Myrina Beach Hotel is lauded for its excellent location, nestled close to a stunning beach, striking the right balance between tranquility and convenience. While the value proposition receives mixed feedback due to some concerns over facilities and food, many guests find the pricing reasonable for certain services. The refurbished rooms are a hit, though the presence of thin walls and occasional missing amenities is noted. Amenities, including diverse dining options and entertainment, are generally well-received, although limited sunbeds and overly loud pool music are drawbacks for some. The service at Myrina Beach stands out, with many guests commending the staff's friendliness and efficiency. Cleanliness is another strong point, with numerous compliments directed at the meticulous housekeeping.

This hotel has just been renovated to a high standard and the decor with exception to the dining room was very modern and clean, the restaurant had more of a traditional wood feel to it.

We booked a garden view swim up room which was lovely, private, well maintained/cleaned daily and well located and had sun all day long albeit not the entire balcony area.

The food was as expected for a Mediterranean AI hotel, there was ample choice but we would have struggled to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant fortunately that wasn’t in our plans. We ate out every evening as there are lots of local restaurants near by most of them very good to exceptional.

There are pool towels for a €10 deposit each which you get back once returned and you can swap them throughout your stay. You can ask to extend your room as we had a late flight, this is €50. We were asked by reception if we had booked this via TUI but it wasn’t an option so we hadn’t maybe worth checking if it is as you can’t be confirmed until the day before.

There was also the pool bar which provides snacks during the day which we didn’t know until we arrived which was a nice welcomed touch including cakes, mini hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and wraps. There was always scooped ice cream available in different flavours too.

I would not classify 4 star as the bars close at 23.00 and the premium drinks and a wider cocktail selection are chargeable, the entertainment is variable and there is no a la carte but the hotel and staff are lovely and I would recommend with these expectations in mind.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed review and feedback on your recent stay at Myrina Beach Resort. We're delighted to hear that you appreciated the high standard of our recent renovations and found our garden view swim-up rooms to be lovely, private, and well-maintained as well as our staff members being lovely. It's great to know you enjoyed the sunny balcony and the traditional ambiance of our restaurant. We would like to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The price for late checkout does vary depending on the season, and since we are now going through high season, price might be different from the one you were asked to pay. Additionally, we have an a la carte restaurant that you might not have visited during your stay. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated. We're glad you enjoyed the variety of snacks available at our pool bar and found the pool towel service convenient. Your comments about the entertainment and bar service hours are duly noted, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. Thank you again for recommending our hotel. We hope to welcome you back into our family in the future. Best regards, Myrina Beach Resort

Just back from a week all inclusive at Myrina Beach so details are fresh. Stayed in block 1 in room 1201 with limited sea view - this was actually very good and gave views over the pool area and sea in the background, also very quiet during our stay. Rooms have recently been refurbished to a good standard, albeit our room was quite cramped. Shower works incredibly well with lots of pressure and heat at all times. Air con worked well and we were surprised to find the safe was free.
Pool area was the highlight of the Myrina for us - huge and excellent for swimming a few lengths, never had an issue obtaining a lounger at 11am on any day - the hotel has it's own beach with free loungers which took a lot of demand from the pool area - well done.
In 6 nights, the only half decent entertainment were the excellent ABBA tribute and Supremes, both were class outfits, a shame the day we left had a Boney M tribute which I am sure would have been good. Other nights had the default Greek night which wasn't for us, bingo and quiz nights. We expected better for a 4 star hotel.
The function area is lit akin to a football pitch with bright lights glaring over the tables, surely these could have been dimmed during showtime ? Staff at both bars were friendly enough - nice to see the gent on the scooter attending regularly, I believe he may be the owner.
Food in the dining area is varied, we had no issue choosing different dishes during each sitting - not the most relaxing restaurant but hey ho.
A special mention must go out to the restaurant meet and greet chap who seems to create the dress code depending on nationality. My partner arrived for lunch one day wearing a wrap over her swimming costume to be reprimanded by this chap and told not to wear this style again. On numerous occasions we even followed in diners wearing the EXACT same style with a warm greeting and not a word from him. He was clearly fine with one diner arriving for evening dinner one evening wearing a vest, football shorts, flipflops and baseball cap - seriously. If you are going to have a dress code then apply it throughout - the charming Emanuel guest relations gent clearly needs to spend some time with him for retraining.
To end on a positive, would we return, of course we would, The Myrina, with it's few faults but many positives is an excellent hotel within 5 minutes walk of Kolymbia Eucalyptus St with it's shops and bars - this makes for an excellent base in the resort and Kolymbia is well placed to explore Rhodes further either by road or boat.

