The hotel is beautiful, rooms are cleaned daily and always spotless. The rooms were really modern and we had a nice room overlooking the pool. The pool water is really uncomfortably freezing, so not many people went in it- and I mean it is really freezing. One thing I would say is that this hotel is out of the way, so majority of people who stayed here were older people or a few families. If you’re young and wanting a hotel with a lot to do, I would say look to stay a bit closer in to Rhodes. There is a few bars just round the corner from the hotel which we used to go to every night. The hotel says on the websites, that it has entertainment but in the evening there is no sort of entertainment at all which I think they could look at adding. The staff are friendly and found them all really lovely. Food wise is usually what you would find, and there was always pizza, chips, spaghetti etc if you are a picky eater. Near to the hotel there is a hire car company, so we did a lot of day trips and they rented it to us for a cheap price.

I just returned from a fabulous holiday on the island of sun- Rhodes. I stayed in Niriides beach hotel in Kolymbia. If you are still deciding where to spend your holidays I would strongly recommend you to book a room in this hotel. It is situated in a quiet area of Kolymbia village but very near to a lively center and a famous eucalyptus alley with lots of restaurants and tourist shops. This hotel doesn't have enterntaiment evenings, but you don't have to worry about this as there is a wide selection of things to do when it gets dark. You can enjoy live music performance in one of the bars, sip greek frappe in a pleasant atmoshere of a tavern or drink 2 cocktails for the price of one in one of the restaurants! Of course if you prefer shopping there are lots of tiny shops with tourist souvenirs.
As to the service in the hotel, it went beyond my expectations. The room was cleaned every day, it was very clean, the towels were also changed daily. I decided for halfboard and I was fairly satisfied. i admit that the selection of food could have been wider, but the most important thing was that it was very tasty. The menu included Greek specialties and you could even had as much ice-cream as you wished.
The hotel has big open air swimming pool with a garden where you could rest in the shade of the palms.
Kolymbia is also suitable for everyone who don't only like the sandy beaches but also enjoy travelling as it is a good starting point to the most interesting places like Rhodes town, lindos, Monolithos, Seven springs or Faliraki.
If you decide for holidays in rhodos, I wish you a pleasant stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 11 days during our vacation.
I would rank this hotel by 3 stars, not 4 but we were satisfied with the hotel service. The staff is very friendly - from room service through reception or restaurant staff.
The hotel is older (maybe its era was in the 90's) so you can expect older furniture or bathroom equipment. But it is clean. The room was cleaned every day, every day we got clean towels too.
The pool is very nice, quite big with good water temperature and clean water. The garden is kept in good condition as well.
The staff is very friendly, they smile at you and provide good service.
With regards to the food - we had all inclusive. Please, if you expect all inclusive a la Eqypt or Turkey, forget about it. You have exact time for the breakfast (7.00 - 10.00), for the lunch (12.30 - 14.30) and for the dinner (18.30 - 20.30). For me it is no problem, as I came to Rhodes for swimming and exploring new places, not to eat from the morning to the evening.
The food is quite tasty.
Breakfast: several kinds of cereals, yoghurt with or without fruit, jams, honey, nutella, several kinds of ham, cheese, tomato, olives, eggs, sausages, beans...
Lunch: tomatoes, paprika, onion, olives, cheese and dressing, spagethi, chicken meat, pork meat, fish, vegetables, potatoes, french fries, rice, greek specialities...
Dinner: same as lunch but also the soup was available
For lunch and for dinner the fruit was available, also cakes and ice-cream.
For drink there were local beer, local wine (red and white), water, soda, cola, juices, coffe, tea
Every day you can choose something else for your meal. Something was more tasty, something less. But I think, you will not be hungry.
Alcohol drinks are available at the pool bar till 18.00, after then in the restaurant bar till 24.00.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Yes, it is older hotel, but the people make from it the good place to stay.
The beach is approximately 10 minutes by foot from the hotel. The eucalyptus avenue is about 50 metres from the hotel with many shops, bars or tavernas. The bus stop (to Lindos, Rhodes town, Tsambika, Faliraky etc.) is also about 50 meters far from the hotel.
If you come to Greece to enjoy the country, the sea and to explore this beautiful place, the hotel is for you. If you come to Greece to stay only in the hotel with big and luxury room and modern furniture and to eat through the whole day, go elsewhere, it is not for you. :)

We stayed in Niriides Hotel from 12th to 22nd August. We enjoyed is so much. I think it's good place to stay as for couples as well for families with kids or friends or older people.

Greetings from Slovakia.

