🌟. So many ants in the room and after we asked stuff for a spray noone even cared to bring for us. I cant even give this hotel one star. The hot water you can enjoy only in the morning and early afternoon, not sure what the reason was that the hot water was not available all throughout the day. The food was cold and too salty and no diet drinks or no sugar was available. We were having meals outside in the restaurants as we paid all inclusive. What the waste of money. Please, staff and management buy new sheets, new towels, the hotel needs a renovation, new beds , 🛌, new furniture bathrooms need some renovation too. Only the positive things was that we spent our days far away from the hotel in Faliraki Beach which is absolutely amazing and lovely beach restaurants there.

I was really nervous about staying here after reading the reviews. Having read the reviews I was fully aware that we had to pay for the air conditioning we budgeted this in.The food was much better than expected. We are a family that always go all-inclusive and are aware it can get repetitive but there was always a couple of different options. Snacks through the day of pizza hotdogs and cheese and ham toasties. Soft drinks were good didn't taste cheap. On our second day my husband woke with a tooth infection. Michalia behind reception went out of her way to call around dentists and find one to see him then called us a taxi to get there. All the reception staff were brilliant so friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. We found sunbeds every day without getting up at the crack of dawn to put towels on and there was a choice of 2 pools. We would definitely return to this hotel.

My husband and I booked this hotel as a last minute getaway after our wedding. We married on the Saturday, booked on the Sunday and flew out on the Monday. When we arrived at the hotel at 11.30pm on the Monday night, we tried to check in however the hotel could not find our booking - we had booked less than 48 hours before so we thought it just must be an error. A whole hour later the man finally confirmed our booking and gave us our room key. Absolutely shattered from travelling we headed up to our room only to get there and our key card not work. I waited in the corridor with our luggage whilst my husband went back down to reception. After 2 more attempts up and down with different key cards, the man from reception had to come up and let us into our room with the master key. By this time it was 1am and the music from the pool area was still playing so loud, it was like a nightclub, I felt sorry for anyone staying there with kids. Finally on entering our room, we walked in to what looked nothing like the pictures online at all. Our room was very small, with 2 single beds pushed together to make a double, old stained towels, a broken and dirty toilet, furniture that was very old and scratched, a shower that wasn’t fixed to the wall, and very stained and dirty walls. Our balcony was parallel to another row of balconies so the view was non existent and very claustrophobic. I sat on the bed and just cried, I had seen better hostels and I immediately wanted to go home. We straight away rang up our holiday company and was told to send pictures and they will be in touch the following day. It was unbelievably hot in the room so we had no choice but to pay for air conditioning, my husband went down to reception once again to see if we could pay for 1 nights air conditioning as we didn’t plan on staying but was told we must pay for the week so we had to pay €70 for the air conditioning there and then. (Not that it worked particularly well) The following day my husband went straight to reception first thing to finally get a key card so we were both able to actually leave our room. our holiday company we’re not much help at all and we were told to sort our problems out with the hotel directly. The lady on reception was a lot more helpful that morning and we complained to her about all our issues, she came up to our room to see our problems and moved us to a much bigger room with an actual double bed. (The room was still dirty though as we found a half smoked cigarette on our floor and neither of us smoke) We tried to draw a line as we were only there for 5more days so we tried to make the best of a bad situation. Unfortunately things didn’t get much better, my husband and I are not fussy eaters at all but we did expect the food to be hot atleast, the beans at breakfast were almost always cold, However I will say a big Thankyou to micheal who makes the pancakes at breakfast as without him and his cooking I would have gone hungry. Lunch was pretty much always the same - I ended up having chips with bolognese which again was only lukewarm. A couple of days they did do a bbq outside though which they should definitely do more of because it was actually really delicious. Pizza slices were served every afternoon from the pizza oven outside which were also nice. We didn’t stay at the hotel for dinner even once as the food was just not for us. We always had a look to see what the food was but always ended up going to a restaurant on the main strip despite being all inclusive. There was a very poor choice of desserts too. The cocktails were very nice however they were only served all inclusive between 5.30 - 10.30pm, outside these hours you had to pay. During the day all inclusive drinks included soft drinks, beer or wine, however they had ran out of cola for half of our stay. All drinks were served in plastic tumblers even on an evening. On returning to our room the hotel had put flowers on our bed and given us a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon which was a nice touch. Our bedsheets seemed to get changed every other day whereas our towels got changed twice during our 7 night stay - with us only getting 1towel to share between the 2 of us. This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the main strip of shops and bars and there are some lovely bars. The pools are clean and of decent sizes and we had no problems getting a sun lounger in the mornings. The staff at this hotel are really really lovely and it makes me feel bad to leave such a bad review but unfortunately this was our experience and no matter how many times the staff try to tell you this is a 4 star hotel.. it is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. 2 star at most. We tried to save ourselves money by booking a ‘cheap and cheerful’ break but with the money we spent on eating out/drinks/air con , we could of gone somewhere spectacular. All in all, Rhodes is a stunning place and I would definitely go back however I would not return to this hotel even if you paid me.