We had a fantastic family holiday, (with two teenagers and a five year old).

I was really worried after reading some of the reviews during the peak weeks- but honestly if you have booked this hotel, you will have a great time !!!

We stayed in block 3 with a swim up pool and had a standard room above the lobby area.

The hotel is very clean, the maintenance and cleaning staff work really hard in the extremely hot weather

The swim up pool was fantastic and really worth the extra £

The beach is lovely- great water sports a very short walk up the beach- take beach shoes!

The food hall does get busy during the most popular times - but surely this is expected? The Que went down quickly and there was always plenty of food
There was a different selection of foods every mealtime, our children loved the pancakes at breakfast and the pool bar menu! The salad bars and carved meats were a great hit with adults 😀 90% of the food was labelled including Vegan/ dietary info
The staff in the main hall were so happy and welcoming , especially to children , it made them feel special

The entertainment was great, there was an evening show every evening (after mini disco) and a few times during the week a mid afternoon show by the main pool, some great acts !

The hotel entertainment team were fantastic, my five year old says “they are her best friends” it was a great spot for her to get shade from the sun and play with puzzles, colour or paint , she loved the mini disco and the pool entertainment / dances , they worked around the clock and were always happy to see her even on their days off from or whilst eating their own lunch, they played with her in the pool and made a real effort- our daughter didn’t want to leave!

The pool area was lovely and NEVER did we struggle with sunbeds during the 7 days we were there.

The bar staff were friendly , there was about 6/8 cocktails to choose from (Paradise was a personal favourite )

The Al a crate restaurant could be booked once per week and was a nice touch during sunset and all sit together for the duration, unlike buffet style meals , no signs of hornets or bugs as me ruined and citronella candles were lite

The hotel rep is very helpful and we highly recommend the semi private catamaran trips booked via TUI

Please don’t listen to all the reviews, we had a great time and would 💯 return 😀

If you have children and you need to go to an all-inclusive hotel, then please please avoid this hotel.

As I am writing this review my wife is currently booking another hotel to get away from this horrible place. (This could not be done in the height of the season)

First the good bits.
Staff are very welcoming when you arrive at the hotel.
Hotel is very clean although it's starting to show some little niggely bits that need minor attention.
Gardens are very well kept.
Pool is large and views are amazing.
Can't comment on the animation team as we haven't seen them at work, but other reviews state they are very good.
Rooms are dated need a refurb but are kept very clean by housekeeping staff.

Now for the bad bits.
I don't say these things very lightly both myself and my wife work in the travel industry (26yrs+) and have stayed at some amazing 4 star hotels and some seriously bad ones.
This hotel is sitting at the bottom of the league table.

First thing
Single use plastic glasses all over hotel except the restaurant.
In this day and age this should not be done especially single use plastic,I totally agree with plastic glasses needing to be used by the pool but as an adult to be sat at the bar on an evening drinking out of plastic glasses is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel.
Drinks are not that good neither.
Now the food.
All you people that put the food is excellent must live on McDonald's KFC and microwave meals and your tastebuds no longer work.
The old saying is you eat with your eyes well I wish I was blind.
Nothing looks appetizing not had a hot meal yet.
Always warm putting it onto a very cold plate by the time you get it to your table it's barely warm.
Salad choice is very plain no variety it's the same thing everyday.
Now if you have children
There is nothing in the restaurant for them
No fries ever
No chicken nuggets in fact anything that children will eat and now your thinking well they can eat at the pool snack bar WRONG
No burgers, hotdogs, fries or even pizza to keep them going not even any ice cream (only served in restaurant pm)
So if your a family on a budget keep away will cost you more in the long run to eat out.

Costs
10€ for each beach towel
Refunded when you return it
3€ for decent coffee
Machine coffee is vile.
Saw signs for 10€ to rent sunbeds on beach this might just be for non hotel residents.
Bars do not accept card just CASH.
All bars stop serving at 22.45.
So to sum up,
Come here if your not eating and drinking.
If you are big at saving the environment then avoid.