Overall, the actual building was great. It was exceptionally clean (new towels every day and the bedding changed regularly changed), the pool was nice and the restaurant layout was good.

However, the actual atmosphere of the hotel was very poor. Firstly, There was no atmosphere - there was no entertainment at all apart from one Greek night. There was one member of staff behind the bar in the day and one at night, both obviously ran off their feet which made them unpleasant and grumpy. The day time bar man who worked at the ‘Pool Bar’ told us that we needed to be dry before ordering a drink and told us to bring our cups back. He never smiled.

The restaurant staff were lovely, particularly the restaurant manager. He always made effort to talk. But the food was not good. We lived off pizza and wedges. We ate our most nights although we paid for all inclusive because the standard of food was rubbish. There was no snack bar and also ice cream was only available to children and not adults.

When we first checked in, the air conditioning was poor and the toilet wouldn’t flush. we had the re-pack and swap rooms. When we had swapped rooms the air conditioning was still poor and we had to hold the shower above our heads as the bracket was loose.

Overall, wouldn’t recommend this hotel. In my opinion, it most definitely isn’t a 4 star.

Absolutely terrible, upon arriving at the hotel , the staff behind the desk was terribly rude and unprofessional. The food was awful , tasteless , and often gross. I was asking for my aircon too be turned on and the lady explained that I had to pay. I said okay let’s do that as I was suffering with the heat in the room. The woman then said ( im finishing now ) a aggressive 5,8 fat man with grey hair , ended up stating (there is nothing we can do ) although stated we could of paid by prior staff. The man was aggressive towards myself and my fiancé. This is the poorest stay I have ever had, and if your looking for a hotel with uncomfortable beds, staff who are AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE. This is the place for you.

We stayed in August for two weeks. A very successful holiday with the family. Hotel room fulfilling its task, comfortable, spacious, cleaned every day, including the change of sheets. The air conditioning in the room worked flawlessly. The food was varied and tasty, the manager of the room was very nice and liked our son with reciprocity. The swimming pool in the middle of the hotel is clean and well maintained, although we used it only twice, we prefer beaches and the sea. From the hotel close to the beach a few minutes walk. Next to the hotel, there is a bus stop and a taxi stop, also grocery and souvenir shops. We will remember our stay very fondly and I will not say a bad word about this hotel. This is a hotel primarily for people who want to relax, peace and quiet despite being close to the beach and the town center.

I was not impressed with this hotel one bit. The staff were not very welcoming during the whole stay. The pictures are not the same as the hotel itself so do not be fooled. The rooms looked really nice in the photos, but also do not be fooled by this, our room was out the way with a view of a little bit of grass with some weeds. It was dingy and had no life to it. My sister ran the water to do a bath which was yellow dirty water. The TV was not working. There was no evening entertainment, the bar staff were not chatty or helpful. Very rude, slamming the glasses on the side when giving you your drink. No one seemed happy. The food wasn't the best, I know not to expect them to cater for every person but it was the same food pretty much every day and was not fresh. i would not recommend this hotel and definitely not a 4 star.

The hotel was spotless, the staff including George, Abi and Donna were amazing, friendly and helpful. The food was great with great choice and variety. The room was cleaned every single day, even the day we were leaving. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel beach could do with a bit of TLC but apart from the perfect. Bus stop practically outside and main town about 3k away. Thank you so much xx

The worst possible hotel. It deserves only 2 stars. There were ants in the room from the first day. The food was good, but the selection was small. Practically the same every day. Very unpleasant service, except for Mrs. Magda from the reception. The manager with the beard mentally terrorizes the staff. He probably feels too much in his role. The employees complained about him all the time. You can do practically nothing in the hotel. Everything is forbidden. This is not my first cheaper hotel, but this one deserves someone from the upper management to clean it up.

I was apprehensive before I arrived after looking at the reviews on Trip Advisor but did also note they were not recent. I thought this hotel ticked all the boxes for me. The location was excellent the resort itself is small but has several bars, tavernas and shops on the doorstep of the hotel. The beach was a short walk away , we went to the beach most days, the sea was amazing., The beach is a mixture of sand and shingle so beach shoes are a good idea. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were good. The rooms were cleaned and the towels changed daily. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. The food was basic and obviously on a budget but there was lots of choice and something for everyone (no upset tummies ! ). There is no entertainment at night but that suited me and it was quiet entertaining sitting round the bar in the evening !!
I liked that this hotel as it is not too large and felt quiet safe .
Would recommend the boat trip to Lindos from the little harbour with Captain Antonio