Firstly, upon arrival we were charged a €10 per night (€70 total) for air con, and were also told we had to pay the full amount for our stay, and couldn’t do individual day by day pay. We booked a double room, and we’re issued two twin beds (there was no option to have just a double bed, you had to click the option for “double/twin bed” so really this was a gamble to see what we would end up with). The room door was broken, peeling forward when you opened the door, and the bathroom door had nothing to lock into. When we told downstairs if they could move us or fix the door, they sent up the maintenance man who spoke no english, and couldn’t really communicate with us, but we got the jist that he couldn’t/wouldn’t fix the bathroom door and he tightened the screws on the door, but ultimately didn’t fix a lot, the door still looked extremely unsafe. We had one plug which hung from an awkward height. The mini fridge was practically a freezer, anything placed in it turned to ice. We stayed a week, our towels were never changed, housekeeping came at completely unpredictable times, from early morning to 5pm? The hotel food was honestly disgraceful. If this is what regular all inclusive buffets look like, i shant ever book another. Same foods, interesting combinations of food, bland or cold. Not worth it. We ate out most night due to how cheap greece can be, and grabbed things from supermarkets instead. Pizza by the pool was alright and the cocktails/drinks offered are extremely limited but decent. The pool has not enough space. Not enough lounge chairs and nearly all of them were broken. I will say that the Karaoke night was wonderful. The wifi was awful, worked temperamentally and didn’t reach our room. We ended up using restaurant wifi to get in touch with home. Overall i wouldn’t recommend this hotel, we had a brilliant holiday for other things greece has to offer and for making the best of our hotel, but if i had to go again, i would definitely be staying elsewhere.

Where to start we will not be returning to this hotel, had to pay €10 euros per day for air con which when you book all inclusive is shocking, only beer and wine and fizzy drinks until 5.30pm and then cocktails and spirits available until 10.30pm. had cockroaches in our bathroom I’m petrified of any sort/ type of bug asked reception to remove them however they sprayed bug spray and that was that however the cockroaches were still coming and going as they please, rooms were small but ok. Food was not for us only good food was the pizza served 4pm - 5.30pm and the days they did Bbq for lunch was really nice. We ate out a few times due to lack of choice one day there wasn’t even chips. Most of the staff were very friendly a few not so much. Had to hold shower head up with carrier bag as kept sliding down just would not stay up. The views here are stunning and the beach is a 15-20 min walk which is a nice walk along the strip of bars and shops stunning beach. The views from this hotel were probably the best thing about it lovely Mountain View’s. No locks in the toilets around the pool or the locks in the hotel toilets on the ground floor. Best part of the holiday was the views and the beach. We would come back to Rhodes just not this hotel.