This place is ideal if you want peace and quiet,on a diet and t total that hates coffee.

I wrote a 1 star review of this hotel whilst I was there but am now amending it because of the exceptional service we received from Emmanuel. For the duration of our stay, the air con in our entire block was broken which meant our room was like an oven- the room thermometer said the room was 36 degrees when we checked once at 4 am. We didn’t get any sleep because our toddler was so distressed. It made all of us poorly it was so hot- we had migraines etc. Luckily, we found Emmanuel on day 3 who is an absolute rising star in hospitality. He was phenomenal and really saved our stay- he moved our room alongside some other perks and checked in with us for the duration of our stay. He will go far in this industry for sure, I hope upper level management know what an incredible asset he truly is.

Here are the reasons we still haven’t rated higher than 2 stars:

We get the impression that the refurb is all fur coat and no knickers. It looks really luxurious but it is actually an incredibly basic hotel, which feels as though it has been done up on the cheap.

The quality of the food at the a la carte is dire and you are plagued by hornets whilst trying to eat. We walked out mid meal.

Food in the buffet (and pool bar in the day) is better particularly the salads and pasta cooking station. However, food isn’t labelled properly so if you have any dietary requirements, you’re really playing a game of roulette each meal time.

They do not provide bottled water, it comes from the soft drink dispenser and tastes strange. Also, you can't get water after the bar shuts so stock up in the day. People were keeping the bottles you're given on arrival and filling them up which we wish we'd thought of but we threw them away because we didn't realise we wouldn't have access to bottled water again.

Eat at the airport if you're arriving after 21:30 (when the restaurant closes) as the food they leave out is unappetising and basic- crusty, dry ham and cheese sandwiches! I think someone photographed them on another review.

It is a sun lounger battle hotel so if you want a sun lounger, you're going to have to get up early. People started putting their towels down at 6 am and by the time we were out and about on our first day at 8 am they'd all gone.

The walls are really thin, you can hear everything happening outside and in the rooms next to you. So light sleepers bring ear plugs!

The cocktails included in the all inclusive package tasted like cheap cordial and the options were limited. It was essentially a lot of cheap orange squash and spirits with different names. The beer and wine were nice though so we stuck to those.

All in all, minus the air conditioning issues, this was a pleasant budget holiday. You get what you pay for so don’t be deceived by the luxurious facade.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are glad to hear that Emmanuel made such a positive impact on your stay. We are very proud of our staff, and it is heartening to know that his exceptional service helped improve your experience. We regret that the air conditioning issue negatively affected your stay. We have since addressed and resolved this issue to ensure that future guests enjoy the comfort they expect from our resort. Regarding your other concerns: Hotel Refurbishment: Our refurbishment was undertaken with great care, using high-quality materials and design principles to enhance both aesthetics and functionality. We strive to provide a luxurious experience that goes beyond appearances, and we regret that this was not your impression. Food Quality: Our à la carte restaurants are designed to offer a diverse and high-quality dining experience. However, we understand that not every dish will meet everyone’s tastes. We also take pest control very seriously and will review the situation with hornets to ensure that dining remains enjoyable for all our guests. As for the buffet and pool bar, we take note of your feedback regarding labeling and will ensure that dietary information is clearly provided. Water Availability: We provide bottled water upon arrival and offer filtered water stations throughout the resort. While we understand that some guests prefer bottled water, our efforts are part of a broader sustainability initiative. We will, however, ensure that guests are better informed about water availability after bar hours. Late Arrival Food Options: We offer light snacks for guests arriving after the restaurant closes, and we regret that these did not meet your expectations. We will review our late arrival offerings to better cater to our guests' needs. Sun Loungers: The demand for sun loungers is high during peak times, and we are working on improving this aspect of our service. We encourage guests to speak with our staff if they have any issues securing a lounger, as we are here to assist. Room Soundproofing: Our rooms are designed to provide a comfortable and peaceful environment. We apologize if this was not your experience and will take your feedback into consideration for future improvements. Cocktail Quality: Our cocktails are crafted to offer a variety of flavors, and we use quality ingredients in their preparation. We regret that they did not meet your expectations and will continue to refine our offerings. Myrina Beach Resort is committed to offering a high standard of service, accommodations, and amenities that reflect the quality of a premium resort. Our guests consistently express satisfaction with the value they receive, and we stand by the luxury and comfort we provide. We hope you will consider visiting us again in the future so you can experience the true quality of Myrina Beach Resort. Best regards, Myrina Beach Resort

Came here as a family of four the last week in July. Myself, husband and children aged 13 and 10. Arrived with a very open mind with booking very last minute and also learning that the hotel was newly refurbished we were a little cautious!
I can honestly say that we had a fabulous time, the rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. We had a superior twin family room with limited sea view and based in block 3. After looking at the few pictures available on the tui site it looked like the children would be sharing a sofa bed but this wasn’t the case it separated to two single beds which was great! Bedding was changed daily, floor swept and mopped with fresh towels if we left them in the shower area to be changed.
For an all inclusive the food was actually very good with traditional Greek food and also every evening a different fare, for example Mexican, Chinese, Italian. Always a roast meat and fish cooked fresh at the cooking stations. We ate at the pool bar most lunchtimes where the gyros and pizza were unreal! Breakfast was always good with freshly made pancakes, fried eggs and omelettes plus your usual continental variety. Plenty of choice at every meal.
The staff at the pool bar were exceptional namely Fotima and Vlodymyr (apologies for spelling!)
Every staff member works so hard and the hotel is impeccably clean. All very helpful if you have any questions.
The pool area is beautiful as is the beach, tip take your snorkel! Only negative I would say about the pool is that there are no lifeguards although there are stations.
A short walk into the town where there are a number of bars, restaurants and shops and again everyone very friendly and lovely. We had a beautiful meal at taverna ouzaki and some lovely drinks at the bar next door one afternoon at island breeze.
Bus stop right outside the hotel to the left, we got the bus to Rhodes old town and to Lindos and each journey was €4 each way and half price for children.
We have been to many all inclusive hotels throughout Europe and North Africa and we have all agreed that we would love to come back here.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your glowing review! We are delighted to hear that you and your family had a fabulous time at Myrina Beach Resort. It's wonderful to know that our spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and thoughtful amenities met your expectations, especially given the last-minute booking and recent refurbishment. We're glad that the dining experience impressed you, with a variety of cuisines and fresh options like gyros, pizza, and made-to-order breakfast items. Your kind words about our staff, especially Fotini and Volodymyr, are much appreciated. We take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and we're pleased that our team contributed positively to your stay. The pool area and beach are indeed highlights, and we're glad you enjoyed them. We appreciate your feedback regarding the absence of lifeguards but we assure you that they were always around, watching over the pool and taking care of the guests. We're thrilled that you've ranked us highly among the all-inclusive hotels you've visited and look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable holiday. Warm regards, Myrina Beach Resort

We booked this trip last minute, with a few reservations. The main one being the photos on the TUI app were appalling and do not show the hotel in all its beauty.

We arrived and check in was seamless, we were taken to our room by Mateo who was the bell boy. We were given room 2409, in block 2, we were told that this block had the best sea view, he was not wrong!

The room was very big, with twin beds and a sofa bed, we booked limited sea view twin room. The bathroom was very modern with walk in shower. Beds were very comfy!

The pool bar was great offering snacks from 10am to 6pm, fresh cooked pizza, gyros, chips, spring rolls, mini samosas and onion rings, very polite staff and the food areas were kept spotless. The bar was great also, drinks a plenty, but you can also buy branded drinks and pay separately if you so wish.

Never had any issues with getting a sunbed, either by the pool or the beach, strict policy in not reserving beds before 9am which was adhered to. Guy in charge of sunbeds was friendly and always kept the beach area clean collecting reusable cups etc from the beach area and returning them to the bar.

Restaurant was good, although a little chaotic- the layout did not flow. Hot food from the grill next to fruit and desserts and other hot food further round. Caused confusion with queuing at times as unsure what queue you were in, but, got the hang if it quickly, food was of good quality and varied, vegan section also available.

Supermarket on site too offering water snacks and all the usual holiday bits and pieces, and not overpriced. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel for anything else you need. Only a five minute or less walk down to the main shops bars and restaurants in Kolymbia.

We leave the hotel this evening to fly home, all round good experience, not a lot for older kids to do, however, the little ones who are here are having an amazing time.

Would recommend this hotel for a relaxing break

Honestly this is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in, I can't even understand the positive reviews below.
I paid almost €2000 for 2 people for 8 nights. I will detail my experience:
The infrastructure: when booking I practically only found photos of the rooms which date back 10 years. Well, that hasn't changed, I feel like I've traveled back in time and been in 1990. No decoration, very, very old furniture, a very noisy air conditioning that seems like being the same age as me. Bedding to be desired. It's shameful to charge so much and put 0 into infrastructure, I hope that your profits are generously redistributed to your employees.
The food is disgusting and I weigh my words, travelers who enjoyed it must surely eat cans at home to be able to enjoy the hotel restaurant. Quality is zero, no taste, the only options for vegetarians are green salad, white rice and tomato pasta. And even if I ate meat, there is no variety of dishes, the restaurant offers 1 meat or fish per meal and it is very low-end. I haven't tried the drink but from what I see, very chemical.
Breakfast is passable.

I end with the only positive points I find there:
The staff at reception and at the pool are lovely and helpful, I hope they are really well paid because I think they are the ones who make the experience successful for other travelers. They provide quality service on a daily basis.
The hotel is very family-friendly, if you go there without children I strongly advise against it. Lots of activity all day which is fun (thanks to the staff again and again).
The location is not bad, there are plenty of restaurants nearby which are good and thanks to which I don't starve. But I would add some information that is not easily found: it takes more than 1 hour by bus (€4 per trip) to go to Rhodes vs. 30 minutes by taxi but €45 per trip.

I conclude by specifying that the only reason why I booked this hotel was that it was a last minute vacation and I had the choice between overpriced hotels (€5000 per week) or all-inclusive hotels like this one and I had the misfortune of booking here. In the end I would have been better off breaking the bank because with all the additional expenses in restaurants and beach clubs to save my vacation, I spent that much.

A real disappointment. How can TUI say this is a 4 star hotel?

Newly renovated hotel and good location by a nice little beach with clear water but - the AC didn't work the first few days. No information about when it would be fixed but we had to ask every day. Bad cleaning when we had to ask them to come and empty the toilet paper basket. As they want you to throw the toilet paper in the bin, they should be emptied every day. Missing another bin in the room as the toilet bin quickly became full.

Big disappointment that there is no outdoor restaurant, apart from the a la carte restaurant. It looks like that in the pictures. It really takes away from the holiday feeling to have to sit indoors in a large room which gives the feeling of a school canteen. Uncomfortable and not suitable for a 4-star hotel.
Considering that this is a Blue star hotel, I think it kept a very poor standard in relation to what is promised.

Nor do I understand how it can be environmentally friendly to serve water and drinks in plastic cups. Not so festive either. I don't usually have such high expectations for all-inclusive but this food was really boring. For the vegetarian in the party, there was a really poor selection, which is also surprising in such a "good" hotel. Meager selection in the bar at AI, not even ouzo was included as I've had in much "worse" hotels.

The training consisted of yoga sessions every morning but no other guided sessions as far as we were informed. It said that there would be both group training and pilates, which was also disappointing.

From one day to another you would suddenly pay 15 euros for two sunbeds on the beach even though they were supposed to be included. Some were still free but very strange system.

The staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful, unlike the staff in the beach bar. Luckily it was warm and nice baths that we could enjoy. Will not choose TUI Blue star again.

Amazing Hotel and Amazing Staff!!!:)
If anyone is wondering if there is any work still going on at the hotel, the answer is No, it's all completed. We are here with the family, and we have 3 rooms in 3 diffret parts of this resort, non of us can see or hear of any building noise going on. The deco is just as per hotels pictures on Trip Advisor- no more blue and yellow umbrellas. Everything is so good for the 4* hotel it's definitely strong 5*.
Staff is so frendky and always smiling, Antonis the Guest Relation Manager is amazing, will deal with any issue which you may have (if there is any issues at all):)
There are safes in the rooms -as I know that someone mentioned before that there aren't. If there is anything in the room what is missing then just let reception know and please be understanding as they have just reopened after full refurbishment therefore it's normal to miss some things from the bedrooms :)
